Mary,

Diana's & Stacy's circle journals are off in the mail today.

I'll make a public statement right now -- Stacy, I apologize but I think the pages I did in your book look terrible. If I could have figured out a way to fix them, I would have but I'm not really happy with how they turned out at all. :(

Morning all. Today is cleaning and washing day to get ready for our trip on Wednesday. I can't wait.

Julie there are always more times for Palo when you get on board. Last year we wanted brunch so as soon as we boarded we went to wavebands and they started taking res. for Palo. There were lots of times available. I think that is what we will be doing this year too so we can stand in line together. :Pinkbounc

OKay! I just tried to add Tom and I to the DVC Family Cruise Gathering 2006 and after I gave all of my information the CM told me she needed to call someone to confirm that I could be added to the reservation! I gave her Roxann's name and all of the information but they wouldn't take my credit card information. I asked if there was still room on the cruise and she couldn't tell me that either. I hope there is still room and we are able to join you. Annmarie

I think I missed something. What is the DVC Family Cruise Gathering?

Also, in relation to the discussion about Serendity Bay, someone said something about not going until after the photo shoot last year. What photo shoot was that? What is it?

I have a question about the banana boat ride. Did someone say it has already showed up on their reservation? Where do you go to see that. If I go to the Disney Cruise Line Web site and pull up My Reservations, I don't see anything.

Just guessing that maybe AnnMarie is referring to the grand gathering that Roxann is booking?

Last year, DVC gave us Black Mickey Ears to wear at CC. They did a group picture of all of us standing on the beach, wearing the ears. For the SSMC03, the cruisers were giver tshirts to wear for the picture. Some of us are thinking that DVC will once again want a group shot.

Ours shows up under excursions.

Mary (wdwlvr) is the one who coordinated it. Maybe you want to contact her if it's still not there --- but she's quick, so she's probably already read this.

Sandy - let me see if I can work backwards and help.

When you log in at the DCL site under your reservations scroll down and it should list each of the days. Some days with have the words "Not activities scheduled" but Monday should show the Banana Boat. It isn't under the excursions tab but on the first page after you get into your reservation.

Photo shoot - for the last two member cruises DVC did a large photo shoot on the boat beach with the ship in the background. On SSMC03 they gave us all t-shirts to wear (blue for adults, yellow for kids).

On SSMD05 they gave us all Mickey ears to wear:

Not sure what they will do this year. It was one of the things I wanted to find out since I want to book a morning excursion. I don't want it to conflict with the photo shoot if at all possible since we've been in the other two.

The Grand Gathering Wishes cruise is being organized for Friday night October 27th by Roxann. Contact her for details.

Hope this all helps.

See, Sandy, I told you Mary was quick :car:

I was going to post that the picture from last year is on the member site.

Still nothing new out there for our cruise, though. :(

Sandy - I hope Todd chimes in because he might be able to explain it better. He was having the same trouble not seeing it but just pm'd me that when he changed to IE (I think he said he was running firefox) that he could see it.

A helpful hint for booking day (this coming Sunday night/Monday morning). Based on experience with our May cruise - use Internet Explorer to get into the site. Some didn't and had a hard time booking excursions etc.

Good luck and I hope everyone gets what they want.

Wow, it's been quiet around here today! I've been busy around the house. Emily is in summer "camp" at her preschool this week (a nice break around here, since the girls were getting on each other's nerves). So, it was just Madison and I around the house today, so I tried to do a few things around here. Now, Emily is at swimming lessons with Chris and I'm making dinner. Chris has to do work tonight, and I'm hoping to get some scrapbooking projects done tonight.

Hi all, Dis-ing from work...

OK, in 9 days, at 2:00AM CDT I have to go online and register. All I think I want to do is register for Flounder's after early dining for 4 hours so we can watch the shows in peace. Since we are in the dark as to the special features, we don't know what else to book.

Maybe I should book Robin a massage...I broke out in the mud bath.....

:figment:

Chime! Chime!

Okay, yes. When I viewed the "My Cruise Reservation Details" page in Firefox I do not get the day to day listing. I had to switch to Internet Explorer (well okay using IETab Extension in Firefox, but you can use IE directly too), relogin to the cruise site, reenter my reservation number, and then the page had the details for me.

My guess is its an ActiveX control which Firefox won't display (or perhaps adblock was blocking) - not 100% sure, once it worked I didn't investigate further.

David - sounds like a plan to me! Oh breaking out in the mud bath sounds awful!!! I hope it went away quickly!

Speaking of the spa.....does anyone know anything about the upgrades to the spa that are going to be made during drydock? If it's going to be like the Magic, will we to be able to book Spa Villas for our cruise? :scratchin

Right now we're trying for the Stingrays on Monday and the Eco Tour on Wednesday. That should keep up plenty busy during the CC days.

I'm also planning on booking some sort of spa treatment early Tuesday morning, but I'm not sure which. I'm addicted to all those crazy body treatments.

Diana - yes as far as I know they will be adding the spa villas to the Wonder just like on the Magic.

For those who are doing the MNSSHP--are we all meeting somewhere? If so, where and at what time. I need to make dinner reservations so I have to get moving I guess.

Just let me know

Jacqui

Well I guess I'll just have to pull those pages out. :lmao:
Don't worry about it. To me it's still something special from someone else. We all have off days but like I've said before I'll love it since it's something you made for me

I want Julies itinerary! :rotfl2:

I didn't notice a time on that Wedding so that we could be there to cheer when the minister/priest/rabbi tells Matt he may kiss his Bride after you exchange your vows. :confused3
