Yoohoo, Julie, here's the info you're waiting to hear!!
Cameron loved camp and had a blast!!

When I asked if he's going back next year, he said "yeah" like it was never even a thought to not return. They had a lot of fun and he earned 4 merit badges. His favorite thing was the rifle shooting (I could have guessed that based on his postcard

). When I asked him why he wrote twice on his postcard that he missed us, he replied that he didn't know what else to write and that he really didn't miss us at all.

I'll have to help him over the year on how to write a better post card so that Mom doesn't worry when it gets delivered at home next summer.
The only "negative" I heard from the Scoutmaster was that there was a food fight one night when the leaders had a dinner meeting and the boys dined in a separate area. Cameron said it wasn't his fault, he wasn't quite sure how it started, but it was fun.

Cameron said it was a better use of the food as it wasn't that great tasting anyway.
Oh, and he was much too busy to bother to take the disposable cameras out of his bag and take any pictures. So, I'm hoping the leaders took some that they will pass along.
The one time they went fishing Cameron told me he caught a big bass. When I asked how big, he measured his hands to be about 1 1/2 feet long, and then shrunk them down to the size of about 1.5" ---- I guess the fish were just not biting for him. But, it's better to catch a baby fish than nothing I guess.
I won't tell Cameron how much I worried and missed him but now that he's home, I feel much better. I slept like a log last night knowing he was under our roof.
