We went to a little farm by us this morning. The kids thought it was great to try and catch the little chickens that were roaming around.

Here's a couple pictures of my kids:
Walker and two of his friends:

And, in case anyone is up for a challenge, Cameron's hosting a class on how to blow bubbles with bubble gum. :teeth:

Is it that her back end just gives out at any time and she ends up dragging herself to where she's going? That's what's going on with Penny, our 13 year old Dal. I'm so sad because she's getting worse each day. We have 3 steps from the outside door up to the kitchen and she falls down them every time now. Today I spent 10 minutes struggling to get her up the steps. I ended up in tears. She's a good dog, she still eats well and has a great temperment and loves the girls. I'm just not ready to let her go.

It is her back end but it is almost like her leg goes to sleep and after she is limping around it seems to get better. Some days she can jump up on the bed and the couch and other days I have to help her. She is still shedding all over though. I can't imagine how hard it will be when we have to let her go. She was our first baby and the girls grew up with her. She is really a great dog.

It was said so well, I thought it was worth repeating. I've got more to read, but got this far at least.

Turkey chili for dinner tonight. MMmmmm!

WooHoo! 10,000 posts and growing.

How many do we think we'll have by the time the cruise rolls around? Mary, are we still on track for your last projection?

I can't even begin to imagine what the looked like -- let alone smelled like.

Yuck!! :crazy2:
Cindy - Tom was so grossed out that just the smell of french toast still makes his stomach turn.

Ilene - what Message Editor Interface are you using? If you go to User CP (up on the red bar on the far left) then go to Edit Options (4th choice down on the box on the far left). Now scroll down to Misc. Options. You can change your option to Enhanced Interface and it brings all the color, font, and size options right into your response box. Much easier than trying to use code.

Hope this helps.
Thanks Mary!! I didn't know this either!
Whoa! that is something! I've learned too! Thank you!

Just to update you on my condition. The Dx is in: ruptured disc at C5 and C6 with associated mild nerve damage to the left arm. I am to have a nerve block done on Thursday but want to do some research about it first. I think other than surgery, it might be my only option for relieving the pain. :-( No work for awhile either I guess. Not fun. Hope to be better real soon.

pixiedust: for success with the nerve block.

Gail - glad you are feeling better. Sorry that alcohol isn't considered a liquid!

I've got a funny story for you. Tom had surgery several months ago and was in the hospital for 8 days. He was on IV fluids without any food for the first 3 days. Then switched to liquids for 2 days. On the 6th day, food services came by with a menu for him. He was SOOO excited! He ordered french toast with maple syrup for breakfast. In the morning, someone dropped off his tray and there was a bowl and a cup of tea but no french toast. He called the young woman back into the room and explained there must be an error because he ordered french toast. The young woman smiled and said there wasn't an error. Just opened the lid to the bowl and said the french toast was pureed!!! He was now on a soft foods diet! Needless to say he didn't eat it. The moral of the story is be careful what you order!

Annmarie

Even as hungry as I am right now - pureed french toast doesn't even come close to sounding appetizing. :crazy2:

Well Cameron impressed Deanna with that bubble! She wants to know how many pieces of bubble gum he needed for that bubble.

I'd like to know how close to our target we are. Mary, do you still remember what the numbers were?

Hey Cindy - When are you coming to WDW in August? I was just looking at Passholder rates and was thinking about just staying Saturday night in one of the Values.

You know I honestly can't remember what our goals were. :rotfl: I know the SSMC05 topped 14,000. I think at one point I said we could make 20,000. Not sure if that will happen.

Of course you never know. If we got something from DVC I bet we coule rack up 1000 posts just talking about that!
