Mary + Mark that's WONDERFUL news!!!

Just wanted to jump in and share my congratulations!!! Hi everyone! We're on the wait list for this one, but so far, no news.

CONGRATS AGAIN YOU GUYS!!!

Mark - that is awesome news! Sure makes your Double Scoop that much sweeter I bet!

Steve - thought of you when I was at EPCOT tonite - they had an awesome display of the LGB (?) trains you like. I took some pics but will have to send them or post them when I get home later in the week.

Another wonderful day at DVC - to be continued...

Who else has an LGB train collection? Mine is still in NJ and probably will be until I get a bigger place. I haven't had it out for a couple of Christmases though.

I sure can, it's about 15 minutes from us. We've been there a few times, but we now have a Hooters less than 5 minutes away now, so that's where we go. It's actually one of Emily's favorite restaurants. So much so, that all of the waitresses know the girls and comment about how big they are getting.

Anyway, the original Hooters has been expanded several times, but it's still going strong in Clearwater. I pass it when I want to go to the Super Target in the area.

For those of us waitlisted for different resorts has anyone gotten all of their waitlisted days?

We got our first two nights for BCV Oct. 20 and 21st
Still waitlisted for Oct. 26 and 27th for BCV and I just recently added BWV and VWL to the search. Anyone have any luck for their waitlist for after the cruise?

We're waiting for Thursday Oct 26 - 1 bdrm at BCV. We have Friday and Saturday night booked there. Hopefully it comes through or we might just have to stay on the ship

We were originally waitlisted for Saturday night, but that waitlist came through within a week. I was able to get Thursday & Friday night when I called at the 7 months at BCV.

The 3 day cruise was nice - short but nice. I found my new ship mate to be interesting.
And I would like to add that I did not once lose my KTTW card this time. The servers at dinner were great - sure will look forward to seeing them again. We had Lisa and Megan - I would definitely recommend them.

Mary didn't have any problems holding on to her KTTW card. I think it was the company she kept on the Member Cruise that caused her problems As long as she's not around someone named John, I think her KTTW card is safe.
We did have a fabulous, relaxing cruise. The weather was awesome-lots of sun. I'll just have to remind Mary on the next cruise to apply her sunscreen properly

Morning all,

I left work yesterday and never turned the computer on at home...you guys were busy! But I have today off, so I caught up on all the news!

Congrats, Mark! That is wonderful news! Now you can book your next trip! My work is sometime generous like that also. I have gotten weekends paid for, and just was offered a week using their Marriott timeshare. I thought maybe I'd see for a week in early December near Disney! The last few years the Cubs have had a magical gathering then, and its my b-day! Not as nice as your bonus, but still I will take it!

Well it looks to be a sunny day here in the Chicagoland area! I am off to enjoy it, and do some gardening!

I think Mary and her KTTW card are the highlight of John's cruise

I found out that I needed to learn how to apply sunscreen properly when we were on Labadee (stop on our RCL cruise). After being on the beach all day I noticed that I had white finger marks where I attempted to put sunscreen on - the rest looked like a lobster. Maybe I should get that spray on kind!

I make a reservation for a friend who waited too long to make her mind up. She wanted a studio at either the BWV or BCV for Nov 5-10. I could only get Nov 7 & 8. I am waitlisted for the 5th, 6th 9th. I have a backup reservatio for a 1 bedroom at BCV for Nov 5-10 but I do not want to hold it until the last munute when the waitlist gets active. I have said that on July 1 she will have to either take the 1 bedroom or take her chances with the waitlist.

We have BWI the night before the cruise and are wait listed for BCV. After the cruise we were able to get Matt's family into BCV on our points but are waitlisted for Sunday night as they changed their minds on when they were leaving.
