Diana - awesome pic of the girls. They look like they are ready to fly down to SSMC06!

Well I'm off to the Chiropractor first this morning and then to the hospital for the neurologic eval with EMG. A little nervous but hopefully will be able to find cause of pain and alleviate it. I'll post later today and let you know how I made out. Have a great day. It's a beautiful, sunny and very warm day here in MA.

Good luck Ilene! Here's some pixie dust to you too! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

I just received a call from John (dh of #1Mouse) to let me know that he had taken Gail to the hospital. She currently is down having an ultra sound to determine if the problem is gall bladder. John is to call me tomorrow and let me know what they find out. Needless to say Gail won't be posting for a couple of days, and maybe more if she ends up having surgery. I will let you know what I hear from John.

Carol

Thanks for letting us know, Carol.

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for Gail!

Diana,

I love the new picture of the kids. I liked the other one, but this one shows the girls better. ::yes::

It won't be long. :disrocks:

Thanks. But when I see the plane picture, I remember what happened just seconds after that shot was taken. Let's see, Julia reached forward and tried to grab the plane's steering wheel from Emma, in turn Emma pushed Julia away and the little sister who can definitely hold her own then grabbed a full fist of Emma's hair and yanked it for all she was worth. :headache: There were tears, people in the mall looking around to see who was beating there kids and the session was quickly over from there. :lmao:

And you guys wonder why I drink so much Twisted Tea! :drinking1

I'm heading off to the gym in a little while, then going grocery shopping.....don't get to 10,000 until I get home!!!

Cindy - we sure are! I expect we'll gain more people and get a little chattier the closer to the cruise we get!

Speaking of which - let's do another round of GTKYKFC :)

  • Not counting Disney in any way (including DCL) what has been your most memorable vacation?
  • In honor or Gail - how many times have you been to the hospital?
  • Do you have any regular summer outings you take? (Family reunion, festivals, etc.)
  • Do you have AP's to Disney?
  • Do you have a DDE card?
  • How do you capture your vacation memories: Film, Digital, Video?

  • Not counting Disney in any way (including DCL) what has been your most memorable vacation? In 1988 my mom's boss gave her an all expense trip to Hawaii. We spent 11 days split between Oahu and Kauhi. It was awesome and now that my mom is no longer with us it makes it an even more cherised memory.
  • In honor or Gail - how many times have you been to the hospital? Thankfully only 4 times. When I was born, 1980 when I broke my ankle (still have the pins and rod in from that), 1990 when I had my cancer surgery, and 2001 when I had a kidney stone. Hopefully it will be a good long time until I ever have to go back in. Of course I didn't count the yearly visits for my mammogram as that is just testing.
  • Do you have any regular summer outings you take? (Family reunion, festivals, etc.) We have our trip up to the Milwaukee Mile for the Busch/Truck races (that's this weekend :cheer2: ), we also have our yearly trip up to Milwaukee Irish Fest. In addition we try and get out to Brookfiled Zoo at least once each summer.
  • Do you have AP's to Disney? We sure do!
  • Do you have a DDE card? We did last year, but not this. We just aren't spending as much time at WDW this year (more cruises) so it didn't make sense for us.
  • How do you capture your vacation memories: Film, Digital, Video? Definately digital, with the exception of film in our disposable underwater cameras. :)

And, you will forever have the image burned into your memory banks.

Years from now, you may even laugh about these kinds of things. ;)

I'll play! :thumbsup2

  • Not counting Disney in any way (including DCL) what has been your most memorable vacation? I guess that means Hilton Head is out too. Even though we almost didn't get married because of it :furious: , I'd have to say our pre-wedding trip Gary & I took. We drove up to Niagra Falls, circle Albany several times trying to figure out how to get off the highway up there, headed to a wedding in MA, drove down to Washington DC and then headed home. We had a lot of problems along the way with reading maps and getting lost as well as Gary having a couple run ins with items and my car. But here we are, 17 years later.
  • In honor or Gail - how many times have you been to the hospital? Oh my, I'll have to count as I go. When I was born (1), umbilical hernia (2), cyst removed (3), laparoscopy (4), 30 days with my pregnancy with Cameron (5), 1 night prior to Walker being born (6) and Walker's birth (7). Yikes!! I've had my share and that doesn't count the times I've had outpatient surgery. :(
  • Do you have any regular summer outings you take? (Family reunion, festivals, etc.) We go to the zoo. Normally we head to Hilton Head for a week. I take the kids a lot of places during the week.
  • Do you have AP's to Disney? Yes, we're probably going to renew them as well. The cost of park hoppers is so close to the AP's and it's so tempting to utilize them for a quick weekend trip!
  • Do you have a DDE card? Yes. Last cruise, we didn't have it in time to use for breakfast pre-cruise so Chris (sanddune) was nice enough to invite us to join them for breakfast and still get the discount.
  • How do you capture your vacation memories: Film, Digital, Video? We don't usually drag the video camera anymore. It's just kind of cumbersome but we do have a digital camera that we take tons of pictures with and can also take short video clips if we want.

Not counting Disney in any way (including DCL) what has been your most memorable vacation? That is easy ALASKA in 2004

In honor or Gail - how many times have you been to the hospital? As a Patient 12

Do you have any regular summer outings you take? (Family reunion, festivals, etc.) Not really

Do you have AP's to Disney? We did for 2005 but not at the present time

Do you have a DDE card? Yes but it will expire in Aug I think

How do you capture your vacation memories: Film, Digital, Video?
All three depending on the vacation

Yikes, Steve. You have me beat! :(

ETA: That :( is for all you've been though.....not because it's more than my ailments. Just clarifying that. This certainly isn't a contest when it comes to someones health.
