Oh Mary - I'm so sorry for you and your family. Pets sure do take a hold of our heartsMaryJ said:Hi all. It's gloomy and cloudy here today and it's somewhat that way in our hearts too. We said goodbye to Tigger today. I had hoped we could wait until Monday, but this morning it was obvious that she was in a lot of pain, so I called the vet's office, left a message, and he met us there at 1:00 to euthanize her. He told us we made the right decision. Ken's dad has a little grove of pine trees behind his house that has served as the family "pet cemetary" for years, so we took her there and buried her. Some tears were shed, but all in all I feel better knowing that she's no longer in pain. I actually think that she just held on until we got back from WDW to really start to go downhill.
On a happier note, Ken's aunt and uncle are home from the hospital. They both need canes to walk, (but my goodness, they're in their 80's!) but otherwise are doing well.

But, I'm happy to hear that Ken's aunt and uncle are doing better!!!
