Hi all. It's gloomy and cloudy here today and it's somewhat that way in our hearts too. We said goodbye to Tigger today. I had hoped we could wait until Monday, but this morning it was obvious that she was in a lot of pain, so I called the vet's office, left a message, and he met us there at 1:00 to euthanize her. He told us we made the right decision. Ken's dad has a little grove of pine trees behind his house that has served as the family "pet cemetary" for years, so we took her there and buried her. Some tears were shed, but all in all I feel better knowing that she's no longer in pain. I actually think that she just held on until we got back from WDW to really start to go downhill.

On a happier note, Ken's aunt and uncle are home from the hospital. They both need canes to walk, (but my goodness, they're in their 80's!) but otherwise are doing well.
Oh Mary - I'm so sorry for you and your family. Pets sure do take a hold of our hearts  , don't they!! :grouphug: for you to get through this tough time!!!

But, I'm happy to hear that Ken's aunt and uncle are doing better!!!

I'm sure this would be right up Walker's alley.
Oh, I'm sure that it would be!! I think that it's very similar to what they do at the Main Street Barbershop for the boys - - colored gel, confetti, etc!!

Amy, those pictures are adorable!

Wow, did I conk out! :faint: Been running around a lot the last couple of days, first for work, then for fun, and it all caught up after we got home from dis meeting then grocery shopping. Lay down and immediately out cold for hours. Was worth it, the meet was fun!

Here's the pic from our camera post breakfast:

From L-R: Tina & dd Krystina & dd Haylee, Mary & I & Bear, Cindy & Gary & ds Walker & ds Cameron, Curt & Karen.

The Tigers, which is why Curt & Karen are in town outright trounced the Cubs, so I think they had a good day. Well wishes for them for the tour bus ride home, as the weather back towards Detroit doesn't look all that good.
Sounds like you guys had a GREAT time at breakfast!!!

I wanted to let you all know about a special that Mousesavers is advertising. If you go to disneyshopping.com they have Mickey luggage on sale. It's a three piece set that has a 25", 21" and duffle bag (I picked red but comes in black too) normally selling for $99 on sale for $40 plus there is a discount code for 10% more off. I needed luggage so this worked out good for me. I noticed it is made of 600 denier and has self repairing coil zippers. These are supposed to be good things so I took the plunge. I also wound up buying the mickey icon chandelier . Our house is just a little Mickey oriented
Well just thought maybe someone else is looking for luggage and this might be helpful.
My sister just bought that luggage a few weeks ago. My niece came down from VA with the large red bag. It is pretty nice stuff.

Amy..Welcome back...and the pictures of Emily look amazing...I wish my girls would do that, but they probably would tell me its for babies! LOL :rotfl2:
Oh, I bet that they would love it!!! They really make the girls look great!! And, like I said, there were other ladies there that were not "little girls". And, they seemed to be having a blast!

That was Bruce's Bday gift.....I got the girls picture done and then ordered him a mouse pad. I was playing around with it my signature pic and while I love that pic of them, I need to scan the horizontal picture so it's bigger and still within the signature guidelines.

We also got him Crocs!! And so far he's loving them!! :cool1:

Mary I am sorry to hear about Tigger :tigger:

The DISmeet sounded like it was fun :smickey:

Amy the girls look very cute :tinker:

I hope the Father's had a wonderful day:love:

That's awesome, Diana!! Actually, we didn't do anything special for Chris for Father's Day. We were SO busy with the Orlando trip, that I didn't get my gift for him finished. I'm working on a collage scrapbook frame, but I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow while he's at work. Then, I'll get the girls to make him a handmade card!!!

Ok thanks for the luggage posts, we already have the garment bag and now we will have TWO sets of red Mickey Luggae, a new Mickey License plate fram, Matching Shirt for me and dress for Coleen, AND the Mickey and Minnie at the beach snow globe. Free shipping and saved $25 off the total sale prices.

I swear you could put Mickey on a rock and I would buy it :confused3

Nice Group Pic too you all look like it was fun!

What a wonderful picture of the Illinois group's mini meet.:sunny: You know I live right here in Orlando ( not more than 10 miles from WDW) and I would love to meet some DIS folks at one of the parks, just let me know! I am also a cast member at Artist's Palate at SSR ( only part time) so if you are staying there, you can look me up! :Pinkbounc Connie:Pinkbounc

I just received a call from John (dh of #1Mouse) to let me know that he had taken Gail to the hospital. She currently is down having an ultra sound to determine if the problem is gall bladder. John is to call me tomorrow and let me know what they find out. Needless to say Gail won't be posting for a couple of days, and maybe more if she ends up having surgery. I will let you know what I hear from John.

Lots of Pixie Dust for Gail!

I can feel your pain as the woman in the bed next to my mom's in the hospital earlier in the week had suffered for almost 6 months with the pain 'cause one of the symptoms she experienced did not follow gall bladder protocol!

Speedy Recovery!

Prayers and Pixie Dust going out to Gail. Here's hoping she is better soon!
