HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKE

:bday: :cake: :bday:

Kiele says, "Hi" and she can't wait for your next email :surfweb:

I called DVC MS to make my ADR's for dining before the cruise and then I asked if I could make them for after the cruise as well. Two different resorts, confirmation numbers, check-in, etc. Well the DVC CM allowed me to make ALL of our ADR's for October.

We made a 4:30 pm ADR for LTT for 10-26-06 (hoping to get MNSSHP tickets). I wanted 5:00 PM and she said all she could get me was 4:30 at this time. She advised me to check back when the MNSSHP tickets go on sale. I am okay with 4:30 (only 30 minute difference).

We made a 6:30 pm ADR for Chef Mickey's for 10-27-06. This should be a good time prior to the Grand Gatherings Fireworks Cruise. Might be a tad early but that is okay especially if we have to wait long for a table. Plus, I want to give some time in between eating dinner and eating desserts. ;)

All my ADR's are made for October
Grand Gatherings Booked
Car Rental price went down AGAIN today

Waiting for MNSSHP tickets to go on sale
Waiting to book CC excursions
Waiting for BCV waitlists to come through

YEAH! VACATION ISN'T SOON ENOUGH! :hourglass

Thanks, rsschneck! I had used the PS calculator and marked May 1 as the date to start calling for my ADR's for after the cruise, but after I read your post I immediately called MS and voila, my dining is done! I asked again about tickets for MNSSHP and she still did not know a date. Oh well, one thing at at time.

Late-breaking news - Halloween and Christmas party dates, prices and on-sale date

From Mouseplanet.com:

Late-breaking news - Halloween and Christmas party dates, prices and on-sale date

As this update was going to press, MousePlanet has learned that there were solid but unconfirmed dates and prices for both Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Both parties will have more dates than ever before, will start earlier than ever before, and cost more than ever before.

Halloween party dates will be September 15, 22, 29, October 2, 5, 6, 10, 12, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 24, 26, 27, 30 and 31. The first two dates, earlier than ever before, are in addition to the dates that I had previously reported. Note that the Magic Kingdom schedule currently online at the Walt Disney World Web site still shows the park as closing at 9 p.m. and 8 p.m. on those nights, respectively. Discounted advance purchase pricing is $39.36 for adults and $31.90 for children. Advance purchase discounts are not available for October 27, 30 and 31. For those three nights, as well as all tickets bought the day of the event (if available), the pricing will be $45.75 per adult and $38.29 per child. Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can get an additional 10 percent discount on September 15 and 22, and October 16, 17, 23 and 24. Those additional discounts must be picked up at will-call and will require valid passholder or DVC member identification.

Christmas party dates will be November 13, 17, 27, 28, and 30, and December 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, and 21, although one source indicates that December 22 will also be a party night. The first two dates are the first time that the party has been held before Thanksgiving. Discounted advance purchase pricing is $42.55 for adults and $34.03 for children (including tax). Advance purchase discounts are not available for Friday nights in December, as well as all dates from December 18 on. For those nights, as well as all tickets bought the day of the event (if available), the pricing will be $48.94 per adult and $40.42 per child. Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can get an additional 10 percent discount on November 13, 17 and 28, and December 14. Those additional discounts must be picked up at will-call and will require valid passholder or DVC member identification.

All prices listed above include tax. Child ticket prices are for ages 3-9, adult prices for ages 10 and up.

Tickets are expected to go on sale on Monday, May 1.

Also I wanted to add one of my favorite Air finder sites. They have Jetblue and others in their search, www.kayak.com

Kayak is a great site. It essentially searches all the other air reservation sites.

OMG - we were at the bottom of page 1. Had to bump us back up.

Well, we're home from WDW. We got home last night, but I was SO tired that I only logged onto chat for a little bit, then went to bed.

Chris says thanks for all of his birthday wishes!! He had a great Earth Day Birthday at WDW. The girls got to see Jiminy Cricket and release ladybugs into the Rose garden near the castle. We had a fantastic dinner at Cape May Cafe too!!

Amy - sounds like a great trip! We got to release the lady bugs once during F&G festival. What fun!

It seems to be a quiet day today on the thread. Guess everyone is back to their work week tasks or all talked out from the weekend.

I reconfirmed today, that I dislike intensely going to Wal-marts. I don't know when this started, I use to like going to Wal-mart. I was looking for some fabric and the only places I could think of was Wal-mart and Joanne Fabrics. Joanne's is on the other side of town, so I bit the bullet and headed to Wal-mart. From the time I pulled into that parking lot I could feel the anxiety increasing. Then when I got into the store, they are remodeling so everything is in a uproar. Been so long since I had been to Wal-mart had to look around the store to find the fabric. (They didin't have what I wanted). Went back out to my car and what do I find but a work van with the extended back end parked so close to my car I had to walk around my car to get to the driver's door. :furious: I just stood there...thought about keying it, but that would have only improved the appearance, thought about pouring my diet coke in their open window, but didn't want to waste the diet coke. I just stood there trying to decide if I would be able to actually back my car out without catching my side mirror on the van. A couple of ladies stopped and commented on the parking job of the van. One lady said she would stand there and guide me out. So off I went, squeezing into my car. Finally got backed out and on my way out of the parking lot. Geez, I really didn't need any further encouraging of my dislike of Wal-marts. Guess it will proably be another year before I go there again!. Okay, I feel better now. Thanks for listening.

Gail, what was that you said about Carol being your mild mannered sister? :confused3

Glad you made it out of there safely at least.

Ahhh, a woman after my own heart, as I can't stand Walmart either. I go there for VERY specific things, otherwise I don't even drive through the parking lot. My mom even calls me when she's heading there, to ask if I need anything, since I despise it SO much!!!

I really like WalMart but only because the only times we go are either after 7am Mass on Sunday and on my way to work (going it at 7 am). So it is early morning or nothing. I would never touch the place at lunch or after work.

Ok, I'll give you that. The only time that I don't mind going to Walmart is immediately after dropping Emily off at school. It's still not my favorite place to go, but it is tolerable!!!

Don't forget, she did spend a week with me at WDW last month - I must have rubbed off on her. :rotfl:

Hey Carol - I see Wal-Mart got you all revvvvved up today. You should probably stay away from there.

The only time we go to Wal-Mart it's after midnight. I actually spend more time people watching......wondering where those people come from. The last time we were there a lady was there in her pj's and slippers. This was a large fluffy woman in her late 40's/early 50's  So, being nosey I checked out the stuff in her basket - she was there for important things like coke and chips
