Can I have another guess?? Please.....pretty please?? Come on, I'm doing all the work for the t-shirts, the least thing I can get is another guess!! :lmao: I'm guessing Chris (sanddune)!

After all the responses on creme brulee I must really be in the minority since I haven't even tried it. We have been on 3 Disney cruises (one being 14 days and I have always found something else to have for dessert). I have a feeling this members cruise I will HAVE to at least try it, being that I will be at the creme brulee lovers table. My personal favorite is the chocolate lava cake.

Carol

Hmmmm are you sure you are related to Gail??? Not even TRIED Creme Brulee

And as for trying it on this cruise, missy you better hope they can carry enough TRAYS of it for us! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

What do we win???

Coleen was pretty quick Can I guess her too?

Squid

Sure you can guess her too. Your guess would count more than mine because it is your first guess.

As for what you win? The admiration of all of us that Coleen is quick dialer!

Sure - I'll be an angel. Though, anyone that knows me will attest to the fact that I'm not exactly angelic  (No comments from you, Stacy!). There weren't any redheaded angels, though, so I'm not sure who I could be... :confused3

I would never!! (well not to your face or while you are around!) :lmao:

I had fun too!

Hey curling friends---(well, I should have said Hey Curt!) I was watching the Disney channel this morning and saw a clip of the new movie The Wild. There's a scene in it where the giraffe and lion are curling using turtles! It's so funny. Of course, I doubt most kids are going to get how funny that is. Probably most adults too!

Now that does sound funny!! We might have to check that one out in the theater. Nick would probably get it, he got a little hooked on curling after watching as many hours as possible of the Olympics!

Since Cindy shared her stories about her almost lost children, I thought I'd add mine. When my twin DD's were two, we were going through the whole "riding the potty train" thing. It was summer, so I just let them run around the house in their underwear. It made things easier if you know what I mean. Anyway, our house had a screened in front porch, with the mailbox on the outside of the screens. I would lock the door to the sidewalk so the girls could go outside and play on the porch whenever they wanted. Well, I had just taken both of them to the bathroom and was helping Rebecca get her panties back on, when her sister, Anna, ran out of the bathroom and onto the porch without her underwear. I thought, "No big deal. She can't get anywhere. However, apparently when Ken went out to get the mail, he must have forgotton to lock the screen door, because she was no where to be found. I picked up Rebecca and started walking around the neighborhood calling her name, but couldn't find her. I thought "If I have to call the police to report her missing, the first thing they'll ask is 'What is she wearing?' and I'll have to say NOTHING!" Finally I walked between our house and the neighbors and saw her across the back yard. We had a chain link fence around the yard (also locked) and she couldn't get in. I ran over there, picked her up, and took her into the house. As soon as I put her down in the kitchen, I looked out the window and saw my mother's car pulling up to the curb. She would have DIED if she had known that her granddaughter had been running around outside, unsupervised, in her birthday suit!

Oh that must have been scary!
I think I would have been mortified if anything like that had happened.
Knock on wood we haven't had an experience like that with Nick. My sister on the other hand, she was quite the escape artist when whe was little. When we lived in Yonkers she would climb out of her crib and get out of the apartment! We lived on the third floor, but one day I was outside playing with the neighbors kids and here comes a a kid bringing my sister home and all she was wearing was her diaper! :faint:

Quick question - we booked the Med on our Disney Visa and love the fact it's interest free for 6 months. Does anyone know if our subsequent payments (eg if we pay off a set amount through DU each month) will also be interest free for 6 months? I was just thinking if it was that we'd put the entire amount on the card and just pay it off monthly to Visa.

Oh and I know I can ask on the budget board but you guys are more friendly

Wow Congrats on the Med booking. I'm so jealous, Mom & Dad are debating on going but haven't made a decision yet.

I thought it was Amy, but I guess that's not right!

Was it Stacy?

No it wasn't me! I was after Amy becasue I think she snagged one of the last SPH rooms so we had to shift gears on what/were we wanted to try to get a room.

Julie, I didn't know you scrapbooked! Have you seen the Disney wedding sticker type thingys they have in Walmart? The glass slipper, the "Happily Ever After" and a few others. I got 3 packs to use in my wedding scrapbook that I'll probably never start or finish.....but the intention is there.

Also, have you seen the new Disney Catalog with all the wedding stuff??? I thought it was all awesome!

Don't you remember her at the Scrap gathering on the last cruise. She picked the grab bag that I brought! :cloud9:

It should be. We have my parents deposit for our Christmas 2007 cruise on our Disney Visa and now our Med. 2007 deposit is on it. I would say pay off the deposits and then pay another big chunk through Dreams and that should give you 6 months. Then pay the balance and that should give you another 6 months. Isn't the cruise 16 months away?

Thanks! Yep, 16 or so months away but we plan to have it paid off in full before we make excursion reservations and other items.

HA HA HA - um if Matt was reading over my shoulder instead of doing physics homework he'd be laying on the floor like this :rotfl2: . See, I think I may own almost all the Disney stickers and paper (except pooh items as I just can't get into them). I love the new wedding stickers!

The Catalog is somewhere I want to start a wedding registry - lol - if I could!

Thanks Stacy! Which cruise are they thinking of? We have joined the DIS board meet thread and also have some friends from the UK that are going so we thought it was a great adventure. It's going to be our celebration for Matt graduating from DeVry next summer.

I know it is hard to believe that someone related to Gail hasn't even tried creme brulee'. Maybe with so many creme brulee' fiends at the table this cruise, someone would be willing to just let me have a taste. That way if I don't like it :rotfl2: I won't have wasted a whole dessert. Unfortunately, my favorite is the chocolate lava cake and they only seem to offer that once (even on the 14 day cruise, it was only on the menu at the end of the cruise).

Back to getting things together for tomorrow's dinner.

Happy Easter
Carol

I just wanted to say Happy Easter to everyone now, we'll be heading out early tomorrow, so I doubt I'll have time to post.

Happy Easter!!

Carol - you are in for a treat. You see you will be at the table that manages to charm the waitstaff and the kitchen alike. We got creme brulee every night even though it wasn't on the menu. I'm sure you'll be able to have both a creme brulee to try and a lava cake. Then if you don't care for the creme brulee there will be plenty of others (like your sister) more than ready to take care of it for you!
