2006 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC06 - October 22, 2006 Part 2

I have to vote for D for the front, and F for the back. I'm just not a big fan of putting DIS alone on the front...makes me think of that word in a not so favorable term, as in disrespect. Someone not familiar with these boards may get the idea that we go around with a negative attitude, and nothing could be farther from the truth.

Here is something my DH came up tonight sticking with the boat theme. It is a combination of a few photos from last years member cruise.

I REALLY LOVE this design. The Mickey and Minnie are really cute!

Good morning everyone! Totally forgot about the Disney special. Will have to see if it is repeated this week. We watched Dancing With The Stars and were thrilled to see Drew and Cheryl win. Stopped in chat for a short while but was really beat. Feeling much better after a good nights sleep!

Have no fear if you missed the show last night!

I only saw part of it, and I still passed out during Grey's Anatomy. I have a lot of TV to catch up on today.

Thanks Diana! I'll definately catch it later this week.

And for all you Deal or No Deal fans from last time, it starts again tonight!!

....and the new Apprentice too.

I really need to stop watching so much TV!

Good morning everyone!

Mary - Chris just happened to have Picture It, so I've been working on a little something. We'll see how long it takes to get it posted. :goodvibes

What's everyone up to today? I'm off in a little bit to chaperone at Emily's field trip to Domino's Pizza. Now, let's just see how much trouble twelve 3 & 4 year olds can get into in a pizza joint. Thankfully, it's before they open to the public. :rotfl2:

Amy, have fun on the field trip. I bet the kids love seeing how pizza is made. What a cool idea. :cool1: Years ago, Cameron went on a field trip to a pizza place and all the kids made little individual pizzas. It was lots of fun.

Carabbas(spelling?) has an area specifically for kids to make their own and they'll put them in the oven with the big ones. Good food too.

It's snowing outside again this morning - I sure wish winter would just go away. I received a new DCL dvd and booklet last week in the mail - makes me want to cruise even more - time can't go by fast enough for me!

I luv all the designs so far - we have some great talent here!!!

It was a tv night for me too last night - I really like Grey's Anatomy and did forget about the Disney dessert show - I will have to catch that this week too!

DD is feeling "something different" this morning but we shall wait and see how the day goes - her "real" due date is next Tuesday so we shall see how many trips to the hospital it takes to get this baby to make an appearance! She's not going anywhere yet this morning - just wanted to call and make me anxious I guess. If there's any news, I'll jump on here and share it.

I was looking at my upcoming DVR recordings (it programs anything Disney)! The Biography Channel is airing "The Incurable Collector" on Sunday, March 5 from 7-8am. Meet George Reiger, whose home is filled with over 15,000 Disney collections.

This guy is also known as Disney Tatoo Guy

I'm back and the kids had a BLAST!! They each split a medium pizza with one other person and they got to top it on their own. Then, they took them back to school and had it for their snack. Emily had 2 pieces, so I'm sure that she's not going to eat much for lunch. I took the other 2 pieces home for Chris, since he watched Madison and worked at home while Emily and I were at Domino's.

I'm actually thinking about getting another tatoo....he's my idol! :rotfl2:

It's FREEZING here today! They just said that with the wind chill it's -15 here!! :cold: We went to the Y this morning but now are home with the heat jacked up. It's been such a mild winter, I forgot what it's like to be cold.

Amy, I'll have to check with the new Dominos that opened around the corner here pretty recently to see if they'll do a tour for our MOMS Club. I bet it would drum up some new business for them. :scratchin

Diana, how many tatoos do you have? I'm curious. In my much younger days, I serously thought about getting one or two. But I was a bit gun shy about the process.

Tell me, did it hurt? :crazy2:

I just can't imagine tatooing your entire body. Gosh, what if you changed your mind later? :charac2:

I only have 1, I got it about 8 years ago when I got divorced. My ex husband wouldn't let me get one, and it was a part of my liberation processes. It's a tribal tiger lily above my left ankle. Not too big, not too small. It didn't hurt at all really, but I've heard on your shoulder, why I want my next one will hurt. I want to get two butterflies with Emma and Julia's name under them.

I got so much slack from people when I got it. What if you have to wear a dress? What happens if you have a job interview? First of all, a lot of people have tatoos, most of them you can't see, but alot you can. And hopefully, people will judge me for the way that I am, not by the tatoo on my ankle. The first time my MIL met me, she said hello and then she said, now what in the world ever possesed you to get a tatoo. I said, Hi, nice to meet you too, you see I'm into this cult where we sacrifice animals and getting a tatoo was part of it. :lmao: I mean, seriously! We haven't gotten along too well since!

I can see regretting getting tatoos all over your body, but for me, I don't even think about it being there until someone points it out. To me, it's just a part of my body now.

Do you wear leather and ride motorcycles too? :rotfl2:

Ok, ok, I don't know about ALL over (I didn't ask about his "privates"). But, he did hike his shorts up a little more than I wanted to see to show Chris something. He is a bizarre man!!!
