Amy - as our most recent cruiser I have a question for you. Someone on the main board said they were on the 2/11 cruise and got a coupon book as a Castaway Club member that offered a free drink, free game of bingo and some other offers. Did you guys get one on your cruise?

Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say hello - been very busy as usual.

Karen - I do not scrapbook altho I do enjoy looking at the wonderful work of others! I don't have the patience or talent to do it - or maybe, I'm just plain lazy! :scratchin

Yes, we did! It had all kinds of coupons in it. A coupon for a free stock photo from Shutters, an extra $50 onboard credit for any bookings onboard, etc. The interesting thing though, was that it said right on each coupon that it was only valid for the Valentine's 2006 cruise. So, I don't know if they only did it for our cruises, or whether they will do them for special cruises in the future, or what???? It was nice. We took advantage of a few of the coupons.

For all you curling fans---curling is on CNBC right now!! I have a confession to make---I LOVE CURLING! Up until a few years ago, I swear I was the only fan of curling in the US, I used to watch it on Canadian CTV, but now it's gaining popularity. I heard on the news tonight even George Bush was watching it today. :rolleyes2 I even looking into joining a curling club---but it's about as expensive as joining a country club and I'd like to join a country club more..... :rotfl2:

You're not alone. It's about the only part of the Olympics I've actually watched at length. I don't know what it is about the sport, but it's addicting.

:cool1: :cool1:  The non-nappers and I just saw a coyote walking down the middle of our street. Unbelieveable!!!

Keep in mind, we live in the suburbs with no forest preserve area for miles around us. Where on earth did this come from? :confused3

It was just strolling down the middle of the street.

Guess our dog is staying in the house this afternoon. paw:

OMG, Cindy!!! That is really bizarre!!! Yes, I would keep the dog inside! YIKES!!!

Belated Happy Birthday wishes going out.

Non scrapper here. I was wondering if I were the only non here too.

We have the coyote appearing every now and then. I've got a little dog and a little bit bigger little dog and worry too. (miniature pinscher and a pug)

Curling, that is cute! We were just talking of it a lunch admittedly about watching it. On board shuffleboard olympics I can see the future gaming opportunity.

Could it be???

DD's doctor sent her to the hospital tonight - would be a blessing if the "little one" came 2 weeks early - they're estimating the baby to be 8lbs!!!

I will update if and when there's any news.

Mary - we'll keep you and your DD in our prayers. Here's hoping the little (ok not so little) bundle of joy comes tonight and is healthy and happy.

Mary, I hope you have a grandbaby soon. I'm sure your daughter will be happy to move on from pregnancy. Hope all is well. pixiedust:

Happy Belated Birthday Erin!

Happy Birthday Judy!

Karen - wonderful wonderful wonderful to see you back here. Don't worry about missing anything, DVC is keeping us in suspense. Oh, Amy did mention that on her Valentines Day cruise she ran into Ducky Williams who mentioned he's free during the DVC cruise, so some of us (ok I did) emailed member services to request him.

Not much exciting going on here... just freezing in Texas.

Good morning everyone! Sending out good vibes for Mary and her DD.

Morning :sunny: Beautiful weather around here. Very mild, unlike late February. :teeth:

Mary, hope all is well with your DD & grandbaby. pixiedust:

Good morning everyone! It's nice to hear that it's mild up north. It's a beautiful day here in central FL. Is anyone from our group down here now? If not, that's a shame, because it's in the upper 70s all week. After those 50s two weeks ago, we were all looking for nicer weather here. I'm sure that the tourists didn't think that they were in the Sunshine State during that cold snap. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Have to go to the dentist today, but luckily just for a cleaning. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

No baby yet - dd is back home resting but the dr assured dd and her dh that all is progressing - they did an ultrasound and had her on a monitor for a few hours and told her she could go home and rest - the baby may make an appearance soon but it wasn't to be last night. So much for the excitement around here last night.

Mary - glad to hear your DD is home and resting. Guess the baby just wasn't ready yet. Probably because they don't know what fun you have planned! Otherwise that baby would be making an appearance quicker than you can say DISNEY!
