We haven't been the the Nature Center. I don't know where or what that is. Do you happen to have a name of it? It sounds like something my kids would enjoy -- okay, Gary too.

I agree with your thought that the bikes are probably better maintained with a rental company than with Disney. We've had a few that had seen better days. And, that one trip, I was definately jinxed with the bikes they kept giving me. I had problems even with the replacement. Definately let me know who you use and how that goes. I hope it's positive and then I'll book rentals through them for July. :thumbsup2

I will definately be interested in hearing out your dolphin cruise. I think we're pretty comfortable using Scott, but it's always good to know the scoop.

We've never been into the City of Savannah. Tybee Island and Fort Pulaski is about as far as we got. Usually we run out of time or just don't make time
to get there. We're always so busy doing nothing at DVC. :teeth:

It is the sea pines nature center. We will check it out on the way to The Salty Dog.

I will let you know about the bikes when we return.

We are flying into Savannah and staying near the airport. So, before we head to the resort we are going to sight see around town.

We did Savannah one year when we were at HH. It's a beautiful city. We did the Old Town Trolley, which lets you get off and on at will. It is definitely worth making the time to get over there.

pixiedust: :cake: Happy Birthday Erin!! :cake: pixiedust:

Hope everyone is having a good day. I'm in luck and have the day off. Did some grocery shopping, stopped at Michaels, and got my hair cut and it's only 1:30 so I still have the rest of the day to scrapbook! Yea!

For all you curling fans---curling is on CNBC right now!! I have a confession to make---I LOVE CURLING! Up until a few years ago, I swear I was the only fan of curling in the US, I used to watch it on Canadian CTV, but now it's gaining popularity. I heard on the news tonight even George Bush was watching it today. :rolleyes2 I even looking into joining a curling club---but it's about as expensive as joining a country club and I'd like to join a country club more..... :rotfl2:

Thanks for the heads up Diana - just may go turn it on.

BTW - congrats on meeting your exercise goal. Great job!

I never really heard of curling until Chris spent almost a year working in Toronto. It's on TV up there all the time. Anyway, it's a very interesting sport, that's for sure.

But Diana, I have to tell you that if you move to FL, you won't find any curling here. :rotfl2:

Well, I have Chris on his way to Home Depot for supplies for home projects. Behr paint at HD has a $5 rebate per gallon ($20 on 5-gallon buckets). We need to paint the exterior of our house, and, I've decided to paint our family room (which is currently dark real-wood paneling) and our dining room (this will be the 3rd try on the dining room color). So, we'll be keeping ourselves busy with painting projects for a while.

Happy Birthday Erin

I am working the 'bulance today. Tomorrow when I get home I have to go to work out, allergy shots,Menards, Michaels,Office Max and grocery store. Then home to work on my 2005 book.

I may get much computer time in sounds like! :rotfl2:

Thanks, Mary! I really didn't think it would be that easy for me, guess I need to set a higher goal.

Amy, now I can't move to FL!! I don't think I'd be able to live without curling! :lmao: Well.....maybe if it's not 10 degrees out, I'll manage somehow....

Thank you everyone for the Birthday Wishes...

I had a great day ... Spent time with DS today. He "took" me to lunch and then we went and did some shopping!!!!!! I bought a new toilet for my birthday..... We are redoing out half bath and laundry room. I could not commit to the new Washer and Dryer though. Maybe by July there will be another great sale!!!!!

Back to work tomorrow... :crazy2:

Have a great short week everyone!

You'll just have to master, oh, I don't know, maybe Beach Volleyball!?!?!?!? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Or, maybe the Minnie/Mickey shuffle?!?!?!? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hello, Friends - Remember me? :wave2:

It has been far too long since I've stopped in! First I was feeling sad. Then it's because I was busy. Then it was because I was sick. Then we were in WDW. And now it's two months later! How the bugger did THAT happen??!!?? :confused3

Before I go any further with this post, I want to thank all of you for your kind words and friendship when I needed them most. Although I haven't been on the Boards, Curt has been in-and-out of here, and he read to me all the wonderful things that everyone said. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

And thank you for all of the anniversary wishes!!! It wasn't the greatest trip we've ever taken, but, hey - it was our anniversary, and we were in Disney World. Couldn't exactly call that a bad time! :flower1:

I have not been brave enough to read back through all of the posts. :scared: If somebody could let me know if anything major happened, I'd appreciate it.

Am I the only person who doesn't scrapbook here? I feel so left out! :(

Happy Belated Everything to all those that I neglected! party:

I truly hope that this finds everyone happy and well!!! pixiedust: (And I promise not to let two months go by again!)

Karen

Karen - how nice to see you posting on the thread! We all need breaks from time to time so don't feel bad for taking one.

My mind is filled with things from our May cruise coming up so I can't remember if there is anything major that has been discussed. Hopefully someone else will help me remember.

Hi Karen

I can't recall anything major coming up on the thread either.

We talked about the circle journal for the last cruise (I'm a beginner scrapbooker -- if we do one again after SSMC06, don't feel like you can't join in because you haven't had a lot of experience -- I know it's intimidating at first but I'm thinking it's going to be easier the more I do).

Other than that, there have been a lot of birthdays lately, some vacations and I think just general get to know each other type things. :cool2:

Welcome back Karen!!

We'll inspire you on the cruise with all our circle journals to start scrapbooking, then you can play in the CJ for SSMC06 with us!
