Mary thanks for bringing up the dues. We haven't received our statement yet. But we are staying at the GCH next week. So, I had to pay our dues today! YUK! Oh well, more air miles and one less bill to try to remember. I was just hoping to wait until the end of the month so the charge would appear on our NEXT Visa statement.

Do I win for the first DVC/DISer to pay their 2006 dues?

Got our dues statement today in the mail. Atleast they were kind enough not to deliver me a bill on my birthday

While playing with my ipod tonight I had a thought about who I would like to see DVC bring on the cruise for one of our entertainment options.

I won't be in chat tonight unless it runs late. Gary's having Walker's Adventure Guides over tonight so I'm going out. I have enough with kids here all day long, I don't need to supervise for this group. I'll leave that fun up to Gary.

Me too! Although I'd be happy with just Wayne Brady on the ship. I love him. And miss his talk show terribly!

I didn't get to see his talk show as much as I would have liked (dang work!)
But I love watching him on Whose Line! I don't know how he comes up with those songs sometimes. It's a gift.

No dues statement here in TX either - but that's ok with me as then I don't have to worry yet about that bill.

Not sure if I will be in chat tonight or not, we leave for Jamaica on Wed am and I am having guests for drinks on Sat. so I have to clean!

So, how was chat last night?

I ended up going out to dinner with a friend. Something we've tried to do in the past and could never arrange. Last night was one of those, hey, want to go to dinner, and she said, yeah, it works for me. Sometimes, the less planning the better.

We went to a fabulous Mexican restaurant that had margaritas on special. They were really potent and today I feel a little like this...

My treat for today is taking Walker to a birthday party -- at Chuck E Cheeses no less. I avoid that place as much as possible during the weekend -- weekends are even worse. It's going to be a long couple of hours.

Hey, Diana, are you playing around with the smilies again? They look all mixes up this morning. Some have never been on the initial page begore --- like this, , and this, . Kind of nice to see some new "faces".

Chat was fun but we missed you two!

There were about 9 2/11 cruisers in room two. We stayed in regular chat until about 8:30 and then Stacy, Amy and I moved to Room 3. Stacy went back to get Eeyore but she was gone by then. Mary (iluvdisney) joined us for a while. I left about 9 pm.

Added the first official DVC email, finally. Been very busy with work and what should have been a routine boiler inspection but has become anything but. Worked long the latter half of the week and probably going to be there for the entire day tomorrow, too.

Could you imagine Margaritas at Chuck E's! They would have to limit how long a family could stay!

We went bowling today with Cub Scouts. They bowling alley had a seperate room in the back for kids were they have the music going and the black lights. The kids had a ball. I on the other hand was a little rusty and Jeff hurt his arm.

Chat was good. Unfortunatley I was a little tired (yucky week at work) so I was only there for I think a little over an hour. There were alot of people on last night. It was pretty cool!

Chuck E Cheeses was LONG. Three hours we spent there. It became more than a birthday party when Cameron put his coat on and was ready to go with us? Huh? Cameron, you weren't invited. So, he tells me, that's okay Mom, they have games there and I would like to play them. So, I took both kids and we spent the afternoon there.

The kids had fun, I guess that's what counts the most. But, man, it was wall to wall people there by the time we left. And, these best part!! I only spent $5 in tokens as I had a stash of them around the house from taking my daycare there in the past. Hey, a cheap outing for us!!

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a good Saturday! Mine was busy. Hair cut/highlights this morning and a birthday party across the street this afternoon. The girls are in bed now, and I'm exhausted. The house is a mess, but I have NO desire to clean it up tonight.

Emily has a birthday party tomorrow afternoon too at a local gymnastics place, so that should be fun!!

And, we're on to round 4 for our countertops. They are supposed to be back first thing Monday morning to finish it!! Please, please, please, I sure hope that they do finish! I'm over having my kitchen/family room in chaos over this.

I have a Disney Visa question. How do I qualify for the 6-month charge delay (or maybe I just don't know what I'm talking about)? I charged our cruise to my Disney Visa and the bill arrived today. I don't use this charge very often and I have no idea about the benefits associated with it. I got it just because it is Disney. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nanajoy - I know someone called and had it switched. Can't remember who it was. I think they had to call customer service to get it activated.

Boy, am I stupid. I went back many pages on here and found the posts about the Disney Visa. I misunderstood what the offer was re DCL. I thought I would not be billed for 6 months(I don't know why I thought this). Apparently the offer is 0% interest for 6 months. I will call Customer Service on Monday.
