Stacy! I wanted to thank you for the call yesterday. What a nice way to brighten my night. Sorry I cut it short -- daycare meeting called. Fortunately, Walker didn't cry when I walked out, but he did stay up waiting for me to get home until almost 10 p.m. And, today was a school day -- but no fear, he was up at 6.

I'm glad Cameron & Nick had a chance to catch up too! Cameron's eyes lite up when I told him Nick was planning on parasailing!!

I'm glad Walker didn't cry. It just tugs at a mom's heart when kids do that.

Nick was excited that he go to talk to Cameron, expecially when he said he could send emails again he went right to the computer and kept checking to see if he got a new message!

Well, I've learned something new today, thanks to Cheryl, Robin and David. I do think that it's interesting to learn other customs. Chris is really into it too. When he served in Iraq during the first Gulf War, he spent a LOT of time in the religion tent learning about Muslims. He thought it was quite interesting. He even has a Qur'an. Actually, he just corrected me, he has 2 Qur'ans.

Hamentashen are not the only traditional delight on Purim. Many Jews with Russian and Polish backgrounds also break out latkes (which are most well known for Channukah). In Israel it is customary to also have fried mini-donuts as well on Purim.

One thing to consider on the front design and that is that it can be used on other things than just the shirt. For example when I asked Diana to include the baseball cap option yesterday I was thinking of the front design being used on that. So having the date in there would be nice. Just my two cents.

Mary - Good point. I honestly didn't think about that. And I'm not terribly hung-up on the date thing, it was mostly just an observation.

Here's a question for everyone, totally not cruise related.....it's about the Easter Bunny. Does the bunny bring toys in your kids baskets along with the candy or just a whole basket of candy?

I always got candy and a stuffed animal. The Easter Bunny still makes up a basket for Curt every year. A couple of years ago, the Easter Bunny found a police car Easter basket. Needless to say, Officer Dennis was thrilled with the basket!

Congratulations to those that booked a Med cruise! We really wanted to do a 10 night, but it's just too expensive for us right now.

Here's a picture for Mark. It's not unusual for us to get snow into April. This is what we woke up to this morning. I'm guessing it should be gone in the next day or so. The sad part is, this time last week, I was laying by the pool at SSR soaking up the sun!

Crazy! We had a few flurries on Tuesday, but nothing stuck. Thank goodness we're 45 minutes south of you!

Thanks for your suggestions for the b-day gift we need to buy. Went to Toys R Us yesterday and was underwhelmed. Going to stop by WalMart on the way into work. It usually isn't crazy at that hour of the morning.

They could close this one and it would be no great loss. It had been 3-4 years since I was last in it and I remembered it being a much better organized store. There seemed to be a lot of empty places on the shelves last night and the store just had a dark feel to it.

Not that we didn't spend money last night. We stopped at TRU after shopping for a brand new washer and dryer. Since our current ones came with the house when we bought it 16 years ago (and had been used by the family we bought from for a few years before that) it was more than time.

Not to rub it in, but it was gorgeous here yesterday afternoon. I picked the kids up at school and we went to the park. I am looking for more and more days like these!

Has anyone had a baby who was petrified of a baby swing? I have this little guy -- he's almost 18 months. A tough little cookie who gets himself into trouble with his antics -- always climbing on things. One day, found him on top of the daycare table, dancing away! But, yesterday was the 2nd time I tried to put him in the swing at the park. Normally, my babies love to get pushed in the swing. I got the same reaction from his both times. Stiff legs going in, instant tears and crying. I want him to be comfortable and enjoy being at the park like the other kids. So, I got him into the swing and then I held him next to me, without pushing him, just so he could feel my comfort and hopefully feel secure himself. It didn't work. He continued to cry and be frightened. When I took him out, I put him in the stroller to sit, and he was more than content to do just that. It wasn't like he wanted to run around and play on the other things, he just didn't want to be in the swing. I asked his Dad when he picked up and he said last year, he loved the swing? I'm really perplexed as I've never seen this before. Has anyone else?

I'm with you Cindy! Both of my girls LOVE the swing. Once they get on, they don't want to get down. And Emily is big enough for a regular swing, and knows how to pump her legs, so she doesn't even need mom and dad to push, except for the initial push to get her going.

I would say keep trying with the little guy. Maybe it'll just take some time to get him used to it again. I sure hope so, because babies really do like swings, usually.
