Yup my official booking post was #2000.

Ya know, when I started the t-shirt voting I asked him again if he wanted to post. He looked at the screen said which one he liked and told me he doesn't need to post, I post enough for the whole entire family. Then he went back to watching whateve History Channel show he was watching. My husband is a geek.

The History Channel?? I'm sending Gary, Cameron & Walker over to watch with him.

Thanks, I didn't think I could sleep through all of it. It's quite calm now, but the winds are suppose to kick up and bring in a cold front with snow showers - yuck!

There is NO way you could have slept through all of them. They were definately "April Showers".

It's still raining here, but nothing like last night.

Tina, I was really apprehensive last cruise having never sailed before. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I have no doubt that you won't be bored. There were a couple of nights my youngest fell asleep and my DH stayed with him in the room. I went to a show with some friends I met on this thread. Another night, I went up to Shutters and ran into other friends. The nice thing about meeting people online and at a pre-cruise meet is that you have a face that looks familiar on that big ship. Mark & Mary have done pins in the past (and will again this cruise) which everyone wears along with our lanyards. It's an easy way to spot another DIS'er. And, those conversations can be anywhere from a quick "hi" to as long as it turns out to be.

Snow? in April? Is that as unusual by you as it would be here? It's been light rain from the north here all morning, nothing more.

We've been know to get snow in May in these parts. I remember one year we opened the pool and that week we got a couple of inches of snow. It was the weirdest think watching the snow fall into the water.

Gail - there were a few thunderstorms around here at midnight - I actually fell asleep listening to the "angels bowling".

Please, if at all possible, don't let the Michigan meet be when I'm gone to WDW in May - I'll be gone May 17-25. And I would really like to meet up with everyone again. Might even make my way out to Chicago this summer if time allows.

My mother in law lives in Downers Grove --- her property backs up to Woodridge between 75th & 83rd Streets. That's where Gary grew up. Both Gary's brother & sister-in-law are letter carrier in Woodridge. Hey, maybe they deliver your mail!

Maybe they do...I'm not sure who delivers the mail, as we are never home when they do deliver it!! LOL I'm not too far from 75th and 83rd...I'm rte 53 and 63(Hobson). So were practically neighbors with your MIL.

I haven't heard anyone mention they were staying at HH afterwards, but Julie (chipscinderelly) and Matt are a young couple who will be cruising with us!

Not unusual at all for here! Last year we had a snowfall on April 24. It was enough to cancel Deanna's 1st soccer game of the season. Heavy wet snow, sleet. Of course it was gone within a couple of days. In April we have been know to have really cool ice storms - well, cool if you are lucky enough to be one of the people with power!

Yea You and your daughters will have a great time! If you don't hear about your waitlist for early dining, check when you get on the ship. They might be able to accomadate you. Best part is - you're on the ship!

Snow flurries by us when I left at 8:45 to take the boys to school.

Haven't we been whallopped with April snow storms in the past? I remember one where I spent the night in the airport coming home from WDW --- hey, it was probably MCO now that I think about it!!

Cindy and I are both from the Chicago area (she's in Schaumburg and I'm in Morton Grove). We'll have to have a mini-meet sometime this summer. Then we can show you our scrapbooks and tell you all about the cruise. If you don't mind meeting some crazy people from the internet.

I think that it may have been me! I know that I posted once that Diana doesn't bite, and joked that maybe she just didn't bite hard. Then, it just kinda stuck!! Kinda like me and Switzerland and Curt and cheating.
