I guess I am just a coffee infidel. I'll drink whatever is in the pot. I am not much into mohca this and latte that ...expresso ect. Now Lee is a different story, but hey it's her money.

I'll take coffee anyway. I just re-discovered coffee with chickory. As a kid, my family would drink it. Now, whenever I can get my ahnds on a can of Cafe Du Monde's coffee with chickory I'm in heaven

Bob, I too will drink what ever is in the pot, but do enjoy the different counrty coffee. Heck I think the coffee on deck 9 coffee station is ok. Works in the early AM for a walk about the deck after a run.

Jen, the coffee is strong at the Cafe Du Monde, and the doughnut are too hot to touch, but just like a fool when those sweet goodies cool, I eat till I eat way too much.

Back home and it is 26 degrees. I want to go back to the Islands. We do have our Feb trip. I can make it that long before Cabin Fever sets in.

Coffee anyone? It's gingerbread latte season again! Although my SB in the mall ranout of it on Saturday. Blasphemy! And so early in the season, too. Doesn't bode well for Black Friday, though that line is so long...don't want to think about it!

Maybe I will save my Disney Dream Rewards dollars for coffee on the cruise That would buy a lot of coffee!

Scott, how far do you run when on the ship? Do you run down on deck, or do you use the tread mills in the spa? DH says he wants to keep up his routine, which includes a 3 mi. run almost every day, but he's never run on the ship before. Just curious about your recommendations.

Coffee: mmmmmmm! LOVE the SB egg nog lattes! Haven't had one yet this season, battling the ending (I HOPE!) stages of bronchitis, so I have cut back on my dairy products until I can totally get rid of the congetstion.

We are total coffee snobs at home, we actually order our coffee direct from the grower in Kona, HI. Greenwell Farms is the BEST! But on the ship, I'm a bit of a cheapskate. I'd rather spend my $$ on wine.

This trip may be different though. My parents will be cruising with us and they grow wine grapes - sauvignon blanc and syrah. Because they are very involved in the wine industry in Sonoma County, we will very likely be brining several bottles on board with us. But we will also hope for tasting some wines from the ship.

YUM sauvignon blanc is my favorite! I love Mondavi Fume Blanc...although I haven't had wine in the longest time...I need to clean out the wine fridge before it turns to vinegar...one wine party coming up!

I will have to bring on board a bottle or two. I'm out of Dom...been out of that for a year or two rather pricey wouldn't you say?

Scott, you'll love this, there's a place in Sarasota called The Bayou Bleu. They serve beingets and coffee from Cafe Du Monde. Jeff says it's not the same but a close second...

I love Beringer's Chenin Blanc as well....

I run on Deck 4 early in the AM nice and cool, then watch the Sunrise and have some deck 9 coffee, then bring Lynn Juice and a pastry. Only run 1.5 -2 miles. Do a walk with Lynn later in the morning after she is awake.

Jen sounds like a good place will have to check it out.

Yes I caught that one-"The Wino and I Know". It took a while.
Also if you are quizzing about 'I want to go back to the Islands' that would be "One Particular Habour" and 'Cabin Fever' would be "Boat Drinks"! You're taxing my memory!
BTW, they don't serve doughnuts at the Cafe Du Monde, they serve Beignets.

Also, Lee says, "See, there's nothing wrong with you bringing me back breakfast, Scott does it for Lynn"! See what you started!

Hygiene I bought some gingerbread and peppermint last year. Only problem is it requires you to make the coffee or espresso yourself! That only happens on rare occasions...

We have an espresso machine in our office. I am addicted also! There is also a Starbucks right across the street, but I try & stay away, the $ adds up quick! I love the pumpkin spice! Just thinking that for this trip, the further we get south, the more likely it is that DH will want to use the treadmills instead. Going to get hot, I think...even in the early a.m.

One lap is a little over a Quarter Mile. I think 4 laps is about 1.28.
