Jindy- My mother in law will also be with us! She has gone with us the last two times & she loves it. I gotta watch her & BINGO though:p Your mom will love it. By the way, last time, she brought her blender and made a lot of her own Margaritas! heeheehee Now shes a lush!

I loved the rainforest! My hubby & I don't usually do things like that, but we decided to try it and had a lot of fun & very relaxing!

Well, hope everyone has a great weekend! The Implant surgeon in our office gave me tickets to a hockey game to see the Florida Everblades. I have never been so I am a little excited. His seats are right by the plexiglass where the players fight & get there faces smooshed up aganist!!!!!WOOHOO:earseek: :teeth: :hyper:

Kim

Kim, not the best seats for someone whose never been, but you'll still enjoy it a LOT.

I think the rainforest is going to be a hopping place on this cruise ;)

Let’s see...... dental implant surgeon and hockey players, yep.. I see the correlation, comp tickets I bet.

I was thinking the same thing, but I wasn't about to jump to that conclusion. :)

Scott, have you any ideas on where we'll be diving on this cruise? Wondering what we can start looking at.

Curacao for sure, Pacific side will be up in the air, colder with less vis, but need some research, might be a good time for whale migration, the sea lions are always cool. They blow bubbles at you. It is a defense technique thing.

I really wish DCL would tell us who the dive operators are going to be so we can find out about them. i.e. dive boats, dive sites, types of rental gear, etc. I think I need to be contracted to explore these options for DCL.

Curacao, my guess the dive operator would be Habitat, and the dive sites will be south of the port.

Kim, your mom and I will get along great. In Costa Maya, we had the greatest maragritas. The juice was fresh squeezed and the tequila perfect....
I hope the rainforest passes are stilll a good deal on the 14 day. On the 7 it's one of the cheaper things you can do.

The Cove Cafe is a great place to hide too. They also have a bunch of board games and stuff in there.....

Ok, before I pass out from too much food and sangria...

I'm all for the board games. I want to play twister on board this time. No idea where, but want to play it! I wonder if there is a drinking game version of twister? If there is I think we'll all wind up in the infirmary. ...........

Yes I'm a lush! There is nothing better in this world to me than good food, good drink, good friends and good times. this cruise will be providing all of that.

Put me in for the drinking version of twister! Yes there is nothing better than the good drink and good food!

BTW Scott, my weeks for the cruise are finally confirmed! Lee can always schedule her vacation about any time, but me I have to deal with that seniority thing.

Ok so I'm not the only one sick enough to playing a drinking game version of Twister on a boat. Cool
The version I've heard of involoves making each color/ appendage a different drink. So Right hand Blue might tequila but Right hand red might be vodka.....

Bob, that has to be a good feeling, with the time off confirmed.

Drinking Twister, could be funny and dangerous all at the same time.

If *THAT* doesn't get picked up and issued to you by the tag fairies, nothing ever will.

Count me in on "Drinking" anything; Twister, Dodgeball, Freeze Tag - whatever. Just don't get mad at me when I call a time out for a potty break! :drinking1 All that beer has to go somewhere.... :rotfl:

Hope all had a good weekend, it was snowy, rainy, and cold here. People wonder why we want to move to FL. Gotta get the snow blower ready for winter today.

I used to do a reading of the Robert Service poem "Cremation of Sam McGee" and thought I would never be that cold. How wrong I was.

We will be able to get warm again in a couple of week.

Hey we are under the 200 day mark. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I feel so bad for you Scott and Lynn! We are not that bad here yet. High in the 50's low in the low 40's, but we are due that 4 letter word "snow" soon enough. Actually this is the most beautiful time of the year here. The trees are vibrant with color.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Robin

Our fall colors are all gone, actually I remember doing a training dive for Grand Teton National Park one weekend before Thanksgiving, and wearing shorts and a T shirt before getting into my dry suit. Then I also remember doing a dive, work related, the day before Christmas when it was -22. That was cold.

It was cold here this morning. I actually had to wear a sweatshirt instead of just my scrub top leaving work this morning... brrrr

Burrr..... be careful you could get frostbite or hypothermia.

(actually most cases of Hypothermia occur in temps above 32F)

Hmmm...

Don't really remember the whole fall colors and changing of the seasons much since moving to AZ (of course being in central CA before that was not a whole lot different)

DD who just turned 6 has just one Christmas wish - she wants to see snow falling from the sky.
We try to make a trip or two to the snow every year - but I guess she's never seen it actually snowing.

Our air conditioner kicked on this afternoon here.... and I have it set at 80

:sunny:

Fall colors are nice, however Arizona has a beauty all it's own. By this time next year, hopefully I will be having my air conditioner going on, instead of fighting the urge to turn on the heat.

Hey Peter, remember a while ago when you were going into the city for the musical? You were inquiring about a good place to go eat. Where did you end up eating? How was it? I got tickets for a show in December, and my DD really wanted to eat at the Rainbow Grill. Unfortunately that is not going to happen at $50 to $70 per person not including drinks and tips! It would be nice though to be 56 stories up above the city. Anyone else have any suggestions that are not quite so pricey? Somewhere somewhat close to the theatre district?

Has anyone else noticed that there are just a handfull of us diehard posters that keep posting as opposed to the 50 + DISer's that are joining us on this cruise? I guess that I have no life:yo-yo:

Robin

I finally broke down and turned the heat on today. It fell below 60 in the house and the doggies were shakin away even with their sweaters on.

No rest for the weary tonight. Just got home from the store--everyone check out their local Disney Store this week. Lots of cool new Incredibles stuff. Get it before it's gone, I don't look forward to December when we're running out of stuff. If the sales of stuff to date is any clue the movie will be a big hit. Kids love the stuff!

Now I have to work on my presentation for next week...no sleep tonight! 10 days to California, even if it is for work! :)

Robin, take your daughter to Jekyl and Hyde/ Eeire Club on the Ave of Americas. She'll love it. And for lunch the prices arre reasonable (for NYC anyhow)
