Peter looks like he'd be quite happy with 6 days of nothing...I on the other hand would not, unless I could stay drunk.
Now there's an interesting idea. :drinking1 Never done that before.

Okay, so maybe I should clarify. I walked the six miles- but I do walk them at a 4 MPH pace, which is what some people run. I have been trying to walk 3 minutes at 3.7 MPH and run 2 minutes at 5 MPH and repeat this interval u(but didn't do that today due to pain in my ankles). I am starting to "train" for the Chicago Distance Classic in August as it is now 18 weeks away. I minimally walk 4 miles every time I walk and I am increasing my length for my long walks by 10% each week- which will actually have me upto 10.75 miles before I do the half marathon in Salt Lake. I started with 5 miles two weeks ago. I am hoping to increase my speed over time and increase my indurance so I will be able to run for longer intervals. I am kind of lazy because I don't want to over do it because of my knee problems and asthma...but I'm getting there.

Bob- how's your mileage? Steve? Scott-did you every start tracking it?

Back to the homework...

OK OK will be calling DVC in the AM , May 07 repo here we come. I called DCL today and May repo has a lot of availability, other Med cruises and the return are selling out. I think it is a May and kids in school thing.

We will cut our Tanzania trip short by about a week and not make the journey to the Selous. Next time for sure.

Bob, our pups have been doing their own version of yard work, digging for voles and field mice, a serious excavation project. They could have helped Peter on the Big Dig.

Titanic bow section is at 49° 56’ 49” W 41°43’57”N, stern is at 49° 56’ 54” W 41°43’35”N, and the debris field is at 49° 56’ 49” W 41°43’32”N, at a depth of about 12,600 feet.

Will have to get the Blue Charts for the Atlantic and Europe.

Palm Sunday and the stores have Hot Cross Buns.

Good going Celeste, no running yet for me but have been walking, with my arm in a sling and swath. That cuts down on the jarring. PT is going well, sleep still eludes me, tried lunesta, just confirmed I was tired and had a sore shoulder.

 :cheer2: YAY!!! :cheer2:

I just knew if we threw out some GPS cooridinates it would tempt you!

And we will be going to the Canaries and Gibraltar which is close to Africa....which is where Tanzania is :)

I am a bit puzzled by the Titanic references.. but I am sure you will chart it out and explain it to those that have no clue LOL

Cash and I did a mile this morning.....we're starting to train for the Deck 4 lounge chairs....No beached whale here...Got a year to become a porpoise...

or a banana...

Robb is pretty habitual about getting up at 3:30am- and the doc told him to try lunesta- didn't work for him either. He still wakes up.

Hey Scott- I thought I saw something in the 11 night newsletter that implied that you worked/lived in Lake Geneva Swit- not Lake Geneva, Wi- which is correct?

Georgie- my husband came home from NY today and brought me black & white cookies made in NJ! Love those things!

I got my Masters from George Williams College, their field Station was at Williams Bay on Lake Geneva, WI. Later I worked for the United Nation International School, at a field station in CT.

Hi guys!

Scott,
If Lunesta didn't work for you have you tried ambienCR? It works great for me and doesn't leave me with that nasty chemical taste all day... Just a thought...

We haven't decided yet what to do, but the May repo starts looking better because of the lower price and availability. I guess if the med isn't going where we want it to, then let's do the repo and try to get to Catania on another cruise line, or catch a repo coming home right away... it could happen.....

gotta go hit the hay, busy day scrappin and seeing the Dr. tomorrow... he..yaw!!! grumble...grumble...yawn

Hey, I know about waking up at 3:30am! :rotfl2:

Celeste, you asked about my mileage. I'm at 745 but most of that is by bike and again, I leave the pedometer on all day. We're taking Emma to her first amusement park next weekend and maybe zoo or aquarium. Hopefully I can get some good miles in then! Or at least enough to offset all the bad eating I do when away from home!

No news. Nothing for sure in the near future.
"Some people claim,
that there's a woman to blame,
but I know,
it's my own darn fault"

Meaning, Lee would sign-up tomorrow, but there are other considerations.

Keith and I will be here too!! But I'm OK with that.....6 days at sea sounds awesome, but 6 days in Alaska sounds great too. Just gotta plan.....

I read about Bridezilla last night and cracked up, but I was on the phone and needed to concentrate!! You bad!!

Btw, Leslie!!! I was shopping the other day and saw more of those awesome hats like you had on PC day. If you need anymore, let me know!!! Maybe the whole bridal party would like one..... :thumbsup2

Ron and I will be home, too, missing you all. It just isn't working out for us.
