We are starting to feel better, but still have sinus thing, DD has a cough and DH still has sore throat! Yes, I agree with the whole work thing. It is really interfering with life!![]()

Think about it. Starting at 9:00am, subtracting the 3 times that we turned back the clocks, it makes it 6:00am. Now set the clock ahead 3 hours and you end up at 12:00pm. That's a six hour difference.
Makes all those tuition payments worthwhile.![]()

With the two Panama Canal cruises going in different directions, we figured out that due to the time changes, there would be a difference in
the amount of time on the ship. Additionally, the Westbound cruise has one more stop than the Eastbound cruise. It got me thinking about what the real difference was. So I did the math!
Adjusting for the time change differences, we will both be on the cruise for 13 24-hour periods or 312 hours. Here are the differences:
Westbound: 8 hours (day 1) + 11.5 hours (day 14) + 312 hours = 331.50 hours
Eastbound: 5 hours (day 1) + 7.5 hours (day 14) + 312 hours = 324.50 hours
Our cruise is 7 hours less than the Westbound.
What about excursions? The Westbound cruise will have 44.75 hours onshore, while the Eastbound cruise will have 50 hours onshore. The grand total is that we will be aboard the Magic a total of 12.25 hours less than the Westbound cruise.

If its all the same to you, I'll stick to DD's numbers.Much simpler and less convoluted.

I do know about the incident regarding Que. I thought that it had been resolved. I hope that he did accept a position elsewhere, but if he was let go as a result of what occurred, it wouldn't be a surprise.

I haven't been on the general cruise thread, so I had not heard that about Q. I hope it's not true! He was the best!!!!

Anyone in the know ... I read in a different thread that Que is gone from DCL:
"From what I understand from the repo cruise, he was accused of acting inappropriate for the cruise line. "
does anyone know what happened? He was a favorite of ours and mentioned that he had come back early from his last leave to be assistant cruise director for a week of training and that his dream was to cruise director for the next DCL ship. Now we hear he is gone. Anyone know anything?
