Hey guys, been back to work for 2 days, back tonite and then off for 2. AT at loss as for what to do for Jeff's birthday. He's going to be the big 3-0 this year and is a bit dispondent about it.

And I don't know what to tell people at work either about the trip. 1/2 of our pictures are of you guys. They keep saying, "you went with friends?" I really want to say, they're more than that! They're DIS'sers!

Who was Que and what happened? I hope they never allow bob saget on the ship again!

I understand that the cruise director had to appoligize over bob's show (I seem to specifically recall that while none of his language was rated "R", that some of it was a bit "strong" for a Disney Cruise.

If Disney did appologizing about Bob's conduct, and given that I don't think I heard a single positive comment about the show (except perhaps Kermit's recation to the technical troubles ), then I'm sure that we can say that we were the only ones to ever get to see Bob perform on a Disney ship.

You guys at the second show must have really gotten a stinker. I was at the first show, and Bob Saget was pretty funny, and I don't recall him discussing anything offensive. No technical difficulties either. I'm glad I got that show and not the other one, from what everyone is saying!

I was at the second show and don't remember anything offensive. I wish I could remember what is causing such a mess. Usually, I can pick up on stuff, but whatever it was went right over my head. Bob was not funny at all and the show was dumb, but when the mikes didn't work the exchange between Kermit and Bob was hilarious. Their ad-libbing was way better than any of the scripted show.

Anyway .. . Would that be reason for someone to leave? I sure don't think so.

We were at the 2nd show and it was really horrible. I actually left when the mikes went out and everyone else in my party stayed.

We commented on how Disney could hire him with the show he put on.

I wonder how Bob Saget got as far as he did. He must have had a high up friend - he sure couldn't do it on his own

Hi All...

Checking in....We are back finally and in the middle of my first full week of work...ugh. I have piles of stuff everywhere!

It was great to meet all of you that I did and I am sorry for those I did not meet. It seemed we had so much time and then at the end were left wondering where all it went!!! It was nice running into several of you in Disneyland too....it made it seem like it wasn't over!!!

I too wish to be back....I dont know how I can ever do a shorter (7day) again!!! Definite post cruise depression here....

I cant wait to see all the pictures!

We saw the first show....Bob was.....eh???....not at all as funny as the opening muppet bit which had me rolling on the floor. I was hoping for funnier....just seemed to sort of flop, until we got kermit back at the end which was nice.

That sounds so cute! Noah was a doll on the cruise and so sweet too. I hope you got that moment on film, because 15 years from now you can show it to his girlfriend and hear her go oooohhhhhh! (I love to do that with my boys' photos...)

Eric is sure missing the raspberries every night! He says Beckie could find them for him, even here, but the grocery stores don't have any at any price right now... oh well... I'm missing mangos and the mango ice cream! Yummmm... BTW, I surprised myself and came home a few pounds lighter...must have been all the stairs!

We stayed at the Crown Plaza in DC this past weekend for my nephew's wedding. The breakfast buffet had HUGE bowls of fresh raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew. We thought we were back onboard, except the room wasn't moving and we got a bill at the end of the meal.

Eric could come and visit us - he could have his fill of raspberries. My brother has about 75 raspberry bushes at his house. We used to have tons but Mom & I aren't too fond of them (I guess 'cause we always had sooo many) so after my Dad passed away, my brother took some of our bushes to add to his and some friends and neighbours took others and now Mom & I have lots of lilac trees which were in full bloom when we got home.

You're killing me! Lilacs and raspberries too? Actually Eric's dad has them too, but he's in Idaho and we're here, so... We tried to get him to come see us during the season and bring us some, but he doesn't want to experience a Florida summer... I wonder why? LOL! Over 8 inches of rain in the last week and 90* today might have something to do with it...

I sure miss lilacs though... they don't grow here, of course. My DS sent me a box for Mother's day a couple of years ago and made me cry, but I do love it here, it's so much closer to Port Canaveral, after all...

Bob referred to butts and poop! It was totally out of line. I hope the fisrt show was better, at least half of us saw a good show. Kermit was great when the mikes went out, we were close enough to hear him. Alex

Anyone in the know ... I read in a different thread that Que is gone from DCL:

"From what I understand from the repo cruise, he was accused of acting inappropriate for the cruise line. "

does anyone know what happened? He was a favorite of ours and mentioned that he had come back early from his last leave to be assistant cruise director for a week of training and that his dream was to cruise director for the next DCL ship. Now we hear he is gone. Anyone know anything?

He was our favorite too. Que always gave hugs and kisses on the cheeks when he saw us (Carolyn kisses on the cheek, me manly hand shakes). He was always full of energy. He disappeared on Tuesday of the West Coast 7-day cruise. We thought he was sick because Pike was out sick for Sunday and Monday. I hope he is still with DCL. Alex
