OK - THIS IS NO WAY TO START A VACATION

DH WENT BOWLING TONIGHT AT 5 PM AND I TOLD HIM TO TAKE MY CAR SINCE WE HAVE EVERYTHING READY and packed and I backed his car into the driveway - and away he went in my car.

He calls 15 minutes later - he was rear ended by two cars. Now I have to deal with my car when I get back and put in shop.

Not a way to start my vacation.

He says he is okay, but you know how the aches and pains come later. Now I have to make sure he stays well while we are away.

I am so upset. At least he didn't have to go to the ER - I have to be thankful for that.

Just my tale of woe for the night................

Talking about crazy ways to start- I got my first speeding ticket yesterday....after 15 years of driving!!!

We arrived late last night- flight was delayed by two hours in the airport and another hour on the runway.

We went straight to bed. DH had to finish some work this AM- we missed our PS for breakfast. We will also have to come back tonight early, so I can finish my paper for school. I'm just waiting for the Prof. to clarify one thing so I can start writing.

Yes we saw Leslie, Bubble rings is an advanced class I teach… LOL Pretty neat huh

It was a fun dive and fun to see a sign with your name on it. Also there was a reporter from the O Sentinel there and he did a little interview with me after the dive. Ken and Shari and Lyn and I each bought the DVD of the dive so we can bore you all with How we spent our vacation talk.

Kay glad your DH is OK, remember Kids wash your hands a bunch to help keep ya from getting sick.

He was an explorer of the north pole and constantly complianed about being cold. He asked his companions that if he were to die, to cremate his body. That way he'd be warm at least once.

Man you got to her before I could! But then again she walked into it!

We are in Atlanta, aka h*ll. Spent the best $350 of my life apparently...upgraded us to business on AirTran. Now I know why all those seats already had seat assignments on the 2nd leg of our flight...high school trip to WDW!!!!!!!!!

Sooooooooo glad I'm not back with them. There aren't enough mini-bottles of booze....

Be in Florida in about 2 hrs. See ya soon!

Well, Friday is here and the workers will be here to tear out the picture window in the kitchen in 15 minutes. I told the contractor WEEKS ago he'd never finish before I left...Now there's a mess awaiting me when I return...All the kitchen cabinets emptied into living room and den, bathroom stuff emptied into the hallway...mess, mess, mess. This is one time when I'm not spinning my wheels cleaning house for vacation...I'll have to wait until I get back! Bags are packed and waiting for Supershuttle in the garage...Kitty has spent the last two nights outside as a trial run for being saved from boot camp...Hope she sticks around...
I'll be leaving here around 2 and flying into MCO around 5. See y'all at dinner or in the lobby tonight, those who will be at the Hyatt...See everyone else aboard the Magic...!

We leave today! Arriving in Orlando around 4, then off to Walmart to fill the diaper and baby food suitcase, and then to the Radisson. We did have to change the mini van rental to the big huge 8 passenger van, no way the six of us and our luggage were fitting in a minivan. Its going to be a squish getting to the airport in my Escalade ESV (extra long version).

It only took me about 9 months to come out of lurker mode on this board, so you should hear from me on about day 10 of the cruise. I never got my picture posted, but you will be able to spot me easily, I'll be the Mom with the pack of wild boys (5 , 3 , 7 months).

The elevator in my condo is BROKEN! I will need to haul the suitcases down the stairs one at a time. It could be worse, this could be a high-rise, or I could be on the 4th floor instead of the 3rd.

Good Morning....

Happy travels to everyone coming down today.

We arrived at MCO yesterday afternoon around 4. Took over an hour to get the luggage. (longer than it took for us to fly from Palm Springs to Phoenix..?)

We checked into Ron Jon's..very nice 1BR unit with a great view to watch OUR ship come in in the morning! Had a great dinner here last night too.

Just going to do some pool time today and save our energy for tomorrow morning. The weather is perfect, and the ocean looks great.

Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning...
