No need to download a different Uber app or make a different account. The Uber account from the UK should work seamlessly for the USA.

thank you, i did try to use it last year but couldnt get it to work but i think its because i had never used it or booked a ride before so i guess my account wasnt verifid? have the same issues with trying to set apps up for food deleverys noughing worked cuz uk phone number

Yes, it's best to set up your account and do any verification before you leave. Then you don't have to worry about trying to get verification texts, etc. in a foreign country.

I'm not sure (I'm from the US). But, I know when I'm getting ready to travel outside the US, I update any apps I think I might use, update payment info, have my login, etc. to save time (and hassle) when I get to another country. I would imagine instacart and door dash would be like that.
