It's 25º here right now....but this is what MY week looks like...enjoy "the other guy" Peter and Jenn..... Sunny skies ahead!!!!

Morning all!
Wow- what a crazy week at work. There seems to be many really sick people in Chicago this week....kept me running at work, the busiest week yet and I did not get out of the hospital on time once this week. One tired nurse here. (Swans, and neosynephrine drips, and ventrical tachycardia- oh my! [read that with the "tune" from the wizard of oz- lions,and tiger and bears- oh my! in your head])


I knew that allearsnet had some articles comparing DCL and Royal Carribean- but the link is now nowhere to be found... I just thought it would be fun to reference with Peter's current trip. I emailed requesting the link- I'll let you know when it shows up- if it does.

Does anyone subscribe to the newsletter from the mouse for less? I am cited in their newsletter - with providing a cost saving tip, kinda fun!

Just wanted to let you all know...Expedition Everest ROCKS!!!!!!!!

Even with my half a patch, I got REAL close to losing it the 2nd time in a row!!!

My friend describes it as "Big Thunder Mountain on steroids". The preshow is very cool, with lots of things to look at. We had walkons every time, so I didn't get to spend much time looking. The employees all got sun visors for their windshields. One gal in the gift shop (surprise!!! the ride lets out in a GIFT SHOP of all places!!! ) said she couldn't wait to see them all over the employee parking lot!!!! They said "I survived Expedition Everest" or something to that effect.

Anyway, this ride was harder on me than Mission:Space, even though I'd had my patch on overnight. Everyone really did enjoy it, though! It's a keeper!!!

How did you end up getting on this weekend? Soft opening? I know the DVC event is next weekend, so what happened?

It looked awesome on the video ride throughs.
