Tomorrow is the big day!!! Elaine and Leslie will be here to have out first ever Dis' scrapmeet!!!!! We're going to the big scrapbook expo, the EPCOT food and wine festival, cropping at my house, watching the DVD's we got in the mail, and getting sundaes at Ghirardelli! Hooray!!!!!

If we'd had any idea that you could come, we'd have asked you for sure!!!! The EXPO isn't until Sat.... how about a last minute airfare??? If that doesn't work, there are plans starting to go to CKU (a 3 day scrapbook 'college') in '07 if you're interested...

I'm glad you told the story, Angela. I wouldn't have done it justice. The whole time I was thinking, "How blunt! I mean, mom and dad are sitting RIGHT there! I thought people from the south were supposed to be friendly! Just when you thought you knew someone. She never showed us this side of her on the cruise!"

We did have some good laughs about it afterward though!

We had a great time this weekend... shopping, eating, shopping, talking.... though Elaine and Leslie did a little more talking late into the night as Elaine was staying with Leslie at the MouseHouse. The scrapbook Expo was wonderful, as expected, and we shopped till we almost dropped, then came back to my place to have wonderful waffles cooked my sweetie! It was a teriffic time to 'meet'!!!! Next time we need a lot more Dis'scrapteers!!!!!!

And it was there again, Peter!!! Georgie, I seem to recall you are in NJ, hope you aren't floating yet! And anyone else, thoughts and prayers are with you. I can't believe all the water you people are getting.....and 6" down, our dirt is like concrete....isn't that how it always is, never happy with what we've got....too much/not enough/too cold/too humid.

Had my first customer from New Orleans the other day. VERY nice family, I sure hope our winter doesn't scare them away!!!

Thanks for thinking of us! Yes, Joe + I are in NJ... no blue skies for us yet... But, we are fortunate we haven't seen bad flooding. A co-worked had water coming in his house and had to get up at 4:30 to dig a trench to lead the rain away!

Come to think of it, my folks are away... we better check their basement when we get home from work. Sure wish I thought of that sooner!

Georgie-are you still afloat back there?

Just got back from my week long trip to Atlanta for National Girl Scout Convention. Jamie (DD-13) ended up going with me last week as she was awarded a performing arts scholarship from the Ennis Wallenburg foundation so she ended up performing at the convention! It was awesome. Met some fantastic people and had a blast. Over 10,000 were there. Anyway, she had to have a chaperone and I couldn't stay the whole time with her, so Robert flew in Friday night (or should I say first thing Sat. a.m. he arrived at 5:50 a.m.) since he missed his flight out of SLC Friday night!

All expenses paid for the two of them which amounted to about $3,000.

I'll have to post a pic of Jamie singing next week. The pics are at home right now.

I want to hear about the scrapbook expo.

Oh, and since I am on the board for the executive Girl Scout staff now for the next three years.......................

our board president lives in Tampa!

So sad.......................guess I HAVE TO COME TO FLORIDA two times a year..............oh darn........................

My first trip I have to be to the board meeting on January 18 by 5 p.m. I'm thinking the marathon is the weekend before? Guess I'll just have to fly out early and visit the mousehouse. Is there a get together planned for that weekend?

Yes, What a shame you'll have to go to Florida 2 times a year!!! ... for the next 3 years!!!

We're still afloat here in NJ It's still raining.

Side note: We all still laugh about Joe getting wet in the pontoon boat just before the fireworks. Now I ask you, what are the chances of having a wave from the lagoon splash over the sides of a Disney pontoon boat!!! That was Sooooo funny!

Glad you're back safe and sound! Congrats to Jamie. Yes, please post some pictures!
