So this weekend Robb, Noah, and I got together with Andy and Char from our cruise. We had a really great time. We met at Navy Pier and went on an architectural boat tour of Chicago. It was really great for Robb and I to learn more about Chicago. Although we live an hour away- and I work there- we don't really know that much about the city. What an interesting history it has and I really believe that the city has the BEST skyline of an in the US. Very beautiful buildings.

When then went back to their hotel, so they could change- I forgot to mention that it was raining. However it did stop after the first few mintues- but it was pouring before that.

After they changed, we all climbed into a cab- 6 people in one cab, tight fit. I got to know Andy and Char's friend Jenny pretty well- she sat half way on my lap.

We then went and had a great dinner at Hugo's Frog bar on Rush street. It is owned by the people who own Gibson's. We had HUGE steaks, crab cakes, and wondreful HUGE desserts.

All in all, we had a wonderful time and it was great to see them.

I have photos, which I have uploaded to sony image station- but I can't seem to right click them and put them into the post. If someone will help me, I'll post the pictures.

I think of you often as I'm working on my cruise scrapbook - I have over 120 pages done for our crusie and I'm no where near done. I'm having a blast re-living our trip.

I'm so excited...I'm going to WDW in 9 days to attend the Memories Expo with Renae and Leslie....We are going to have SOOOOOO much fun!!!!!

I think Leslie is officially addicted to scrapbooking!!!!!!

There is a thread on the cruise forum asking if DCL has scrapbooking classes and someone posted that we had one on the Repo cruise so I told them about your class and the fact that DCL held one a few days later but no where near as good as yours!!!!!!

Can't wait for our 11 day cruise next September ....maybe I'll have my Repo cruise scrapbook done by then!!!!!!!

What do you mean you're going to the Memories Expo? You didn't invite me

Oh well...................when are you going? I'm headed to Atlanta here shortly. I've got to change tickets tomorrow, maybe I could add in another leg or two on my flight via Orlando...........

I've been working on my book too, and really enjoying it. I got a bunch of 'Basic Grey' brand papers for my Canal Day pages, and they really look good, they're distressed and go with the colors of the cement, rust, and beautiful greens and browns.

I wish all you scrappers could be here for the Expo, we have some great activites planned!

You guys are putting us to shame on how far you are getting with your scrapbooks. After painting our scrapbook room, we set it up (sort of) but the room is still cluttered with boxes and other miscellaneous stuff. We can barely even see the table we work on!

We still aren't even finished with our Western cruise scrapbook from 2004 but I guess we had better get to it soon!

Linda...couldn't you get them to change the date!!!! Tell them you have an important convention to attend in Orlando on the 8th!!!!!

That would have been so much fun....4 Lanyard People at a Scrapbook Convention!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well...maybe next year....OR..... maybe next year we'll come to the one in Utah...didn't you mention previously about a HUGE scrapbook convention by you?????

I found 2 of the Villains Kleenex...still looking for Cruella... but I have not seen the paper towels!!!! Now I have to run out tomorrow and look! Are the Kleenex paper towel or some other brand???

The paper towels are Scott brand- they are 3 for $1.99. If you cannot find the cruella Kleenex and the paper towels- if you want I will bring them to Renae in October and you can get them from her.

The same lady who made the evil queen shirt just made the evil witch from Snow White also- pretty cool. They are for t-shirts.

I saw some Toy Story paper Towels but did not get them as I never want to use them, cause they are too kewl. Same way with Christmas Captain Crunch, I think we have a box from 1998.

Having a very busy week at work with a long trial. My brain is full, could be over tomorrow. This would be good. I need some vegamatic time.

We are heading to Las Vegas on Saturday for the Big Dive Show, always fun. Looking for new places to have adventures.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know we went to get an ultrasound today and found out we are having a baby girl!!!!!

I can't tell you how excited we are right now! I guess your little craving quiz was correct Celeste! I'm surprised because everyone in our families (including us) thought we were going to have a boy except for Amy's dad.

We are naming her Emma Grace after Amy's grandmother. I can't wait for everyone to meet her on a reunion cruise!

You need to watch those ultrasounds, I had a friend who's ultrasound showed she was having a girl, but that girl turned into a boy!!!! I guess the angle wasn't quite right, and they came to the wrong conclusion.
