Sorry about the tri-post

Mom wanted me to post this.

She was gardening all day today and she said that she wished Georgie and Leslie lived closer because she would have driven over and picked them both up to get them out of the house and brought them back to our house and they could have kept her company all afternoon. She said she was remembering all about the fun things we did on the cruise and all the nice people she met.

Elaine & Margaret

What a WONDERFUL thought! Thanks for taking time to share that. It made my morning! Tell your Mom, I would have jumped on that opportunity! Thank you for the offer!!! :goodvibes

Yes, settling in has been difficult and I am longing to see everyone again. :wave2: So glad we were all able to meet and enjoy being together creating memories... GOOD WARM FUZZIE FLIPPIE FLOPPIE MEMORIES!!! :lovestruc

Elaine,You and your mom were great. You always had a smile and a hi for all of us. It was always so fun to run into you guys on board...

Michelle, You are so right!! Elaine and Margaret were so great to hang around with! I expected this trip to be about all the great places we were going, but I'm still surprised that the best memories are all the great people we met!!

Thanks, everyone!!

Thanks, everyone!!

The boards, where we can still visit, are tempering the post-cruise blues, that's for sure! I've got my fish extender hanging right outside the bedroom door with some little still-unopened sailaway gifts poking out of the pockets. The Princess penny bank, in the bottom pocket, is very handy for catching spare coins as I pass on my way to change clothes....saving up to meet again...

Geez, the news here is reporting another quake in CA centered near Eureka.. isn't that where Steve and Amy are. Hope you all are okay out there!!! :scared1:

Debbie & Catherine.. great pics!!

Kelli: Good luck with the surgery. I'm hoping my MRI doesn't show anything that requires surgery. I'm a big chicken!! :earseek:

Hey Elaine, Joe actually has a single brother.......... he's still in Wisconsin though so there's not much hope there. We keep trying to get him down here to FL though. Most of the single guys I know are more Margarets age...:rotfl2:

Hi all!

I received my CD from Disney and loaded it onto my PC at work. Now when the screensaver comes on I can pretend I'm back on the ship and imagine us all together on deck, in the dining rooms, etc.

If anyone is interested I posted some pics over on the site Tony mentioned to us. Hope you enjoy.

Hope everyone is mending nicely and that we have no more incidents/accidents/earthquakes. Hope everyone is CA is okay.

Yeah, we had another one last night. It was about 120 miles off the coast of Ferndale. At least I was home for this one but I didn't feel it at all. This is getting a little old. Hopefully that is it for a while. For as many as there have been near us and in southern California, fortunately there hasn't been much damage.

Ferndale is a cute Victorian town just 20 miles south of us that was featured in the movies Outbreak with Dustin Hoffman and The Majestic with Jim Carrey. It also has it's own section recreated in Legoland near San Diego!

Hey you California people,

What's up? Another earthquake? Are you all ok? Tony and Adrienne, especially you, are you still there? How is the shop? Talk to me people!!!!

Renae

Elaine,

Thanks! I like Memory lane, but it's about a 30 minute drive to get there. The one near disney is new to me. I'll check them out!

Have fun scrapping,
Renae

Laurie,

Thanks for the info! I'll try it tonite... wish me luck.

Do you have more pics of your Bounty excursion? I'd love to see the rope swing ones... I need a laugh today.

Renae

Hi Kids,

I was able to get out of work early today, yeah as it is a beautiful day. Waiting for Lynn to awake so we can take the pups for a nice long walk.

We got our U/W photos in the mail today. I was really surprised with the quality for a disposable camera. Will post some here when I get the chance.

The other day I made some Agua de Sandia. Pretty darn tasty.

Where is Peter???????

You CA folks stay near a doorway OK, just incase.

Good question, Leslie!! I just found out this morning, my doc definitely wants to do surgery on my knee. I'm scheduled for surgery on the 22nd. Had an MRI on Saturday...I know nothing of knees, so its been an experience!! I have a "medial meniscus tear" I've been messing with since Feb. Ice and rest aren't cutting it anymore, so I went to the doc last week.

Kelli

I knew you shouldn't have been running across the street to the Acapulco Post Office and now I feel bad that I "dragged" you all over Cabo San Lucas.

Take care and REST!!!!!!

Just think you could have your scrapbook done while you're recuperating!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much! I didn't have time to reply early this morning...but have to say it was a cheery start to my morning. Hasn't been the best of weeks here..Tracy, DW, has been in the hospital since last weekend so I had almost forgot about the birthday today. Thanks again..that meant alot to me!

Actually, I started babying it a week before and during the cruise. I felt great most of the time. Stepping off that HUGE curb in Acapulco was a HUGE surprise, and I was very careful on the way back, but I was fine until I got back to work!! :) Truly!! Climbing under 2 people's desks (NO comments, folks!!) and having to get down to ground level at another job all in the same day is what did it! The next day, it was swollen again, and hasn't gone down.

But thanks for worrying!! :goodvibes If you need a place to stay in WI, Etta will take you in!!!
