Hi Kay!!!
I sent you a PM this morning. Did you get it?
Thanks,
Georgie

Hi Georgie:

Yes, I did get it. Please forgive me for not answering yet. I had lunch with my old office buddies and stayed there for bout 3 hours and then picked up g/baby and took her to swim lessons and that took up most of my day. I am totally pooped now.

Again, please forgive me. There were a couple more PM's that I didn't answer. I only had time to read them quickly with the baby here - I can't leave her alone for a moment - and she only sits on the couch with me for a short period of time and then get up and runs off and I have to run after her.

Anybody else have problems with the Disneycruise.com website. I've registered but when I enter my Disney confirmation number with my date of birth to pull up my reservations, I don't get a response when I click continue. :sad2:

I've sent a message to the "feedback" site but haven't heard back yet. I booked through Dreams Unlimited but I have my confirmation number. Am I missing something else that I'm supposed to be doing?

Marie

My friend Harry in Michigan had a similar problem, so he called DCL and they told him it was a problem with his birthdate somehow having been changed when it was tranferred between computers (or something like that). DCL has his correct b'day but the online system has some unknown date and the person Harry talked to said they couldn't fix it.

He booked a couple excursions over the phone, but they would not let him book Palo, saying that only concierge level could do so. Whatever! All of us who managed to book Palo online in the last couple days know that is not true, but you can't convince the DCL reps. :confused3

Marie,

I had this problem too! Try logging in using Internet Explorer. This worked for me.

Hope you can access the site!

Earlier I was asking about the steps/stairs at the cliff divers in Acapulco. Roberto from Acapulco replied that yes there are 60 steps! Now, this was in reply to a question of doing the divers on your own by taking a taxi. http://disboards.com/showpost.php?p=8510426&postcount=93

So I called DCL to ask. Spoke with a nice CM who after talking with her supervisor is going to have the shore excursion people call me next week to find out if there are a number of steps to see the divers. What her info said, is that the guest will have to be able to do some walking and some steps. There are no ramps and can only use a wheelchair if it is the folding type.

After looking at other cruiselines for the same excursion, they kinda indicate that some walking is involved.

I shall wait and see!!

Thanks for the update Elaine! I too was wondering about the dress code in our jammies for breakfast!!! :rotfl2: I doubt that anyone will be wearing anything questionable :goodvibes We are so looking forward to doing this.

Thanks for putting it together!
:earsgirl:

Georgie

At work today one of the ladies had the new AVON catalogue and was looking through it when one of the guys we work with stopped by her desk...in the catalogue was a very slinky nightie with a slit up the front and lace panties and he brought the book over to my desk and asked if I was wearing something like that for our breakfast...I just about fell off my chair...I had to remind him it was a DISNEY CRUISE!!!!!!

Elaine

P.S. I'm in the process of putting together an updated list so I will post it very soon...that way you will know who is on the list.

Sooooo.... while talking to the CM at DCL about the excursion, she did indicate that there may be some type of celebration when the Magic leaves the port! And there will be a large celebration when it arrives!

And also confirmed that Captain Thord will be the captain for this voyage.

One week from today I will be at WDW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Debbie

edited to add: Please note that I can no longer accept any additional people to attend the breakfast, I'm sorry but as I posted earlier I had to give DCL a head count earlier this afternoon so they could contact the dining manager on the Magic. I'm sincerley sorry and I hope you all understand. There may be a possibility that others can join us in the dining room but I cannot guarantee that they will be sitting in the same area.

While I was pulling all of my paperwork together I noticed that on my shore excursion confirmation that mine and Ron's birthdates were way off. I called DCL and they corrected them. Maybe that's the problem?

I get the impression that most of us are in the second dinner. Check the main list and it will give you a better idea. Tigfan's master list.

Kay , I'm home. Save me a copy of the calendar for the ship. I know I will need it.

Anybody going to cruise chat?

Also... has anyone found out the movie list yet?

Attention all "ladies night" cruisers. I went in and canceled my booking for 1-2 and re-booked for 5-6 (the most it will let me) There are 8 of us in the group. Who ever reads this first, please PM me so someone else can get the last two reservations in.

Thanks!

If you want some on-site assistance, talk to the Shore Excursion desk on board...Heath should be ready by now to talk about access options for the excursions... Have your TA FAX him a list of your planned excursions and the access difficulties you would like to avoid. Insist, insist, insist.

I have been on the phone with DCL for reservations at Palo's (for 45 minutes) and was advised in no uncertain terms---------------------

PALO'S IS COMPLETELY SOLD OUT FOR THE ENTIRE 14 DAYS FOR HIGH TEA, BRUCH AND DINNER - EARLY AND LATE.

Do we want to accept that or not????????????????? :confused3 :confused3
