We also booked the first day and have not received any docs yet Weather has been great here in Ft. Myers, FL. Getting a little warmer though. I can feel the humidity coming in now, and it seems a little dark outside. I can feel myself getting a little lazy at work. It gets harder to focus with the cruise so close. There are more important things to concentrate on other than work...like clothes..packing...etc.

Good Morning cruisers! So here we are, about two weeks away from leaving (give or take a couple days) and I'm sitting at home, with a in my lap trying to catch up to all you folks! I'm only 30 pages behind! I'm working from a different office again today, so I decided to go in a bit later.

Celeste, Just caught the jail or Packers story on the morning news. I know cheeseheads can be quite the obsessive bunch, but worth 90 days in jail?

I'm pulling for the Make A Wish kids to get those seats!

On that note - I say there's plenty of time to get Mickey Jammies Kim - I just ordered some new luggage online. It should be here May 4th (of course I'll be out of town then) so no packing for me until at least the 6th or so. Plenty of time!
I'm game for a PJ breakfast. Can't let the men completely show us up with their grass skirts.

I also booked the first day and no docs yet. I realize that theory has already been blown out of the water - but I'm going with Tiki Girl and Serena's theory now (we AZ folks have to stick together)
Holding out for that upgrade - if I remember correctly and didn't miss any, we've only had 2 Dis boarders upgraded - we're due for a few don't ya think?

Seaulater = Disboard Navigator. The Navigator To Be Made and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.
I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What has been done in the past is that the Navigator was posted, before we left on a website and then people could print out if they wanted.

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Special Dining nights announced By DCL. = Formal nights 5/16 and 5/26. Semiformal 5/19 and 5/21. Tropical Night 5/18 Pirate night 5/23 Full List Here These Are Subject to change.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

Anyone else participating in Rebuilding Together Day this weekend? DH and I will be spending all day Saturday helping revitalize a center for develpmentally challanged children and adults with a bunch of my coworkers. It's actually a lot of fun and we always feel good about using the skills we have (such that they are) to help others who really could use it.

Still no docs here. I just think DCL is trying to make us sweat it out! Ugh!

Last Friday I called Disney DelivEars and complained about a shipment they sent to me and I was very, very unhappy with the shipping charges.

I called and asked to speak with a supervisor in charge of shipping and not just a CM at the very earliest possible time.

At 4 p.m. today I received a call back and believe it or not, I got a full refund for the shipping on my items. Totally shocked, but I didn't let them know that !!!!!!

Made me very happy.

Just be persistent but very nice and it usually works.

I ordered a LOT of things from DL DelivEARS several retro pins, some DL lanyards, and 9 (yes, 9) of the personalized golden Mickey Ears. So, the bukk was quite large, but so was the shipping... $21.00. I was surprised! I guess I figured if I added $1 to each of my items, that would make up the $20.00, but it did seem very high. Yes, I blinked both eyes!

I want to call to put in an order for a personalized golden ear hat for Roberto (acapulco) but not if the shippoing charges will be THAT high!

I'm glad you got a refund of the charges. Good for you!

In regards to the ears, I think they have them at WDW too? I think I saw that on another board? If not- I have to stop by the Christmast Store in DTD on Thursday night (before the cruise) to pick up LOTS of personalized name badges.....ALL the nurses want them. I could pick one of those up for him and give it to someone who plans on running the race for the shirt.

Or...I am going to MK on Friday- I could get them there- if they are there.
