There is a fine line separating hobby from obsession. This group has crossed that line and it is now several miles back. In the 24 hour period that was April 20 (midnight to midnight) we went from page 595 to 615. Every time I got done reading a page, another page was filled. I'm exhausted.Randall

I totally agree.....I have to work!!!! Everytime I peeked on yesterday it was pages and pages more...no way to keep up. And when I would get close 2 or 3 more would pop up....chatt, chatty, chatty....I will try to stay caught up...but I have unhappy clients and they are working me hard...ugh.

Just had to share my exciting news:

When I checked e-mails this morning I found out we won tickets to the sneek peek event at Disneyland on May 4!
We really should pass on it - but it's too late now.... I've been a booking fool today getting everything all set up. We're going to Disney!

It will be a quick trip for us, but would love to say hello if anyone else will be there for the big kick-off.
Do you know when and where Jamie is performing yet Linda?

Also got a GREAT post card in the mail today to get us even more excited about the cruise, if that is possible.
Very cool that it showed up on my birthday!

Now if only DCL had cooperated and gotten our docs here today
Oh well, lots of pixie dust flowing anyway.

Friday she is performing at Carnation Plaza at DL; Saturday at the stage back behind Bug's Life at CA. Don't have times yet. I keep bugging her teacher/owner, but she is still waiting to hear. If DL is anything like DCL though, I would bet the times will change even once they are given to us!!!!

You are sounding like those "lifers" in Girl Scouting. They show up every three years at National Convention and they have pins and "stuff" all over their hats, jackets, shoes, etc. They make these little things called "swaps". They make 100's of them and then they say I have a swap for you if you'll give me a swap of yours......................whatever!!!! I take the swap and then the next person that asks, I give them the swap that was given to me right before that. It is pretty dang funny.

Hi guys...

Need some good vibes please. Beagle Bell needs some prayers right about now. History: She had been diagnosed with a perianal fistual disease (auto immune disease that creates tracts and/or internal masses) about 2 years ago. Has had 3 surgeries so far, removing such things. Very touch and go as she's 10 and a half. But we succeeded and have been religious about some miracle medicine....

Well, today, she went out this am and is bleeding again. Rushed her into vet and he's not sure if it's same thing or intestinal bleeding.

She's my first born and as you can tell I'm sooo attached. At least it's happening now and not in 3 weeks while gone...

Oh Kendra! We are definitely sending lots of pixie dust your way! I hope your baby will be okay...give her lots of and here's a for you too!

The damn paper is finished...not my best work-but done. I REALLY slacked off this week- too many posts. Too many things to do.....

Of course when I was trying to upload it- I had MANY problems. I have a new Sony laptop and I haven't loaded all my programs on it...so I am trying to format my paper in APA format (anyone else HATE APA?) and email it to the new computer. It's not working...and not working. I then try to burn the file on CD- my writer is not recognizing the disk- then I realize when it does burn- I burned the unrevised version...and on and on it goes. The assignment was 4 minutes late....I'll have to see what happens.


I'm too tired to care at this point- but I'll care in the AM

At 3pm- I threw the baby out with the bathwater and rewrote the entire thing and expanded the focus of my population....

I will be traveling with my laptop, printer, and BOOKS....what is a vacation without a copy of Healthly People 2010......

I really would like to see cat 8,9,10,11, and 12 also, anybody listening? I anticipate that in the future I will be staying in these categories. I tend to think that I would do very well without a window. I like the thought of total darkness.

Total darkness huh- still trying to get caught up on sleep after med school?

I would love to show you my category 7- if I had one.....

Robb and I are in a category 5....which I believe is the same size as a 7- but has a different verandah. I believe we are in one of the cat. 5's which is built for 4 people....we always request those incase my step son comes along.

If I had to be honest- YOU know I'd kill to see your cat. 3....thinking of something like that as a treat upon graduation from school. I also like the idea of treats being brought to my room without asking--let us know how you like the concierge service.


Need a digital camera? I just bought the Sony Cyber-shot with 7.2 mega pixels...its very compact. It has a Carl Zeiss lens- which I prefer. I personally wouldn't buy anything with less than 5 megapixels. Anything with 8.0 megapixels or higher is minimally needed if you are taking pictures which need great detail- like forensic shots. (Another story.) If I had more money, I would purchase a digital SLR-but that isn't in the budget this year. I purchased this camera from Best Buy- but I have a referral for a great site if you want to PM me.

We've decided to go up to the MouseHouse... I'm supposed to be packing some stuff so we can take it up there and "stage it" for our trip.... Guess I better sort out some of the piles I've made and decide what I'm really taking. Gotta cut back because right now the piles are overtaking a whole bedroom!!
Everyone has been talking so much about the POFQ Bakery that now I'll have to run over there and pick up some goodies... maybe go and see Bob Jackson at Dixie (Riverside..whatever..) too.... LOVE that guy!

Yes, APA sucks!!! Yesterday I bought FOUR new APA books- as grad school progresses, it is getting more important to know how to appropriately insert tables, statistics and be able to cite everything correctly. I want to use the format the MD's use- it's easier.

(Hope I didn't offend anyone with that word. I have been really well behaved on this board....nurses can swear like sailors)

Want to hear something- my hospital doesn't celebrate it!!! Big LOOSERS.....they give some line that while nurses are important- they want to "celebrate" all their employees and have an employee week in June.

Don't get me started....and I work weekends and all of the "celebration" is during the week.....
