Thursday Greeting to all!

I am SOOOO far behind, and will try to catch up but I think I left off around page 580 or so

We've been putting a new release into production which includes an interface with another system. I've been LIVING here day and night and am so tired, even if I did try to catch up on the threads I might miss what I'm reading!

QUESTION:

Do we have actual dates + times set for the wine tasting party and the scrapbooking yet? I'm trying to schedule our times for REAS... Palo's, Brunch, massage, and DON'T WANT TO MISS ANY OF OUR MINI MEETS!!!​

After all, we MUST set our priorities... and I'm looking forward to the times we'll all be together!

This morning I talked to Debbie in Amenities (to book the stuff for our REAS package) and she said she'd just gotten her list of some of the official goings-on for our trip.

How else will we ever know what the rooms look like. It's not like I'm going to rent one of each kind until i've done them all. Just tell me when and come on over. I 've never seen a cat. 3 yet either , except pictures on this board.

I'm proud to say that it is 11:37 and I am still in my PJ's----but the treadmill is calling.


DH, DS, and I are going to hit the Kona Cafe for breakfast before we go to MK on Friday, May 13....HEY Friday the 13th- I usually have the BEST days on those days. Also DS will be doing the Grand Adventures in cooking class at the Floridian that day.



Anyone else AP holders? I can't decide if I want to renew for next year? With DS entering first grade- I don't know if we can go down as much.

Anyone else doing the marathon in January? I am training to do the half-marathon....something I have never done before. I'm not the runner type....but I've always wanted to do it.

Anyone ever tried the Relief Bands for motion sickness....not that I think the seas will be bad in May.

Hey GUESS what---I will be in Chicago on May 3rd- I will be interviewing for a position in the Neruo-ICU at Rush!!!! Exciting and scarry all at the same time. If I work there- I will get FREE tuition! (I just got off the phone with them....wish me luck!)

Just had to share my exciting news:

When I checked e-mails this morning I found out we won tickets to the sneek peek event at Disneyland on May 4!
We really should pass on it - but it's too late now.... I've been a booking fool today getting everything all set up. We're going to Disney!

HAVE A GREAT TIME! If I got tickets, I would go too! What FUN!!! We want to hear all about it!

Georgie: Scrapbooking is Tuesday 5/17 12:30 - 1:30 WHich I'm sure will go longer because no way in heck can I make those things that fast...

I don't think anyone knows about the wine tasting yet... I just hope it's not formal night... we get free cocktails that night and we don't want to mix wine with the rum now.....

Linda: What about the Palo Brunch... do we have a date on that yet? Don't want to make my ressies for anytime close to it....
DUH! Last time we ended up with Palo dinner the night before Palo Brunch... NOTHING fit after that.....

Hi guys...

Need some good vibes please. Beagle Bell needs some prayers right about now. History: She had been diagnosed with a perianal fistual disease (auto immune disease that creates tracts and/or internal masses) about 2 years ago. Has had 3 surgeries so far, removing such things. Very touch and go as she's 10 and a half. But we succeeded and have been religious about some miracle medicine....

Well, today, she went out this am and is bleeding again. Rushed her into vet and he's not sure if it's same thing or intestinal bleeding.

She's my first born and as you can tell I'm sooo attached. At least it's happening now and not in 3 weeks while gone...

GOOD THOUGHTS and PRAYERS coming your way. My firstborn was so very special... a real joy to me. I know Beagle Bell is special to you too! You are special to her too!

Celeste: Good luck with the interview! We are not runners either but DH and I have done the Disney Marathon.. both full and half. Since they are moving the half to Saturday next year.. he wants to do both... the half on Sat and the full on Sun and get the "special award" I think he is certifiably insane. I think I will up his life insurance and watch from the sidelines.

Since we're all going to be eating so much during the cruise, what if we do REVERSE trick-or-treating? Knock on doors and leave our leftovers for people who show us their staterooms! I can tell you that nobody has missed the time and date of the wine tasting yet. DCL may not assign this until very close to the cruise, which is why I am not only collecting your names for the event, but also your cabin #'s. We will deliver invitiations with the date, time, and location once it is known.

Sorry, I feel for everyone trying to plan. Unfortunately, we just don't know about this one yet...
