With all of our luggage and extras we are taking with us, the ship is bound to sit in the water a little lower. Wouldn't ya' think? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Anyone on deck 1 might have an under water view!

For all those Saturday workers, I'm in there too... Jeff works weekends at the mouse so I'd rather be home during the week. I'm off next weekend since my best friend is going to be down here but other than that every weekend between now and the cruise is work.

If anyone is still looking for shorts, Victoria's Secret has a ton of shorts right now. I did a quick look online and they have all sorts of lengths...

Leslie!! Leslie!! Leslie!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I am NOT doing the wetsuit!! Everytime I put one on I feel like a beached whale! In spandex, no less!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl2:Yeah.. I have a feeling that's what it will be like. Never had one before.... but I am a wimp in cold water and the west coast water is a LOT colder than our gulf stream warmed ocean!! Even Castaway Cay water will not be as warm in May as it is later in the summer. :cold: I don't want to miss out on the snorkeling adventures so Moby Leslie it will be!! :rotfl2: A new species... the great PINK killer whale! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

:cool1: :wave2: I'M BACK... THE TEST IS OVER :wave2: :cool1:

I got back around 3:00! I can never thank ALL of you enough for your prayers and thoughts :goodvibes

I KNOW that's the reason I didn't get unnerved by the whole thing. I've never been a good test taker, and get flustered and sometimes "shut down" before I can finish. At least I can say given the nature of the test, I did my best. :flower: I only wish I had more time.

The test was unnecessarily hard. It would have been almost a fun challenge, if we weren't under the gun to finish. The one guy next to me kept turning the pages back and forth, and back and forth, noisy rustle, noisy rustle. I wanted to reach over, grab his book, and whack him on the top of his head! :rotfl: (We sat FACING EACH OTHER at a round table... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!)

 Hey, Hygiene99, now that I've taken this exam... maybe I can write up some of the scavengert hunt clues using the same principles. :rotfl2: That would keep all of us going for DAYS!!! ;) At any rate...

:jumping1: YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. :jumping1:
I could really feel the support while in the test. Right now, I'm feeling overwhelmed at the amount of support you've all given me. :grouphug:

After the test, DH took me out for a late lunch and then ice cream at Cold Stone! :love2: I got a Berry, Berry, Berry Good... the next best thing to a Mickey Bar! :mickeybar

Thanks for helping me get through this time!!

:boat: NOW... ON WITH THE CRUISE PREPARATIONS! YIPEE!!! :Pinkbounc

You all will not believe where I am. I'm at WORK! We were just notified yesterday afternoon that we have to work for the next 4 Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I'm so hopping mad! That's every Saturday between now and the cruise.

We've already had a couple of people in our office RESIGN because of it. I might've resigned too if I hadn't just paid thousands of dollars for this cruise - ha ha ha!

Sadness for me. :guilty:

How unfair that is. That's such a long day, especially for a Saturday... AND not to get any compensation for it :sad2:

I'm hoping you can fill your thoughts with GOOD things while you are there... like this upcoming TRIP!

Congrats on getting through your test, Georgie! I'm sure you did well, and now you can breathe a sigh of relief that it's over. Yay for you!

:cheer2:

At least I've started packing already. She hasn't even begun yet! :earseek:

I laid out little piles of daytime outfits on the bed yesterday then took a good look and packed them...Suitcase full. Now all I have to do is pack my formal stuff, the stuff thee seamstress is finishing, and the things for Cash and I'm done....Mailed a package off to my Mom for the California part of the trip today. Now for a nap.

Come on Georgie.....you can do it!

Yes, Georgie. Congrats! I am sure that you did quite well. Especially with Mr. George Boole's algebraic theorems. :)
Now, deep breath.....relax.

Hey Kay and Bill!
Are your gutters clean yet? :rotfl2:

Mine are clean, he has been playing around and neglecting everything. I'm gonna tell on him, if he doesn't get his ducks in a row. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

He is lagging behind.

Okay.. as I've said before... I've lost my list of lists.... and I can't keep track of anything....
Who is doing the Bounty Adventure in Curacao??? Has anyone booked online? Will they pick us up at the Ship? Can someone send me the link .. I think we are definately going to do this now that we can't do the Papagayo whitewater rafting in Acapulco.:sad2: Anyone who might have been waiting for that... I got an email from the public relations director of that tour since I was going to book online directly... she said they will not be doing any rafting tours in May because of the low level of the river. :worried: Guess we'll go see the divers after all... :rolleyes2

Georgie... glad to see you made it thru the test. I'm sure you did fine... we have faith in you!! That berry berry berry good ice cream sounds BERRY GOOD! :rotfl2:

Geez, Kelli, what were you doing to hurt your knee? Haven't we warned you enough times that you're getting too old to participate in the long jump? ;) ;) Beth

I was thinking I should have kept my mouth shut......hoping no one "in the know" would ask that question!! Actually, this is the 3rd and most serious swelling since Feb---but no bruises, and no pics worth posting on the web this time!! I DID NOT HURT MYSELF THIS YEAR, but my knee is wanting to prove me wrong!!

Thanks for the opinions on acupuncture, I'm not completely averse to the idea, but Bill Engvall's latest CD is still fresh in my mind. If she sticks a cotton ball on the needles and lights them on fire, I'm oughtta there!!! :earseek:

pirate: Heading down to Whole Foods for a class on making sauerbrauten soon. That's why I was babying it all day, gotta choose my battles......

Kelli

Kelli,
Acupuncture is great, I used to have chronic head aches, the acupuncture cured me of them, you don't feel the needles after they are put in, and it is a very relaxing session. I come out feeling very relaxed.
Lynn

Serena - thanks for the link to the finales - I'm glad to see that the Amazing Race will finish before we leave.

Georgie - I'm glad your test is done and I'm sure you did great. I know what you mean about that guy disturbing you - when I was writing my professional accounting exams I had a guy beside me that kept sighing and it was driving me nuts - but then again I probably drove people nuts when mid way through our 4 hour exam I stopped and had a chocolate bar and a pop - I needed to rest my hands from all the writing because I suffer from arthritis - just 10 - 15 minutes was all I needed but I did get some pretty strange stares - I didn't care - I passed my exam and I know you will too!!!

Just think everyone at this time in 4 weeks the horn will be sounding and we'll be starting our adventure....I can't wait to meet everyone.

Thanks Jeff & Jen for updating the masterlist with the pictures - now to remember what everyone looks like!!!!

Elaine

Lynda, Saw I Scion at the PO this am. The lady waiting in the passenger seat looked like she wanted to duck down when I was looking at that monstrosity!! I can definitely see Cash hanging out there! ::yes::

Georgie, VERY happy you made it out alive....that rustling-papers guy was a plant to confuse you! Cold Stone is a VERY close 2nd to :mickeybars....and the berries are wonderful!!! Sinless sweet cream with strawberries, blueberries and raspberries for me!!! (Unless I intend to be REALLY bad, then its coffee lovers!!! And don't forget the black forest chocolate cherry one!)

Glad our closest is in Fort Collins--oh wait, that's where Whole Foods is too.....maybe dessert for the road home....

Kelli :wave2:

Yes, it is my goal to re-arrange all my excursions and get that done early next week. I am doing to cancel my day room at the Hilton and do the Bounty Adventures and the Sea Aquarium. I'm going to cancel the DCL cliff diver thing and do it on my own. And, I can't remember what I booked for Cabo, but my DH is thinking of just hanging at Cabo Wabo!

Hi Jen (JenKatt)

I just noticed under you user name it says you're an Itty Bitty Baby Nurse - one of my good friends is a neonatal nurse at our local Children's Hospital.
