Yes Thunder Over Louisville will go on if it's raining as long as it isn't a downpour drenching type rain.... the air show will be curtailed, but that's cool with me. I've watched them practice all day long. F15, F16, Warthogs, C141, C130, WW1 and WW2 planes ---- had my windows rattled all day! it's been fun watch them swishing down at break neck speed. Loops and snaprolls.

Then the huge supercell thunderboomers. It's been exciting. California has nothing on KY when it comes to weather...I've missed it something terrible.

Mow? Moi? Only if you have a Cub Cadet air conditioned riding mower.

I'm in the Audubon Park Area. oooh a mini meet except i'm traveling off and on for the next few weekends.

( I've been compared to Mama Cass, without the voice. )

No problems here. A while ago I had to clear all cookies and history in order to make it work.

I feel sorry for them... they will be many posts behind!!

Speaking of Carlsbad, if anyone has time after the cruise and will be in the San Diego area, Legoland is a fantastic theme park! We don't even have kids and love it there.

There is definitely more for kids to do but adults should have fun and be able to better appreciate the talent involved in recreating famous landmarks and cities out of Legos. Admission is a little steep but it is a great park!

I used to work across the street from it. From some of the offices, you could see the top of the lift hill of Dragon, one of the best kiddie roller coasters I've been on!

Great location you can head north or you can head south

SO...I was really excited to get to work this morning at 6:35- planning to read the boards AND the website is blocked!!!

Anyways the "no docs" song for today was...."Enjoy the silence" by Depeche Mode---as I won't be posting too much this weekend. Your Friday, is my Monday---of to work I go.

I had my TA book by romance at sea package today, and when I told my husband he was amused, "let me know who he is." Too funny.

Work was CRAZY...busy.

I had three patients...in the AM
then I sent one to the floor...
then I go one more....
then I sent him to another hospital....had 2 in the PM- total of 4.

I can promise any other nurse or MD on this board that today- I had more interesing patients than you did....
1- Pancreatitis-
2- ARDS on a vent
3- ARE YOU READY- necrotizing fascitis- yeah that is the one transferred to another hospital- had to go to hyperbaric. (flesh eating bacteria)


I also bought my blinkie flip-flops. I found them with ease despite the lack of help from the salesgirl.

Wes: We will try Hold Em.. if you get a beginners table together we're in...LOL DH wants to know if anyone plays Eucher.... I think you have to be from Wisconsin to know that game!!! Cards are something to keep my hands busy while I chat....

Pappy: Lucky you.. we decided to try Paradise Pier so no points reduction for us... bummer!

Kara: Sorry you had such a crappy day... but at least now it's the weekend and only 21 more days till we're sailing away!

Debbie: 6-12 inches of SNOW??? What have you people in Ohio done to Mother Nature to get SNOW in April??

Kendra: We are bringing fins... it's a long way out there..... I have had the 3.99 snorkel set from Big Lots...started with that when we first snorkeled and it worked fine...for a while, didn't last long... just check it first in the bathtub or something to make sure there are no cracks in the snorkel.

Peter: How did you upgrade at the port? When you checked in? Did they give you a better rate? Been considering this as a surprise to Joe since it's our anniversary. Have been HOPING DCL would see that and cut us a break.

Poor, Kara! I'd start walking to FL if I were you......just start early!

Btw, how much are your parking tickets? Ours are $15 if they haven't gone up recently....glad only a few places are enforced, and I'm not usually in that part of town!!! I remember when they were "only" $2 and we thought that was awful!!!

No docs for me, no email from Disney telling me that they will be using the pictures I submitted for the Happiest Faces on Earth and no golden ticket to the May 4th event. In my best Veruca Salt voice, "I want it NOW!"

I find it extremely strange that for most of my life I was the only Leslie that I knew... used to accuse my mom when i was younger that she made the name up... Now here I am on the DIS boards for this cruise and there are 3 of us?? All going on the cruise and all on the DIS And someone even spells it like I do.. which for my life was always harassed that it was the MALE spelling... very strange... okay. I guess it's time to go to bed after those deep thoughts....
