With all this talk about Utah Food, I wonder if the chefs on the Magic are thinking of doing a “Utah Food Theme Night?”

That was my thoughts.................We could each just bring our recipes (Utah ones only) and those of us with ties to Utah get to be the Honorary Mickey Chefs in the galley and we will have an 11 p.m. Utah Food Night.

Let's see.......................Kay-when can we fit that into our schedule?

Oh and then I'll need to do a Mini-Recipe Book from Utah along with the Mini-Navigator, and the Scrapbooking with Seaulater Book..........................

I just have way to much free time on my hands!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

WARNING..............WARNING....................

LADIES.....................DO NOT...............I REPEAT.....................DO NOT.......................

GO INTO COLDWATER CREEK!!!!!

I shouldn't have walked into that store last night after Jamie's performance, but everything was looking so good off in the distance through the windows.

Needless to say.....................I spent way too much and now I have more to pack and I haven't even started packing suitcases yet!!

I now have to get some work done!!!!

Linda

We don't got no stinking documents!!!!!
Hope to start getting packed today. Man is it getting close.
Trouble keeping up with you guys due to limited on line ability with the kids and their troubles.
We have finally settled the issue of school work that Billy will miss over the last two weeks. It only took months and months or repeated requests to get them to make any decisions that were viable. Unable to really send anything from that ship and expect it to get there before May 28. Unless we fax at $9 a minute depending on carrier. But then we need a printer. :guilty: :guilty:
Georgie, plan on sending the stuff to you today if I can get to the post office.
Are you going to be at home for the next 4-6 days?

Oh.......................a very low calorie, Utah dish.....................served at every "public function" when you have to bring a buffet (not Buffett) dish. :rotfl:

they are potatoes which are shredded (I use frozen hash browns) and you put them into a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Then you take this lovely low calorie mixture that you have cooked over the heat that includes lots and lots of cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, green onions, a little garlic salt, butter, and then you mix it into the shredded potatoes. Then you take Kellogg's Corn Flakes and crush them and add more melted butter. Then you throw in the oven for about 30-40 minutes and ta-da...........................you are now eating official funeral potatoes.

Green jello...........now that's another story that only Utahn's can appreciate!!!! However, if you have the official original 2002 Winter Olympics jello pin, you could probably have paid for your cruise!!!!

Linda :cool1:

I had those for the first time at, of all places, my grandfather's funeral, a few years ago. They were fantastic, albeit a bit strange.

Got home late last night, and am getting ready to walk out the door to fly to Phoenix for my nephew's blessing.

And, just found out that although I was supposed to be home for the next two weeks, so that I could prep for the cruise, I am now heading to Seattle in a week for a couple of days. Grrrr... :faint: :rolleyes2

14 Days To Go
Good Morning everyone. :sunny:

I'm ready. Well, ready to go. Start packing next week.

Just a quick check before I go to the March of Dimes walk with my brother. Not a very good morning for it, but it is for a good cause and it is one of our club's activities.
Not really functioning well this morning. Late night. For me anyway. Almost turned into a pumpkin. Actually, we went out for dinner and ran into an old friend from HS and his wife. They were celebrating their wedding aniversary. Neat.

"I ran into a chum,
With a bottle of rum.
and we wound up drinking all night"

Hey! That would make a good song. :)

Just thought I'd say good morning. It's suppose to be nice in California although not very warm yet - only in the 60's :sunny: but that's better than Scott and his snow.

Glad everyone is having fun shopping. I think I'm through and will also get the suitcases out and start seriously thinking about what I'm going to put in them this week.

I just had two hard weeks at work. Get to work at home next week and then I'm done for the month of May

Hope everyone has a great day. DD (13) and I are going to a Mother-Daughter Tea. It should be fun.

Just found you guys....Myself,DH, DS17, we are on deck 6, I think 6106, this is our DS first cruise, he is concerned that there will not be any other teens his age because of the length of the cruise. Any other teens going?
It sounds like deck 6 will be quite a jumping deck!
Well Welcome Dopeylover54! Glad you found us...you are just a couple of cabins down the hall from us! We'll be saying "hello" very soon!

Jamie is performing at the March of Dimes Walk today. Headed home here in a few minutes so we can head downtown for that extravaganza. She is there from 10 am - 1 pm. Then we are headed to a place called Thanksgiving Point for the annual tulip festival and she is performing there at 3 p.m. (Getting all geared up and fine tuned for performing at Disneyland next weekend!)

Hey Shari-what is the weather outlook for Disneyland next weekend?

Good morning everyone! :sunny: only 2 more weeks! :sunny:

Thanks Peter for the link, what a nice shot of the Magic! Packing and laundry for me today as well. Boxes will be packed and ready to send off to the port on Monday.....still no documents, but due Tuesday.

Linda, I love Coldwater Creek. I've been shopping their catalog for years! Online has so much more to chose from (love their closeout sales)

DD is coming home today from college for the summer! I guess I'll have more laundry than I could dream of doing :rotfl:

Robin

Hey Robin stop in here - I'll show you laundry!
Just yesterday I said I should gather it up and head to the laundrymat and get it all done at once (I was only half-joking)
I do remember tying to eek it out to the end of every semester, because what was the point in doing laundry when you were going to be going home soon anyway? ;)

I should have taken Kara's advice and gone with the Target suitcase - now It's a race to see which makes it here sooner, Our docs or the suitcase I ordered online. Oh well, at least I have an excuse for not getting my stuff packed yet. Better just keep on shopping.

OK off to little league for us - have a great Saturday all!

Thanks for the definition of funeral potatoes. Sounds yummy - but what a depressing name! Wonder how many carbs in them! :earseek:

Have a good day everyone! Off to the Bowers Museum to see their new Mummy exhibit!

Kendra

Yay, just got us tickets for Fantasmic on Monday, May 30, which is our last chance to see it at Disneyland. Apparently, I was the first caller!!!
:cool1:  :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :jumping1: :dancer: :thewave:

Just heard from my TA that my docs were mailed UPS 3 day service on the 28th. So hopefully I'll be dancing soon!!!

Love Coldwater Creek, have spent way too much there in the past. I think I'm finished shopping, but you never know!

HAY first timers we talked to you on the holiday 04 cruise

but you never got a cruise shirt did we atleast give you an ornament???? lets us know we still have some they look good on the tree. NO are tree is still not up., :confused3 :confused3 :rolleyes1 THANK YOU KARA gaRry

We were not part of the Disboard group on the Christmas cruise but we did talk to many people who were, that's why we are here now. You know, you don't need a tree for ornaments. We have 4-5 Mickey ornament display hangers so our Disney ornaments are up year round (plus others are hanging off shelves). Our Disney room is running out of wall and cabinet space: may have to build an expansion to the back of the house.

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc ONLY 14 MORE DAYS :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
