Anyone ver stay in 6650? If so, do you have photos of the room/veranda/view?

I heard someone mention the rear rooms don't have the steamer trunk to store stuf in. Is this true? If so, is there other/additional storage to make up for the MIA steamer trunk? Everytime we cruise, we take up every once of storage space in our room.

Yes Elaine, Jeff really does drive monorails and will also get to drive them at DL via a ride share program that the company has set up...

Do people really like flip flops that much? I have a friend at work who makes these amazing flip flops. I bought a pair for the cruise and debating a second pair.... I'll post a pic of them, if anyone is interested let me know...

Marlene will make these in what ever color of basic flip flops she can find. The thong part of the flip flop has been crocheted with eyelash yarm and some very funky riboon type yarn. She can leave the eyelash stuff off. She charges around $20-$22 a pair depending on what you want. If anyone is interested let me know soon, PM or email me. I'll see her Wednesday and I can talk with her then....

Well we will have 2 boxes (the ones that paper comes in) and actually have thought about a third. But I do not think it will come to that LOL.

We will not have additional piece fees...at least going down to Florida

Now if they made blinkie thingy Birkenstocks.....that would be cool

Great take on flipflops. Sign me up! I like the pair in the picture. I wear 6 1/2 shoe, but usually in the flipflops the sizes are combined so... 6-7, or 7-8 would be great! I will also send a PM

When do you guys think is the best time to ship the box ahead? I don't want it there too early, but not too late.

And, here is what I have packed in the box:

laundry det / dryer sheets
hangers
pop-up hamper from the dollar store
over door clear shoe holder
snacks (peanuts, pringles)
lotion
shampoo/conditioner
soap
electrical powerstrip
sunscreen

What are some other good things? I don't plan on bringing home anything I pack in the box. It is all disposable, consumable or throw away stuff.

Anyone have Verizon cell phones? I'm not sure about the coverage. I looked onsite, but it looks phone specific. I'm guessing that my DH and I won't be able to just 'chat' for free like here. It looked like if we had the right phones, we could roam in Mexico for some big $$$ per minute. I expect for emergency only.

Any other thoughts?

We are going to mail our boxes the end of this week, no later than Monday 4/18. We are also mailing our alcohol, along with the gift bags, a few snacks. Like most of you..disposable stuff we won't be bringing back home with us.

Bob and I love Texas Hold'em..count us in.

Can't believe that we are getting so close.

And my sister told me over the weekend that they decided to go to WDW next May, and wants DH and I to go to show them around, so now I will have something to look forward to after we get home.

High of 90 and Low of 74.

Not bad, can't wait for the heat.
