Hey Scott, you've visted my native land....I said to my Mom that you had canoed in James Bay & Hudson's Bay ...I said that's not far from us.....then I thought about it....yes it is....now if you had canoed near Niagara Falls...you would have been a 30 minute "stone's throw" from us!!!!!! Scrap that idea...not sure if you can even canoe anywhere near the Falls - if you did you would probably either be in jail or have a criminal record!!!

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed.

I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What has been done in the past is that the Navigator was posted, before we left on a website and then people could print out if they wanted.

Still Feel That DISNEY CRUISE LINE : Will alter the Route.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

Donald Ducky Williams, will be onboard and we will recieve 2 Lithographs
1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

Mickbee: When is your anniversary? We are celebrating 29 Magical years on the cruise as well. We were going to do a big trip for our 30th next year but when this cruise came up... we decided to celebrate 29 instead...LOL esp since we set sail right on our anniversary!


That CDC stuff was scary but they do have to go all out and cover all bases. Joe is going to the doc on Tuesday for something else so he is going to ask what they suggest. I personally am not worried since we're not venturing deep into the jungle or anything ... but I am a mosquito magnet... so maybe I better drink a lot of Gin & Tonic instead of margaritas..... or maybe in addition to the margaritas....

I dont think there is a time limit I ordered my Tux about 2 weeks ago.Also for the Repo cruise the rate of $85 normally for 7 days is for the whole 14 days so it is a good offer

I called these folks a couple days ago as well. They said you could order up to one week from sailing. They deliver to your stateroom and pick up the last night. They said they are they only authorized DCL tux company.

Okay................don't know if anyone is interested in taking on a task.............but Laurie and I were talking via PM and I mentioned to her on the 10 day that I had made "tent cards" with everyone's pirate names for dinner on pirate night. There were 13 of us in our family on the cruise. I took clip art of Captain Hook and some other pirate stuff off one of the Disney sites and put things like...................Aarg........Ye Buxom Beauty.............Here sits Deadeye Jane (and so on and so forth)

Anyway, when we sat down for dinner that night I put the tent cards in front of each pirate at the table and then I told our servers that they could only call us by our pirate names at dinner and that we wouldn't answer to our normal names! The servers had a blast and so did we.

Well, since I'm doing the Mini Navigators, I don't have time to make tent cards for everyone for dinner that night, but Laurie thought someone out there is our Dis Board land might be looking to take on a project in their free time.....

Any takers out there?

..He met a dolphin in Tortola and several colorful butterflies at the butterfly rancho in St. Maarten but also met a significant behavioral challenge when faced with a fallen handler and the bare butt of a male swimmer who was showering off after a dip at Orient beach....Too much to contemplate for both of us....

There is a REALLY GOOD story in here somewhere...I just know there is...

That is definite conversation starter...LOL...

Sooooo, if I was contemplating having our sailaway gifts in the terminal to hand out while everyone is getting lanyards, eating girl scout cookies and talking about our different high schools we went to together, would you guys think this was a good idea or are people too burdened with their carryons and such.

I just seem to remember a good bit of line standing for a while before they let us on and I thought it might make for a good opportunity to get some of them out there before boarding...and then bring whatever doesnt get out to the 5 o clock gathering....(yes, I will try to make the 3pm, but I cant make any promises)

Just still pondering...I spend way too much time thinking about this!!

Oh - an where is the 5 pm meet exactly??? I bet it is on the info guide... I will now go re-read it....have I mentioned I am really excited yet today??? we are really in the 40's....unbelievable....

WHOA - what a nice thought. Did they tell you that DCL would not perform any ceremony or anyone else could not perform any ceremony??

Could someone else do it?? I personally have married couples on other cruise lines (Carnival) with no problem at all. The ceremonies were beautiful.

Would they let you rent a room/lounge on the 2nd deck - or other deck) for an afternoon or evening?

If you can find a way, I'll be there for both of you...... would love to do it

Yup today's the day....2:12 pm actually!!!!! My Mom was scared I'd be born in April...you see I was "supposed" to be born earlier in the month (I tell my Mom I was worth the wait!!!) and my great aunt kept telling my Mom how many days she had to have a girl so I could inherit the family heirloom aquamarine ring. Needless to say...I heard jewellery and decided to make my appearance!!!!! (I didn't end up getting the ring because when my great aunt died, no one could find the ring)

P.S. What's really cool is that my brother & I are both born on the 31st of a month - he December (yup Mom spend News Years Eve in the hospital) and me March (not sure if it was Easter weekend or not - Mom thinks it may have been!!!)
