If you get kicked out of the chatroom it's because your name is already used. Add some numbers after your name and you won't have problems...Mark

Well, I must be doing something wrong. I keep getting kicked out. Doesn't even get to the point to ask me a password. But, I added a bunch of numbers to my name and it still didn't work. :confused3

Just got back in from my UK business trip. Weather was great much warmer that N.J. Glad to be home, now to catch up on about six pages of posts.

Mini review:
Went Friday night while in London to see Marry Poppins the musical. The show was great, special effects very cool, and the sets just amazing. Great show can't wait to see it when if/when it makes it's why to Broadway.

Hi,

We've never used a chat room before. Followed the chat room help instructions by putting in nickname and clicking "connect". At that point all we get is screen saying "you've not registered". No request for password.

Help, Bob :badpc: :badpc:

Make sure you type in your nickname in both the user name and nickname lines. Don't use your regular name as a common first name is probably registered. Use for instance Bob257 or something like that.

Alot of people in chat, but scroll down to the second green login screen the first one will not let you in, had the same problem

Are you trying the bottom chat room? Also try using an off name, there are many other chat rooms and if you choose one that is already in use you will not be allowed to get in...mark

Hi everyone, Kim here...

I have a suggestion for delivering the sailiaway gifts. There is a real issue that items will likely disappear from some stateroom fish/doors before you get a you get a chance to claim anything, also the fish are pretty small and will likely not hold a lot of stuff. My thought to throw into the ring is, how about on a sea day 2 or day 3 day we have an informal meet perhaps arpund 10 am , we could probably use the bar lounge area by the internet station on deck three, I am pretty sure they are not open early in the day. This way everyone can socialize with each other at sailaway, no one has to carry gifts with them( you could ship them down ahead) and if something was scheduled elsewhere on the ship then just have one member of the family stop by..

Just my thoughts, Hope to make the 9 pm chat...

Bye, Kim

Hi,

We're planning on bringing a sailaway gift surprise and have been wondering how the distribution would work.

Kim's idea looks like a great way to make Saturday afternoon a little less hectic and will enable everyone to relax and enjoy the sailaway (especially if items being shipped haven't made it to the staterooms in time).

Is the chat still going on? I tried several times to get in and couldn't. Have no idea why... it just wouldn't let me in even with the password. Oh well... I really wanted to join in.
On a lighter note... FINALLY got my llittle cruise excursion booklet today! Guess it had to go thru the TA.

EnnisB, that is so cool! I hope it does make it to broadway. My DD is a theatre major in college, and will be spending a semester in London her junior year. She is going for a BFA in stage management. I doubt she wants "Mom" to come visit, but I am really tempted. I haven't been to London since 1983!

Welcome back, and only 7 more weeks!

Robin

Just left the chat it is still going on. Make sure you use the second login box which is green. Scroll down to find it the top one doesn't work.

I agree with you on that one! Kim has a really good idea. I would hate to have things "removed" from the fish, and with so many people at the sailaway, passing out gifts would be distracting.

What does everyone else think?

Sorry you were not able to get into the chat....this was first attempt at "chatting" and I had a tough time getting in....I think it took me 5 tries to finally let me in....then I didn't know how to get out but one of the "chatters" helped me out.

HAPPY EASTER Everyone

Time to make a Bunny Cake....Heavy Carb day with Hot Cross Buns for breakfast.

Finished with SCUBA classes for a while, and Lynn and I actually have a day off together!!!!!! :cool1:

Will call DCL today to see if we have a Life Boat Number for our Suite.

On the inaugural Western DCL sold a shoulder day size pack, with three zippered pockets, pretty nice. Wonder if they will have something like that for this cruise???
