Hi everyone, Kim here...

I have a suggestion for delivering the sailiaway gifts. There is a real issue that items will likely disappear from some stateroom fish/doors before you get a you get a chance to claim anything, also the fish are pretty small and will likely not hold a lot of stuff. My thought to throw into the ring is, how about on a sea day 2 or day 3 day we have an informal meet perhaps arpund 10 am , we could probably use the bar lounge area by the internet station on deck three, I am pretty sure they are not open early in the day. This way everyone can socialize with each other at sailaway, no one has to carry gifts with them( you could ship them down ahead) and if something was scheduled elsewhere on the ship then just have one member of the family stop by..

Just my thoughts, Hope to make the 9 pm chat...

Here is the plan:

One BIG Mini-DisBoard Navigator, to be handed out in DCL terminal and if we don't meet up then, it will be on your fish (whale).

Each night, I will make up a one page "update/changes" if needed, and one will be posted on each floor at the door of the "stateroom volunteer".

So................Zazu's crew will not need to go to every door every night. There might be one or two "special" deliveries during the cruise, but I will arrange prior to with Zazu's crew.

Hope that clears things up.

We are now at the movie theater waiting to see Miss Congeniality II and am checking in on the important stuff.

I just spoke with the Big Lots store near my house here in Indy. The guy there seemed real informed about laundry tablets. He said that previously , the purex ones existed, but, then, the only ones left were tide. Wal-Mart was the last retailer to have detergent tablets and now , no more. They aren't being sold anywhere anymore.

I am very happy with my liquid Tide in the sample size from Target -- 4 loads for $1.00. Can't beat it. I'm shipping it down in my box of stuff to arrive early.

2. What if each stateroom brought a large brown paper bag with them to the sailaway party, We could put our stateroom in large letters on the front, we could line them up on the deck and just drop the gifts for each stateroom into them?

How about if on the first sea day, we all go to the mickey pool, pick a lounge chair, place big tote bags on them and leave them there all day. People could just drop the goodies there all day at their convenience. Of course, with all the goodies on the chairs, you might want to reserve another chair for sitting. I'm sure the other cruisers won't mind.

Back to the laundry subject. I prefer liquid, but for fun I ran a search, and Amway still sells tablets. They are made by a parent company called Quixtar, and you can purchase them online, beware, they are very expensive! SA8 tablets.....

As for sailaway gifts, I was just going to hand them out to whomever was at the sailaway party and will hold on to a few for later. I think we will figure out who are DIS'rs No 2 gifts are alike. There are others handing out similar gifts, but the more the merrier!!
