Hey Bob, did ya decide on the Tux yet??????

Meanwhile, I'm still thinking......

Did look at one at Penney's the other day.
Ruffled shirt? Iiiiiiiiiiii don't know. But then, I could use it on pirate night too.

BTW Scott, knowing my location, how far am I from CC?

I AM PAID IN FULL! :cool1:

Boy does that feel good! Now I still need to pay the balance on my stay at Disneyland Hotel, will do that soon. With us being down to 102 days left, we can book excursions in only 12 more :teeth:

My job does not allow us to be online at work, we get the BIG HAND of the internet cop. I seem to miss so much during the day here........

Shari, I love the group photo - Laurie, I am going to stay with Brunhilda Pink Toe for my pirate name - and poor Jen :flower3: I hope you feel better real soon.

I have a question about the time for the sailaway party? If it is at 4:00, don't we have to be at our safety drill spots at that time? Or am I all confused? I thought the ship actually sailed away at 5:00?

I ordered patterns online at Butterick.com the other day, and they arrived today! Now I have to go find some fabric. Wonder what would go with my "pink toe" pirate: :rotfl:

Rcostello1, I have been trying to get into the online reservations with Disney tonight, and keep getting a "busy" message. I am on a waitlist to move my CAT 7 higher up (currently on deck 5) Did you happen to notice if there were any CAT 7's?

Robin (aka Brunhilda Pink Toe pirate: )

Don't forget to count us in on the sailaway party

Seaulater and Mr. Seaulater (Linda and Robert

and my parents

Larry and Nancy. So that's a total of 4.

Linda

moocow35, I don't think I saw cat 7s available, verandah rooms were cat 6 and higher.

Did i read somewhere that tux rental was going to be the same as the 7 day prices? Might have read that in the regular threads...don't remember, thought maybe someone might know.

Disneydreamer8,
Count in my party of four for the sail away party. Me, Bill, 3DAN, Angela, coasternut-Billy, atari02- Kristen, puppies101. Kara, we will be arriving by Southern elegance . We will leave the Hyatt MCO at 9:15AM on the 14th. Do you think it will be okay. Scott H, weren't you looking to upgrade to a cat 3? Did you get called or am I mistaken? Lynda,, videogal, we will be staying at the Hyatt with you guys. However, We won't get in until late, say around 7-7:30.
Also, where is the site for pirate names? We need to go there. Finally,,,,,
The principal who encouraged us to go and gave us permission to get out of school the last two weeks, was killed in a tragic car accident Saturday. He was guiding Billy personally due to Billy's young age in the seventh grade. Please say a prayer for Scott Bostick of Traders Point Christian Academy in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are having trouble dealing with it.

Sorry to hear about Mr. Bostick. I had read that in the Star and for some reason it got me wondering if that was the school that your son attended.
40 years old is much too young.

I have a proposal for the group. What if we have two get togethers instead of just one on the first day. First, for those that get on board early, I would propose we have a Dis Meet at 3:00pm on Deck 10 Starboard side overlooking the Goofy pool. At that point, people who want to get together to say hello can and we can hand out name badges and lanyards at that time for those that are around. Then, we break for the safety drill at 4:00pm and return for the Sail-away party in the same location after the drill and party until we drop.

I know I would really like to meet and talk prior to the noise of the Sail-away party.

Anyone have an opinion on that proposal (yeah right, like no one here has an opinion - :confused3 )

Hi All,

Does anyone have any recommendations for Limo companies in CA to go from the port to DL? I would like to compare the cost of a shuttle vs a limo.

How long is the ride from the port (name?) to GC?

Have fun!

I've never used a limo company here in the Los Angeles area but the ride from San Pedro (Port of Los Angeles) to Disneyland should take about 30 mintues (with no traffic). All you have to do is take Highway 110 to Highway 405 to Highway 22 to Harbor Blvd and turn left to get to the Disneyland area. Nothing to it.

Since we will be landing on a Saturday, you should have a good chance to make the 30 minute estimate. But with LA traffic, and the holiday weekend, I wouldn't bet money on it.

Well, then, we shall all meet you at the offramp with huge name signs, large banners, flash cameras and a throng of people...ALERT THE MEDIA!!

Or, maybe a little before-cruise how-de-doo.....

:rotfl2:

Really sorry to hear of your sad news....

Well, I like it...One of my biggest regrets on the 10-day was getting to everything late...starting with the sailaway party. If there are two and I manage to get an earlier shuttle to the port than the one from the Poly at Christmas, I'll have half a chance....

Thanks Ken! Sounds good to me. Somehow I have a feeling that quite a few of us will be at the port at the crack of dawn (didn't I read about someone camping? :rotfl2: ) I know staying just down the road a piece at Ron Jon's, I will be there bright and early. Undoubtedly getting yelled at by the security guards! Can the Palo and Spa ressies be made prior to 3:00?

On the 10 day, we started boarding at a little before noon as I remember. We got on at about 12:20 or so and went right to Rockin Bar D for Palo reservations. They were open at that time and taking reservations. I believe the spa is open for reservations also, but we didn't do that so I don't have direct knowledge. I'm sure someone here knows when the spa starts taking reservations.
