Thanks for the paint clues. My dufflebags are a bright blue, kind of like we see on this board, they just scream for some decorations. I was only able to find the circles, glove,mickey head & running mickey, perhaps I will have to make another trip. Did you heat set your paint on the suitcases ?? Not sure if I should attempt that...

Here we go with another trend, the castmembers will have to work hard to keep up with our great group...

True, but they are not freshly baked. Sometimes if you are early enough, the creme filled ones are a little frozen inside (actually pretty good that way!)

I also have Disney suitcases. Anyone have a set of Disney's that they are taking??? Doing anything to them??

Just a couple of notes you may want to be aware of for the fantasmic viewing at DL.

There are now two "private viewing sections" There is upstairs on the balcony with the deserts and there is downstairs by the river with box deserts in reserved seating.

You may want to call Disney Dining DL to verify that you can call and make a ressie for 21 prior to the 28th as I remember the balcony seating you can only make a ressie for 4 or 8 people at a time.

If you call before the 28th they will tell you how many people you can make a ressie for. Ask specifically about the balcony because a lot of times they will ust quote VIP seating.

For the true animals going to DL

For the fireworks after you have seen them once....There is a good viewing in DL for the fireworks show in Fantasyland byu Pinnochos and the old Skyway station. Hint: Look away from the fireworks and watch out for that mattress.

Got home late last night and my "party box" from Oriental Trading had arrived!!!!

Didn't have time to open it as I had to stay up until 1 a.m. this morning making posters for DD for cheerleading tryouts and 100 necklaces to hand out to students to vote for her. She made the first cut on Monday from 75 down to 12 and finals are next week and I think they choose 4. Students vote and then the "expert panel" weighs in on their choice also. Figure that out?????

Made 100 "J" necklaces. Cut out 100 4 inch die cut letter J's in various colors and then wrote on each one "Jump Up and Vote 4 Jamie Neeley for Spiritleader". Then had to use ribbons to make "necklaces".

This is cutting into my Disney time! I have other things to do before coming on the cruise!

Road trip cut short, quick trip with success. Hope to at least have this Sunday off.

Lynn was great and sewed the patches on a hat and a cheap (dollar store) day pack for me. Day pack is to keep, camera, GPS, my trip log, and binoculars handy. She also put one on her carry on pack.

We have decided to just buy laundry soap in FL before the cruise. So should anyone need some during the cruise I would expect we should have some left over.

Will do the formal thing and all the others. Dress code for the Tiki Bar is a grass skirt.

Friday is my sons birthday(20) and we are buying a new car Honda Jazz He is away at college most of the time where they are not allowed to have a car as they live in the college grounds(but he will be able to use it in the vacations)
I have asked the dealer to put happy birthday balloons on the car,so it will be a big surprise when we go to the dealer with him to collect it.We are going to take photos when we get there.

LOL I feel your pain Linda! Still getting over the cold contracted from my over achieving, overworked role as Assistant Play Director! On a good note, lost a few pounds from my inability to sit on the couch as much as normal during the last couple of weeks - so I'm off to a seamstress to get a couple of dresses taken in!

I lost count of how many hours devoted and how much money it was costing after the first few weeks!
Much different from when I was in high school many, many years ago.

DD's HS Spiritline won Nationals just a few weeks ago. (Technically Western Nationals I guess as they competed in Anaheim and I know there is a competition in Orlando as well) They had an after hours party at DCA and spent some time at the parks - they really had a lot of fun!

I had something to bring also, but found out that someone else had the same thing. Now I'll use them for the Sept. DVC cruise. As it is, we need to take an extra large suitcase empty to bring everything back home in.
