If my calculations are correct, 1 week from tomorrow is when we can make all the priority reservations at Disneyland. I'll be calling for my own priority seating at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. I still have to figure out the rest of it in the next week.

Rob (rcostello1) how are we going to work the payment to you if you are making our group reservations for Fantasmic balcony seating? Paypal or checks? From what I understand these can also be make at the 60 day mark, and require a credit card. From what I understand is if you do the first seating, they let you stay there to watch the fireworks ;)

Since it's been almost 2 years since our last Disney cruise, can someone tell me now where all the computers are located and approximately how many? I remember when they only had about 8 machines, you couldn't get near them!

Also - the "Teens and Tweens" signups are very, very slow. I'm hoping all those kids out there will send me their info. so they can have a good list of potential buddies for the cruise. For confidentiality, send first names only. I won't publish the list to anyone who isn't on it, just the kids that sign up (and will confirm this with a cross-reference to the "Look Who's Going" list.) You can't be too careful when it comes to the kids!

Elaine, I made the mistake in my younger years and was driving across the border in Windsor, ONT, The Canadian Customs officer asked if I had any weapons, I responded “ no but I got a pretty mean left hook", then I got to go to the special garage. Then there was this time at the US-Mexico border….. well I'll save that for another time. No Secondary Inspection that time.

Hey, they chaise lounge is better then last cruisetoberfest with us (2 years ago) when they kicked you out of your room and into the stairwell.

But now I know how comfortable the lounge chairs are... Also, if you put 2 of the chairs together on deck 3 lobby, boy can you be comfortable....

I just heard the following rumor:

Seems the latest rumors from the Disney Cruise Line suggests that Disney may be planning on adding two new ships instead of just one. The rumor mentions that the new ship(s) would be of a different design and be “Panamax” in size so they will be able to use the Panama Canal. The earliest these ships could join the fleet would be sometime in 2006.

I have nothing else to say :confused3

Robin, That would be great if we can try for ressies 2 months out. I was told 30 days for Fantasmic. I also heard that the first seating may be allowed to stay for the fireworks. :flower:

Can you believe just HOW CLOSE WE ARE TO CRUSING!!! :jumping1:

Who is this dog?
If you're a DVC member you may recognize this guy.
He's the unofficial mascott of the resort that he resides at.

I haven't been there, but isn't this the mascot at Disney's Hilton Head Resort? It probably doesn't count since I don't know his name.

Can't wait to hear the US-Mexico border story. I learned very early working for the Government that you do not make any jokes or that when you are crossing a border.

Bob, would a good hint be what Peter Pan lost in Wendy's room.

Elaine, Funny as I now also work for the Government.

That is our dog Sebastian, he is laying right here at my feet while I type this about him!

Of course, his name comes from The Little Mermaid. Our "Sebastian" is 12 years old. Great, loving dog!

Thanks, everyone for the birthday wishes.....we went to Macaroni Grill with my brother's family, as his Bday was last week. They sing "Happy Birthday to You" in Italian.....what a voice this guy had.....

I'm thinking one day I might get to Disney for my Bday, but with it being spring break-ish time and all--I have to settle for an Italian guy in Colorado!!! :hyper:

Kay, Thanks for the Bday card, looks like that's a fulltime job for you!

I got my suitcase out and started putting in the clothes I don't think I'll get to wear before the cruise, shorts will probably still be new in May!!! And also started a box to ship down. 52 days til we leave home!!

Yes. You're good. It took me a while. You know too much Disney.

You probably work for a better Department than I do....all I can say is that I work for the most hated Department of the Canadian Government but I work in section that people actually like us calling!!!!! I however LOVE my job and all the people tha I work with, so I wouldn't trade it for a minute. I am either the most popular person at a party or the most ignored...just depends on the time of year!!!!!!!!!!!

Elaine

As of last spring Walmart sold Purex detergent in tablets. Not as good as Tide, but easy to carry. They also had palmolive dish wipes, which I liked to take for washing out sippy cups and baby bottles in the room.

Hi epjenk

Have you sent your info into Jeff for the Master List. Lots of stuff is based on the "Master List" and we would hate to see you miss out. So, if you get a chance, your may want to take a look at the list and then send your info into Jeff.

Check it out at: http://www.tiggerfan.net/canal/

I am so excited to see the asterisk next to my name! :jumping1:

Thanks Jeff!!

Only 54 days to go... but just think the other repo cruise has 147.

Kinda looks like one of mine... and somebody probably already guessed it.. but it's SHADOW.. the mascot and resident Golden Retriever at Disney's Hilton Head Resort. Another reason why I love that place....
