Question about LE pins - how do you know which ones are LE and the number that were released? Is there a website or something out there that has all of this info? I don't really pay attention to that sort of thing, so I really have no idea if any of my pins would be appropriate.

I had the same question. I went to pinpics.com
First try I got 4 pages of pins that matched what I put in.

Next time I narrowed my search and found my pin.
They have all kinds of info there - mine is a LE 1500.
64 people have it up for trade and 95 people want it.
So I guess it will work for the swap.
:confused3

The pin I have also has the edition size printed on the back.
Not that I could read anything that small... had to get my DD to tell me what it said.
:magnify:

Of course it may be our one and only LE - so if you don't have any LE pins, come trade with us - we just trade for what we like and don't know a whole lot about that kind of stuff either.

edited to add: I just found another LE we have.
It's LE 750 but it's coolness factor is only 67 and our LE 1000 is coolness factor 89
So for you pin collectors... who decides on this coolness factor and do I even want to know why some pins are better than others regardless of edition size?

Actually, I think I can answer my own question - I may be better off doing as we have in the past and just making an occassional trade with CM's.
Maybe someone can educate us at the pin meet!

Good Morning cruisers - another week starting - yea

AZ - don't worry about the pins. I have one I'll give you to trade. I was in pins for 6 or more years. I am totally burned out and don't care about them anymore. I have thousands and thousands that I don't even care about anymore. Sold a good many of them since the first of the year and so very glad to get rid of them. But I will enjoy the trading session we have.

Am going to WDW the end of April for the Animal Kingdom Pin Event and there will be a whole lot of new ones there. I am only going because someone is paying for us to go.

Keilli: YOU WELCOME. I knew that was you when I did it. And yes, it takes a lot of time, but I enjoy it.

Already this morning it is very sunny here in So.FL. The sun is out and all is good.

The Golden Retriever Mascot at Hilton Head is just beautiful.

I'll have to decide whether I want to spend $180 for the internet onboard. Maybe I can live w/o it for two weeks????? Ugh.

I called the Wal-mart here in Indy . They don't have the purex tablets. I searched on line, even Purex.com which I think took me to dial . com, and can't find the tablets. The search led me to believe that they aren't being made anymore. Too bad for us.

Lynda: LE1500 or less is pin lingo for a Limited Edition Pin with an edition size of 1500 ... or less meaning you could also bring an LE 1000 or 500 or whatever your generous heart desires.... Must be an official DISNEY pin of course...:)

Thanks! I will have to check my pins to see which ones fall into the LE1500 category! Get out those high powered glasses! :rotfl:

I'm all for not going overboard! But I don't know -- do you think we can handle having two Captain Flints in the same cabin??

AKA Captain Bess Flint pirate:

Oh my goodness....Well, I am the Beverly Princess, you know. 13 little chuggies --- only to be beat out by Disney Pals Bob with 14 (may he rest in peace) and Arlene with 15. (Boy, the silly things you do at the annual meets!)

On second thought, we are doomed!

I haven't submitted our info yet for the master list. Who do I send it too? I have to sort of fly under the radar since DH is a little freaked by the whole internet "friends" concept. I've been on a chat board for Nov. 01 Moms for three years now and he still thinks its weird, lol.

I guess I'd better hoard those purex tabs I have left instead of using them when I'm low on detergent. I wonder if you can still get them at coin laundries, might be worth a field trip. Maybe I'll end up with a contribution for the sail away party after all. :rotfl:

W-A-Y off topic ? for you doggie people...

Who's kid is on Cosequin? Anyone? And if so, anyone get it online anywhere that they can recommend? My vet has scared me that it won't be the 'same' as he can get, but the pictures sure look the same! :flower:

Thanks!

You never told me about the Beverly chugging contest! That must have been a hoot and a half :rotfl:

As for all these Flints on board, I think we must be cosmically (or is that comically?) related somehow -- I'm guessing you're the sister I never had and Kelli is our crazy cousin

I'm guessing we both ended up as Captain since we both think things run a little better when we're in charge?? pirate:

Hi Everyone

I have been looking into a ATV tour in Cabo. It's not an official disney excursion but it looks like it would be fun. The cost is $70 per ATV. I can't post more right now, but I will later.

They do have a web page: www.desertpark.net

Let me know if anyone is interested and I will do some more research.

Oh I didn't tell you about the Beverly Chugging Contest???? Oh my! I think it was RADP 007. I got a tremendous "ice cream" headache. Arlene, my roomie on my last cruise, put me to shame by sucking down two more cups of that nectar of the furies.

Sister! Oh goodie, I get to be somebody's little sister! Does that mean I get to be the tormenting brat? And Kelli---oh boy, Krazy Kusin Kelli. I just love my Disney relatives.

No worries, Margaret, since we're unrleated DIS members sharing a cabin, Jeff says he will make one for each of us -- what a great guy he is!

Just watch for when he asks for the next group (should contain M) to email him and send him your info for the magnet than.

Platform flip-flops? Sounds mighty dangerous to me. I have a tendency to sprain my ankles just walking across the floor in tennis shoes. No platform fli-flops for me.

What is SSR?
