Yes Lynda, you're correct. Zebra Domes are decadent chocolate dome-shaped desserts with white stripes. One warning to all you Zebra Dome newbies though - be careful not to go overboard. My mom ate so many, she got very sick afterward.

I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed, too, but a minimum drink requirement may be imposed to enhance the comedic value of participants.

Seaulater = Disboard Navigator for this cruise. Now, I'm not coming up with an original idea here, but credit goes to Mark and Mary from the 10 day Christmas Cruise who made the Navigator and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.

I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What Mary did is post the Navigator before we left on her website and then people could print out if they wanted.
So here's what it will list:
1. People's names; location and whether they are playing tag or not..
2. Each day and the schedule of disboard activities for that day.
3. A place for Notes
4. Anything else that might be deemed important.

Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

To my fellow Zebra Dome junkies... they now have MINI Zebra Domes along with those other wonderful Chocolate Mousse thingys at MARA.. you get 2 mini Zebra Domes and 2 Mini Choc Mousse thingys for around $3...... So in between Boma visits we can still get a Zebra Dome fix.....
Maybe I shouldn't really share this.... there will never be any in the case...LOL

As for dinner on the 13th...we have a tradition...we always eat at McCoy's there at the Hyatt...very good food and really wonderful Key Lime Pie!!! We are normally exhausted from our long flight (especailly the getting up at 4am to make the 6am flight...or as I call it...the butt crack of dawn) So we eat then crash (plus the whole time change thing is annoying but it is worth it for Disney)

Sorry to have been away for so long......moved into our new home!!! Lots of hard work so I really hope the cruise would hurry up so I can relax. I am also looking for a new job...yech! Now that we are watching what we spend on the cruise (unless I find a job real sooooon) I know your can take the ferry to stone island for $1 a person and go to the beach, so how far away from the ship is the ferry lauch? Does anyone know....

Last weekend we visited a wine tasting event at out local winery in Creamridge New Jersey. We picked out our wine for the cruise! Boy, with so many selections, it was tough. (Who am I kidding! How tough is it to taste wine!)

We'll be bringing a Govenor's Medal selection... a cranberry wine. NJ + MA are the top growers of cranberries in the US, so we thought that would be appropriate. There was a close second... a chocolate cherry wine (a cherry wine with a hint of chocolate taste).

I'll bring a card identifying the wine and the winery location!

No, my parents are not getting passports. They will never need them. I wouldn't waste the money if you are worried about it. Even the other cruises I have gone on where they have "looked" at your passports, it takes them about 2 seconds and they hand them back to you!

I'm jealous. I didn't get anything from Castaway Club today and I want the recipe for chocolate souffle. Maybe something to look forward to in the next couple of days.

Mmmm... those are my absolute favorite GS cookies and I didn't get any this year. No one else in my family likes them and I didn't think eating a whole box by myself was a good idea when I'm THINKING about trying to loose a pound or two (so I can gain it back on the cruise)

I didn't want to spend the money for my family either. After all the debates, here's the logic that finally made me spend the money...

Based on what I've experienced post 9/11 on DCL, you will have to have your driver's license with you to get on and off the ship at the various ports-of-call. Now what if you were to loose your driver's license or have it stolen? You will not only have troubles getting back on the ship, you will also have problems with immigration on LA and won't be allowed on your flight back home.

Now if you have a Passport, you can keep it locked in your cabin. The loss of your driver's license will only delay you getting back on the ship (the time it takes a member of your party to return to your cabin and retrieve your passport). You will then still have the passport for immigration and boarding your plane.

I'm sorry you've lost your job, especially this close to the cruise. But if the loss of your job is a make or break for spending money on passports, perhaps it should be the make or break for spending the money to go on a 14 day cruise.
