I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed, too, but a minimum drink requirement may be imposed to enhance the comedic value of participants.

Seaulater = Disboard Navigator for this cruise. Now, I'm not coming up with an original idea here, but credit goes to Mark and Mary from the 10 day Christmas Cruise who made the Navigator and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.

I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What Mary did is post the Navigator before we left on her website and then people could print out if they wanted.
So here's what it will list:
1. People's names; location and whether they are playing tag or not..
2. Each day and the schedule of disboard activities for that day.
3. A place for Notes
4. Anything else that might be deemed important.

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

We went to the post office and did the whole shebang too. If you go to the passport bureau website you can look up the local passport office and see if they have onsite photos. The guy at the office told us that was the best way to go if you were taking a small child because they are picky about infant pictures being the right size. Be sure and take your checkbook or cash though- the website was wrong about being able to use a credit card for the postage fees.

Linda, we must truly be alike. My weekend sounded a lot like yours... :banana: We did some research on hot water heaters this weekend. The one I want is about twice the price of the one DH wants, but the one I want is tankless, which would free up enough space for us to put a water softener in. Anyone out there have a tankless water heater with some comments on how you like it?

We have a tankless water heater and love it! We have a big house and never have a problem with not having hot water. I highly recommend it! Maybe DH

SURVIVOR: PALAU 's finale will be broadcast on a special night, Sunday, May 15 ( 8:00-10:00 PM , ET/PT). Immediately following, Jeff Probst will host a Live Reunion Show (10:00-11:00 , ET, tape delayed PT) from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City . The reunion show will be the first time all 20 castaways will be together again since being in Palau .
 
Bummer about Survivor! I'm afraid that the finales of American Idol and the Amazing Race will also be while we're on our cruise. My VCR is going to be very busy . . .
 
Yea!!! My DH got me TiVo for Christmas and I'm loving it. I couldn't image missing the last of Survivor or Amazing Race.

So having read about innoculations i contacted my doctor..no problem he looks in his book and says tetnus your covered,,5 injections during life time gives you full cover..BUT.. you will needs hep A and typhod injections..i say will it hurt he says `no`.. well all doctors are liars!!!,, my arm hurts...( my wife says Im a chicken her arm doesnt hurt)

Book Exchange
There was a library on the Magic, deck 2, forward as you get off the elevator. The library on the Wonder was eliminated to make way for meeting rooms, but I think the Magic library is still there. The library had books, games, and a scavanger type hunt to look for hidden Mickeys. Did not go to the library on the 10 day cruise, but book readers might want to check it out. Alex

DD had to get her final vaccinations last week. Four in all! Ugh! It was awful. She had her 5th tetnus shoot and as predicted by the nurse, she woke up late that night with a fever and a VERY swollen arm! Poor baby :lovestruc
She was very excited to hear she wouldn't have to have another vaccination until she is 11! (She's 4!) :cheer2: :cheer2:

I knew it!!! I bet the finale of the Amazing Race will be that week as well. I'm going to try to get not attached to this Survivor so I won't be trying to find excuses to not go to dinner that night!!!!

The last medical thing I got from the military/ CDC said typhoid was not needed for a panama canal cruise, but would be if you were going mainland panama, costa rica....
Typhoid hurts like the dickens. I have to get that and yellow fever when I got into the military, my arm hurt for days....

We stopped in Puentarenas Costs Rica on Royal Carribean in 2003 and we didn't get any shots.

We weren't planning on getting any for this cruise either.
