2005 packages and AAA discounts...

I phoned this am to book for 2 weeks May 2005. The CM told me AA discounts and package prices should be out in next week or 2, for anyone interested...

We're waiting for this discount to make our reservation. Were they available in the past years for the first week of january
(1 to 7) ?

We will stay at Pop between dec 27 and jan 1. My wife wants to stay at POFQ in the first week of jan. I'm still not sure it's worth the 270$ more for the week than to stay at POP.

We've been to ASMo and ASSp without problems but we found in our last stay at CSR that is was quieter than the first two. Since we don't have any kids, should I stop being a grinch and go along with my wife's desire ?

Hi Disneyfreaks - she said the AAA rates for next year...I assume it is for 2005 as a whole. She did not speak specifically about May. As an aside, the CM was Mary Alice and she was just awesome! Gave me tons of recommendations and was so helpful with room requests etc. She said the AAA rate should save 10-20%. I booked Poly and AKL.

Qu-oo7 - I am afraid I can't help you there. I have not been WDW in 10 years!!! Not since my honeymoon, and the only resorts I stayed at: Dixie Landings and GF. You might want to post your question as a new thread...you'll probably get lots more responses! Good luck with your decision...

Thanks maggie1. We usually start out booking with a AAA discount and then update if and when better codes or discounts become available. It doesn't look like there are too many codes out there this year so AAA may be about all we can hope for next year. Better than nothing though, right?


Qc-007....maggie1 is right. I would make your question a new thread so you will get alot more responses. My opinion though would be to listen to your wife. LoL The moderates are very nice resorts. We have stayed in all of them but PO/FQ. We'd love to stay there. Booked it twice and ended up being moved both times because of the closures.
