After seeing Disney at Christmas again i'm more excited than ever to be cruising over Christmas!

BTW - this is post #900 - let's hit 1000 before the new year rolls in!

I know we have a lot of DVC'ers on the cruise - anyone thinking of going to the DVC Member Homecoming in May?

We had plans to go earlier in May but if we can switch reservations with Member Services we are thinking of going.

Oh no, it's snowing again. We are supposed to get 2-5 inches before turning to rain. We have about 2 inches on the ground now and it's only been snowing about 3½ hours.
I hope the roads aren't too bad, as I have to go downstate for a family Chrismas dinner.

Hi Everyone. It is snowing here in NY too. It had been snowing for almost 4 hours. MY DH is with our children at the mall in this mess. One more week and we are on a plane to Florida and the Caymans. I will not be missing this weather for 2 weeks in NY. I hope everyone has a great day. Gail1771

Just got that in the loads of mail that was being held while cruising and at WDW....

Looks VERY interesting, but we've already got our plans lined up for earlier in May. Maybe next time.

When are you going to WDW again? We will be down Easter week and in August. My parents were with us and we never saw them either, we were tied up with the Doll & Bear Event.
We had a bit more of the s*** stuff today, and lots and lots of rain.

I HOPE EVERYONE HAS A HAPPY AND A HEALTHY. I WILL BE OFF THE BOARDS FROM THIS SUNDAY 12/21/03 THROUGH 1/5/04. WE WILL BE IN FLORIDA AND THE CAYMAN ISLANDS. IF ANYONE HAS ANY SUGGESTION WHAT TO DO IN THE CAYMAN ( WE WILL BE THERE WITH THE CHILDEN FOR 1 WEEK) I WOULD APPRECIATE THE POST. WE ALREADY KNOW ABOUT STRING RAY CITY, TURTLE FARM, HELL, SHOPPING AND THE BEACHES. I HEARD RUM POINT IS NICE. WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE THE CHILDREN FISHING OFF A PIER OR SOMETHING DIFFERNT SOMEONE EALSE HAS EXPERIENCED. WE ARE STAYING AT THE GRAND CAYMANIAN RESORT NEXT TO THE GOLF COURSE. IT IS ACROSS FROM THE BEACH AND THEY ALSO HAVE A FREE SHUTTLE TO THE BEACH. WE WILL HAVE A CAR AND OUR CONDO HAS A FULL KITCHEN AND W/D. ANYWAY I WILL BE THINKING OF YOU ALL. HAPPY NEW YEAR. Garry, welcome back. So glad to hear you're feeling better. Mary and I were saying that you and I have never been in chat together. Mary even wondered if we were sharing an identity (lol!) I'll try to make it to chat this time though. Maybe we can break that streak!

Gail, we did stingray city w/ Capt Marvins on our western cruise, and really enjoyed it. I'd highly recommend it.

Just one year from now!!!!

DS has pneumonia, so I'm stuck at home. No school this week for him. I worked Monday while DH stayed home, and he's staying tomorrow too.

We leave Sunday to visit family in Indiana.

Lisa - sorry to hear your son is sick that time of year.

Gail - enjoy the Cayman Islands. We did the Disney excursion that did Hell, the Turtle Farm and Stingray City. Would have loved more time at the Turtle Farm - kind of rushed. Stingray City is awesome and I've heard really good things about Captain Marvin's.

Have you checked out www.cruisecritic.com ? They have boards set up by port and you can get lots of local information there. They aren't as wonderful as the people on the DIS boards but for a specific port they are great.

gaRry, sorry to hear you haven't been doing well. Our visit was definately too short and hope to make it longer next time.

I'm planning on being in chat on Friday so we'll see if Lisa and gaRry show up at the same time

Gail, can I come with you? That's the exact timeframe I need to pack my house for the move, it's when Randy will be home to help me - otherwise he's out in WA full time after that. I'd much rather be in Grand Cayman - I'll even watch your kids. Better yet you could bring my Jilly Bean and she can watch the kids! We'll miss you.

YES! We sold our house it was on the market 9(!) days. Bought by a couple who live two blocks away. They were going to add on to theirs, but decided to start w/ a larger house and add on immediately. So I guess when I come back to visit my house will never look the same. Maybe all the plants that I left helped, the guy is a landscape architect. It looks like we will be "Homeless in Seattle" though for awhile.

It's been very quiet here for awhile. I know what's been keeping me busy, where's everybody else?

Yes I am doing the Happy Dance today too!!!

Haven't posted much lately. Alot is going on around here. Found out we will be moving soon also. The good thing is we are moving south!!! We will be moving to Ga sometime in the next 6 months.I am really glad I haven't bought airfare for the cruise yet, because now we will be within driving distance. Those of you who are familiar with the I-95 drive to Florida, we will be somewhere between Brunswick Ga and Jacksonville Fl. We lived in that area before on St Simons Island, just not sure where we will settle this time. I will be so happy to be within a few hours of WDW again!

OKAY thanks for the welcome back. now I'm still behind but my plan is too be up to speed by christmas day oh ya I'm working that day. Not my time but I traded with one of the newer guys with 2 small ones so it A good thing. he'll just work for me when I'm on the magic.
Lets see cruise in january nope kids have to many of the wrong grades. easter mmmmmmaybee!!!!! I'll need A fix by then for sure.
