We had a couple of flight delays, but got home safely at 1 am yesterday. I had a meeting yesterday morning at work that I did not want to miss, so went in from 7-12. UGH!! I was very tired by afternoon. I am off today though and don't go back in until Monday. Dennis has come down with the congestion and crud. Luckily he does not have to work the rest of the week and can rest. I went to my doc yesterday afternoon to check out the kidney stone and will have an IVP in the next day or so. Thank all of you for the prayers Christmas Eve when I was suffering with it. Much better now, but my doc just wants an IVP to see what is going on with it.

Just got a call, the manatee dive was a success. Alicia is in the manatee's tummy this time. They are off to get pizza with Matt and Red, so I guess they will be home in a couple of hours.

Thanks for letting me know. I was starting to wonder where they were!

Good morning, everyone!

I think one of my favorite parts of the cruise (beside, of course, meeting everyone) was watching our teens. I'm actually not mad at Jordan at all. I'm glad they all got along so well and had the time of their lives.
But I agree, Jim.....makes me wonder what else there is that we didn't hear about.:scratchin

Favorite cruise moment: watching Alicia dance with all her new Stack friends at the DJ rotunda on Castaway Cay.

Least favorite cruise moment: taking a shower after leaving Castaway Cay, swaying shower curtains and wet bodies = no fun.

Angie, glad to hear that you are better! We heard about you, but didn't get an update. How much fun did you miss?

I loaded all 600 pictures last night. And put them on a disk. But I wasn't smart enough to edit them first. Will do that later, then make another disk.

I had an e-mail waiting from the speed boat that didn't show up in St Maarten, engine troubles, and they have already refunded my deposit. The day worked out well anyway....there's always a "Plan B".

Jim, I may have one site for RC....but I don't know of any discussion boards like ours. I'll look for it. Try www.cruisediva.com

Okay...off I go....Mary, don't work too hard on your one day back!!

Stacey

Are you going to post some of your pictures on a website? I plan on putting mine up on Shutterfly.com, but am always looking for a better site to load to.

Thanks for the info on RC. I'll take a look. It sure is tough trying to find info after dealing with DISers.

I only missed Christmas Eve dinner and the Golden Mickeys. That made me sad, but we booked 2 more cruises while on board :Pinkbounc so I will catch it next time. :D

Jay filled out the questionnaire the last day of the cruise. When he came to the part about "Will you cruise DCL again"...(he'd been reading them out loud and asking me) he said "I'm certain of that!" So YES!! Whoo hoo! He enjoyed everyone so much, he's ready to do it again! Thanks guys!!
I think it will help that the next two cruises are different itineraries.

Jared and I are heading to the doctor today. We both feel like we've been hit by a truck. His cough is horrible.

I have managed to get a few things put away, but haven't made it through 1/4 of the mail....my eyes keep closing.

Diana....I'm giving Jay a month or so before I tell him about the Mexican Riviera. Since we came home to Justin quitting, I'm not pushing it right now.

Off to the doctor's.....Angie, I hope your test comes out okay!!!

If anyone is counting, I've had three T.O.P.'s since getting home!!!:teeth:

See ya!
Stacey

Everyone must be as tired as I am. I have managed to read about four pages of Mark's "Live" report....

Turns out, Jared and I both have both of our ears infected, strep throat, and bronchitis.
Doctor gave me three meds and Jared two.
I hope we didn't pass it on to anyone else.
And, I also still have sand in my ears! See if I roll on the beach with a 5 yr old again!!

Awww I'm sorry to here that! I hope you feel better soon. i got a little sick on the ship. my throat started to hurt on the first day out at sea and then i developed a cough that hasn't gone away yet. and also my nose was congested for most of the trip and one night at dinner my eyes started to water and it looked like i was crying. i had to run to the bathroom and get toilet paper. :earboy2:

Hello Everyone!

We finally made it home after midnight last night. We spent the day unpacking and catching up on stuff.

I can't say enough how great it was meeting and spending the holidays with all of you. It will certainly be a time we will never forget!

Matt "the Silent Matt" gave me a few details on the manatee dive. 83 manatees in the spring and run. That's pretty good. He said everyone had a good time and most important, Alica got to see the manatee.

Last night we went to our neighbors and had left overs. They were very impressed that I brought home only 2 bottles of wine. Not bad judgement on our part.

The said part is that she was just diagnoised with scleroderma (hardening of the skin). They are going through all the testing now to find out how advanced. She is only in her 50's. This is just another example of why we spend our time and money cruising on Disney, you just never know how long you will have good health.

Jim,

Truer words were never spoken. I guess I learned that 15 years ago when I was diagnosed with cancer. Take and enjoy every day. Sure with good health we also have things like work to help pay for those wonderful days, but it is all worth it.

I think that is one of the reasons I love cruising so much. You can be far away from things and it is just you and God's wonderful earth. Whether it is a beautiful morning with the sun just coming up over the Pitons or a quiet evening with just the stars. The beauty of the world is all around you if you take the time to enjoy it!

Hello all,

I thought I was the only one who was wobbling this morning, waiting to get my "landlegs" back!

thanks for addding to the best Disney Cruise ever

How cool was it to walk all around the ship and always see someone you knew from DIS !

That definitely helped make this trip even more special!

- David

I will second that this was the BEST CRUISE EVER!!!! How very cool it was to see someone you knew where ever you went. (unless of course you were Gloria, or Mr Sandman)
Had some questioning how we knew so many people on the ship. Gotta love the DIS boards.
We got home yesterday afternoon - haven't really started unpacking yet we had to go see all of the horses and spend time spoiling the dogs. Princess didn't want to let us out of her sight - I think she missed us.
All of us have the cough crud, guess I'll get the kids to the doc this afternoon.
We left Fla 1230 Wed, stopped by reletives in Ga on the drive home and visited for a few hours, then continued home arriving about 2:30pm.

Guess I better get unpacking and get the laundry started!!

We did rebook for April 06 (Spring break) anyone else thinking about that one??

This isn't MrsMork, but is DrHug. Seems we can't both be members without our names getting crossed up somehow. ??????? So I'll just take the easy way out.

I'm sure Ang has filled you in on the trip home. After being up for 24+ hours we finally made it safe and sound. Wednesday I came down with the crud also. Had a fever, cough, and congestion. Felt like the Flu to me, so I have been bunkered up at home since we got in. Had to call my Doc for some cough syrup of the Codeine variety so my lungs wouldn't fly out. LOL. It's Friday, and I am feeling better today. I think the Airborne is actually helping.

Angie has an IVP scheduled for Monday. Hopefully it will be "normal". Thanks to all for your concerns, prayers and good wishes.

Thanks to everyone for making this cruise so MAGICal for us. What a great bunch you all are. It was such a privilege to be able to meet everyone. I am so happy that Angie jumped onto the DIS site.

Dennis
