Good Morning! Told you Mary'd be up first. :)

And I hope to be around this evening as well, so 24k is certainly not out of the question.

That's what I figured. Someone will pirate: 24,000 on their wireless. Probably from MVMCP.

Aren't you to be leaving by now?

Almost, the ride'll be here soon. :)

Sorry we'll miss you, but we'll all meet up soon enough at the port! Looking forward to it too.

Well, got to do a few last minute things, will let Mary have her computer back now. (didn't feel like starting mine up)

One of the worst parts of the trip is just sitting there waiting for the ride and thinking "did they remember, are we going to be late....." but know you two there is plenty of time planned in.

The house smells good this morning. We are making Monkey Bread for the offices.

Being the kind and gentle father that I am, I will let the kids have some before going to school. The office will just have to be happy with what they get, kids come first (it's vacation time, the kinder and gentler Jim is coming out)

Yep - pick-up is scheduled for 4:45 - plane leaves at 7. I'm the type that would rather wait a while at the airport and know I'm there then to rush.

We look forward to meeting Sharon today and you tomorrow. Have a great time at your office party and thanks for everything you've done to help.

It's going to be a great cruise!

Ok guys - we are out of here! Mark will try and log in later today/tonight from Vero.

Safe travels everyone!

i have so much to do and so little time! i have to run a promotion for work tomorrow night from 8:30 to 10:30 and then we're staying the night at a mariott near dulles so we don't have to get up as early in the morning to drive there. that and we don't have to pay as much for parking while we're away. geeze if i only could have gotten to have tomorrow off too! i felt like there was all the time in the world until yesterday and now it's all happening! weeeeeeeeeee!!! :cool1:

Hey, you'll be near us. Too bad we won't be here. We fly out at 2:30 today. We are less than 15 minutes away from Dulles in Ashburn.

Good Morning Everyone left!

I couldn't sleep so I got up showered and tried to catch up from last night. you guys were a little chatty.

I have to take the kids to school this morning. Jason has to take in a science project. It was due next week so he has to turn it in early. This may be the only time he actually has a project done early!
Then off to take the dog to the kennel, stop by Petco and get hamster food (almost forgot the poor thing)
Pick up the kids at 11:30.
Neighbor driving us to airport at 12:00 if we can fit all our luggage in her 4 Runner.
Flight is scheduled for 2:27 and arrives at MCO 4:48.
Take shuttle over to Embassy suites and let the party begin. :cool1:

Have a great day.

Front page news this morning "80 manatees in Blue Springs yesterday".

It sure would have been a great day to go diving. However, with so many manatees in such a small area it is likely they would not allow us to dive. They are pretty fussy about that.

Note to self - Stay focused and get your work done.

(yes, I'm trying my best to get us to 24,000 before tomorrow morning).

Going to see the Kranks this afternoon with Sharon. I think we will leave part way through the movie when the change their plans to stay home from the cruise. That would never happen at our house. We would leave a note and food for the kids.

Mary wasn't up first.................

I NEVER WENT TO BED!!

But was done packing by 3 a.m. and figured, why get in bed. So watched the Apprentice finale and now I'm checking in before we fly, fly, away.

I think we must have at least 30 bags in the back of the trucks!!!

Enjoy your time and have a WONDERFUL Christmas. All the best for the voyage of memories.

Michele

The kids are here and they are thinking they need some motion sickness meds. I don't want to go back 5000 posts to find. What did you recommend?

Thanks

Dramine will make most folks drowsy. Bonaine is pretty good, and Meclizine is the generic form and is less expensive.

That is what I see happening tonight at MVMCP for many of you and that is what I see happening all day tomorrow. In the terminal and onboard ship. We are going to keep running into "friends we've never met".
Diana and I were talking about that again last night. It should be "quite the scene" at the terminal. All that hugging of friends we have never met.

It's OK mom, I met them on the internet...................

That is why I am looking to pick up a second Sony digital on Ebay. Mine has been discountined, but I like the setup I have. I can get a second camera that works just fine for me for $200 now on Ebay. That is a pretty cheap backup and a whole lot easier than replacing the whole set.
It's interesting how you can get attached to something like a camera. I know that we all resist change and that familiarity is good. It's always nice to know how to make use of the cameras abilities.

I have seen some pretty good deals on those discontinued models as well.
