My thinking is that 4 megs is all that I need. It has functions that I will never use and the newer ones only have more functions that I will never use.

At what point is there a marginal rate of return?

There is an interesting discussion about the difference between the Oly 5060 and the Nikon D70 on Scuba Boards.

The SLR is a much different camera. And with all the pieces/parts that go into one (lenes, housings, strobes, ports, etc) you can plan on spending 3-4K for a outfit. A little to rich for my blood.

Okay, everything is packed - Way too much stuff, I know it already. Didn't feel like unpacking everything to "weed" some stuff out. If anyone needs extra clothes while onboard, we can probably accomodate you.

Well, I'm finished working. Now, I am reading the boards to catch up from yesterday and waiting to meet bear (and Mark & Mary of course). There box is ready for them. See you all soon (less than 24 hours)

Well, Mark & Mary have made it safely to Florida. They picked up their box and will be wearing their T-Shirts tomorrow so they will be easy to spot. They said the bag Bear was in got searched at the airport. Apparently this happens quite often. I guess no 1st class ticket for Bear - Poor Bear.
