Gus,

Did you try DCL to see if you could get on the SM Dolphin excursion. We switched to it but our reservations were thru DCL. At first I was really disappointed, but they changed the time to 7:30 am instead of 10:45 so we'll get back in time for dinner and the ornament exchange :cheer2:

I hope you can get something!!!

And where will the children be while you and Garry are diving with the Manatees, hmmm?

Alicia will want to see them, too, next summer.

They will be in school and taking finals. Just as they were in school when he dove in Santa Barbara - but that was work related. The first was cruise related. And, Jim knows how to get what he wants - tell me it's cruise related. :cool1:

Now, I may visit a client in Orlando following the dive so this one is also work related.

It's great to have you join us DCLcruiser and I do hope you introduce yourself on on the cruise.

Okay, now give over. Since you are a crew member what does DCL have planned for us. :earboy2: We want details. ::yes:: :flower1:

Hey DVC4US-

To be honest, I have no clue what is going on for X-Mas. It will be a surprise for me too. The last event I planned was Halloween. As for my role on the ship, you will not see me very often, however you will read my work

Now that your last few days on land are here, I must add my two cents as I have been reading your thread for the last month.

We are sailing on the 28th (yes, your ship for some time then you MUST give it up) and I have been having fun reading your posts. I have able to find out when you got your docs - so we will get ours next, what your plans are for on the ship, ect. I thank each and every one of you for the entertainment and for the knowledge and fun that you have passed on to other cruisers. Even though we will not be leaving and travelling at the same time, I am excited for you that your NEW journey will take place in a couple of days.

Have a great time and we look forward to hearing about your holiday when you getback.

Merry Christmas to all and have a drink of wine in whatever you may bring (ie. a glass, a bottle or even a caraffe) and give yourselves a cheer to friendships that have formed over the last year.

Seasons best,
Michele

So Michele---What's your stateroom number. We could do a little "welcome" for you!

This sounds like a Where is Bear Now challenge. Where does DCLcruiser work?

Possibly the printer operations on the ship?

Wonder how many telephone cards he needs so we can get our Mini-Navigators before anyone else?

Happy Tuesday morning. I WANT FRIDAY!!!!!

Okay, caught up on the posts. Now I need to get A/P done and get payroll finished for tomorrow.

Got the pirate pins sorted out and packed last night (with DD's help). Tonight we will put together the scrapbooking envelopes for everyone. I need to give that printer a run before I get on the ship and yes, I think I will go buy another package of paper (didn't want to push my luck when DH was with me!)

Can't wait for this cruise, work has been H*** this week (and to think, yesterday was just Monday!)

No cancellations. I will check again before we leave. Chances are better once we are there, but that might be a bit late to get a meet organized! So we still need to pick a spot!

Gus,
I was told the Antigua dolphin excursion was cancelled due to relocating the dolphins. Perhaps that is due to construction. Anyway they offerd us the SM dolphin excursion but we declined as it is 7hrs vs the 4hr one in Antigua and that is too long for our DD. Good luck! :flower1:

Gus, if you're staying extra days before or after at WDW, you might want to call Discovery Cove at Sea World. It's a full day, and a really good experience. And the family members that don't want to swim with dolphins can go for less $$$.

I guess I'd better PM with this suggestion?

Hi Diana - Gail might have already told you but they are coming in on the 29th and we're getting together at Epcot on the 28th. I think you are doing the first CP and then eating - right? Where are you dining? We're eating first and then doing the 2nd CP so we'll be coming from the American Pavillion. Maybe we can find a place partway between those.

For what it's worth info. I called the excursion's desk after the dolphin adventure was cancelled on Antigua. The Jolly Roger Pirate excursion was not only available, but both times had space.

When we called a month ago the Jolly Roger was completely booked. So either they added more, had cancellations or this excursion sux, I don't know it and me and da wife will be the only ones on it.....

HI everyone,

Finally home from work. I skimmed through the last day and half of posts, so if I missed someting really important someone please PM me.

I am now off to the gym and then to the mall to make a few exchanges. Tonight we don't have any activities so we all pack!!

Will try to check in again if not those of you leaving tomorrow have a safe trip!

My apologies if this has been posted before. For all those of us feeling a little holiday stress - some humor. How did the angel get to be the topper on the Christmas tree.

When four of Santa's elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not

produce the toys as fast as the regular ones, Santa was beginning to

feel the pressure of being behind schedule.

Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her Mom was coming to visit. This

stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were

about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven

knows where. More stress.

Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked, and

the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys.

So, frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of apple cider and

a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered that the

elves had hidden the liquor, and there was nothing to drink. In his

frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider pot, and it broke into

hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor.

He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw end

of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and irritable Santa trudged to the door.

He opened the door, and there was a little angel with a great big

Christmas tree.

The angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't it a

lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me

to stick it?"

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree

Do people ever give it up! I am still getting private messages about yesterday. Saying I am a little boy and all the comments I made that I was a little chiild, I dont belong here and need to go back to playing my video games. I just dont get it

We are eating at the Garden Grille at 7 pm. What time is Illuminations that night?

Matt, suggestion. When you open your pm box, unless you know the sender, just delete the message. They obviously feel the need to make you feel bad, don't let them succeed.

Illuminations is at 9:30 according to the WDW site. Maybe we should try and meet over by Canada. We've watched it from the Off Kilter Stage before. The view isn't perfect but you get to see a lot of the show. I'll ask Mark tonight if he has recommendations.

Therese - where will you be that night? It would be great if we could all get together.
