Hi Jeri.........

I am saddened about the news of the cancellation.
I will call Dolphin Discovery tommorrow.
I am booked on my own and not through Disney.
I am getting a really bad feeling about this.

I'll try not to let it spoil the rest of the vacation, if it is cancelled.

DD does not know about it so she won't be upset.

I'll have to look on the bright side.........maybe I can scuba dive after all.
Time to look for my Naui card and log book.

Kevin are the DISer's diving in Antigua?

3 more sleeps for us.

Gus

Gus I'm not Kevin and I'm not even diving but I do know they are planning to dive in Antigua.

Yeah, a wine party in sessions, a group photo in the atrium, an ornament exchange, snorkeling lessons, scrapbooking lessons and freebies, a book exchange, a TAG You're it game, ladies night out, men's night at Ladder 49, a magnetic sign tour, ....

oh...you mean ones that DISNEY will have...

oh...no. haven't heard. I just hope they don't go scheduling anything during times we already have blocked out!!!!

Where is our Travel coordinator when we need her? I think Disney might have to rethink their schedule if they think they might interfere with some of our plans. :cool1:

Gus, yes we are diving in Antigua (Kevin and I are diving in all the ports except St. Maartin). Kevin has the link on his signature.

I'll pirate: a TOP before going into the office.

It all get's done this week or I will be working next week from the ship. Something I don't want to do. I really dislike the year end rush!

Time to get ready for work..

Now that your last few days on land are here, I must add my two cents as I have been reading your thread for the last month.

We are sailing on the 28th (yes, your ship for some time then you MUST give it up) and I have been having fun reading your posts. I have able to find out when you got your docs - so we will get ours next, what your plans are for on the ship, ect. I thank each and every one of you for the entertainment and for the knowledge and fun that you have passed on to other cruisers. Even though we will not be leaving and travelling at the same time, I am excited for you that your NEW journey will take place in a couple of days.

Have a great time and we look forward to hearing about your holiday when you getback.

Merry Christmas to all and have a drink of wine in whatever you may bring (ie. a glass, a bottle or even a caraffe) and give yourselves a cheer to friendships that have formed over the last year.

Seasons best,
Michele

Hey Michelle,

you should have jumped in and said hello more often.

We will try to leave the ship in one piece for you

have a great holiday season, and get ready for the "live reports from the 10 day holiday cruise on the Magic!!!"

Happy Tuesday! Another day closer to cruising!

Missed saying good-bye to Paul yesterday. Safe trip!

DCLCruiser - welcome! Home you get a chance once on board to introduce yourself to us. We'd love to meet you!

Well off to read the boards and then off to work!

Great day everyone!

Okay.. I have to ask just what IS switchfoot???
Oh Leslie, just ask any teen/pre-teen girl on the cruise. Tina's DD Kristen is a big fan, and my DD loves them too. They started as contemporary Christian. They are still strong Christians, but a lot of their music is being played on modern rock type stations now.

Just wondering if anyone on this thread is coming from the Indianapolis area??

I don't think so. My in-laws are from there, but we had to cancel them when my FIL's health got too bad. Is there something you need from there? I can try to help you out.

Good Tuesday Morning Everyone!!

It is getting closer and closer, I can't wait. :cool1: :Pinkbounc I guess Rich was right when he said he would be packing on Thursday, he still hasn't packed. It's a good thing we don't leave till late afternoon. Hopefully, I can get him home sometime tormorrow night and at least have him lay out his clothes. At least I have me and the girls packed.

Everyone have a great day!

Michele,

Thanks so much for the greetings and telling us how much you have enjoyed our thread. Most of us have been here over a year and I can tell you it has been a great time.

As David said, we will try to leave to ship in one piece for you and all nice and tidy.

You have a joyus holiday season and we hope you have a great New Year's on the ship.

DCLcruiser, are you on the 10 day? If so , please introduce yourself. We're an overly friendly group here.

Stacey, I was wondering today when the kid will get old enough to start thinking about the joy of giving. Seems like that kicks in MUCH later, at this age it's "all about me!" Alicia's name was drawn for the raffle at the talent show Saturday. She got to choose between a lovely turquoise and silver pendant (that Mom would have liked) or some rhinestone bangle bracelets that she liked. Guess which one she chose?

I'm sure you'll see the bracelets on the cruise. Hope they aren't made of lead.
Actually, my DS seems to have picked up that notion this year. I sent him spending money for their camp last weekend (DD used her spending money to make up the additional cost of her keyboard). He came home and told me that he bought me a present. I figured that it was a pen or something like that, but no, he pulls out a hardback copy of a Max Lucado box. He said it was on sale, but I know it still cost at least $10 of his $15, and he had also gotten his sister a Young Life pen. Right after they got back, we went to Awanas, and they had their Awana store. They earn "shares" for learning Bible verses, completing sections in their books, wearing special clothes on spirit nights, etc. He had earned 15 shares. He bought a crystal figurine for his sister, and a really pretty wall hanging for his Dad and I. He just had the biggest smile on his face at how happy he made us. I asked him, didn't you get anything for yourself? He said "No Mom. I really wanted to get you guys something." Yes, Mommy cried!

I am on the extended 10-day cruise. Mine is 100 days :cool1: I am one of the crew members aboard the ship.

It's great to have you join us DCLcruiser and I do hope you introduce yourself on on the cruise.

Okay, now give over. Since you are a crew member what does DCL have planned for us. :earboy2: We want details. ::yes:: :flower1:

That's one thing I can be thankful for. My kids get JUST as excited to see people open the gifts they bought for them as they do opening their own gifts. In fact, this year Nick had to give KT a gift EXTRA EXTRA early b/c he just could NOT wait. He was ready to bust! (He bought kt some raspberry gourmet sauce at Robert Rothschild's)

We've been infiltrated by a spy!!! :)

Welcome, Michele. We'll try to keep the ship in good condition for you! Please don't have too big of a smile on your face as you see us get off crying. Karaeric and I will be shedding extra tears as we're getting off on our birthdays!!!

Safe travels to you and yours! You're going to have a blast! I hope you and your fellow cruisers have been able to put together some fun things!!
