Teresa....if you're doing Disneyland before your cruise, a bunch of us are doing Disneyland AFTER the June 8-15th cruise....we'll be there at the same time if you want to meet up!!

The 18th is the last full day that we'll be there. I'm planning on flying home late on the 18th. Not sure when Virgil and his family, and Diana and her family will be flying home.

Hi Everyone!
I know.. long time no posts!! Finally things started to get back to semi-normal after the wedding.. and then we find out we're going to be grandparents..... and just found out it's a BOY! I am personlly keeping the Disney stock price up by buying as much Disney baby stuff as I can find...
Next cruise is a quickie 3 nighter just because we need a DCL fix!! Other than that.... nothing else in the future but a grandbaby!!

Just finished up with a wonderful post-cruise DIS meet with the Ohio family. We spent a wonderful two days together (well maybe 2 1/3 as we also saw them Friday night). I'm exhausted and sore (I think I pulled a muscle in my back on Friday before they got here) but we had a wonderful time.

Today was a quick tour of downtown Chicago, a visit to the Field Museum, a visit to Navy Pier and then some quick shopping on Michigan Ave.

All three nights ended with some LRC and just talking and having a great time.

Another reminder how wonderful this cruise was and the joy it brought to our lives!

Great to see everyone still posting. We are sailing again on Eastern 12/8 with my sister and her kids, grandkids, and my 82 year old mom is going with us this trip. We are having fun with all the plans right now. The next after that will be the Westbound Canal trip and HOPEFULLY we will be retired by then. We would stay in CA for the June meet, but our DGS will be graduating here on June 6 so we will need to head back up this way. We will be spending 3 days at DL after the Canal cruise.

Now I'm really jealous, we can't even keep a thread going for our 6/18 cruise. Our one son plays varsity football and they have a camp right after school lets out in June or I'm tempted to change to your cruise. I'm pretty bummed that our DIS contingent is so small. NOTHING like our 10-day cruise

Our group is actually pretty small, too. But it's still early.

I did discover the last time we did the Mexican Riviera that there aren't as many DISers on those cruises. More west coast people who haven't learned about the DIS. I have a feeling that especially once DCL brings a ship over permanently, that will soon change!

Hi Angie!! Tell Dennis hi too.

I was trying to get my family on the first Mexican Riviera cruise, right after the Canal crossing...but with school, it didn't work. Otherwise, we could have waved at you as you got off and we got on!

Some of the Moms from the 10 Night and the Double Scoop/Blabbermouth cruises are going on the Eastbound Canal cruise. We're looking forward to it.

Here's a picture from this weekend. Angie we were talking about you and Dennis this weekend and how much we missed everyone from the 10 day. Next up we get to meet with Scuba Jim who will be in town.

Oh my! Look how the children have grown! We miss you all too and hope to soon be motoring the country and get the chance to re-visit all our DIS friends across the country. Just waiting for retirement...and waiting, and waiting.

Happy Thanksgiving to my DIS friends. That 10-day cruise was still our 'best vacation ever'.

What wonderful memories seeing this thread bumped up brought back. It was one of our best vacations as well and I'm truly thankful for the friends I made from this cruise! We've been blessed to sail with some again and hope to sail with many more again in the future.
